>>
>>22094689
Lost media is in my opinion one of the most horrifying phenomena out there. The idea of something whose existence is unknown parallels that of ghosts, skinwalkers, and various spooks. The fact that someone claimed to have seen a fucked up video years ago invokes feelings of sympathetic dread for what the viewer saw. The same goes for stuff like the Owen Hart death tape, Christine Chubbuck suicide tape, the Columbine Basement tapes, and other freaky shit people have seen on television or in movies. Yes, it's technically not "paranormal", but it falls within the realms of general unease and creepiness.

I can't speak for everyone, but when the content of said media is something that is atypical (e.g. a lost video of a windy tree wouldn't be scary), it becomes even more scary. In the realm of ero-guro, something like this is likely to exist, however, the disappearance of something creates the demand of rarity, which works in tandem with the fascination of the unknown to create an interest that seems to transverse typical points of inquiry. I think this is why we see things as creepy, because we don't fully understand them. For instance, ghosts are creepy not just because there is a lack of clear-cut scientific and quantitative evidence, but also because of WHY or IF they are here.

Saki Sanobashi is something that should exist, but something about it seems uncanny. There's some aspect of this mystery that intrigues and brings together different people, which is why we are trying hard to find it. Look what happened to Machinima a few days ago. All their videos, 20000+, were deleted from the channel. They too have entered the realm of lost media. The preservation of media for future generations is important, but also that if we do not keep these things around, much of it will fall in to some sort of uncanny oblivion that will haunt those who were unfortunate enough to gaze upon it.

I hope I explained it well, though I don't quite fully understand it myself.
>>
>>22094867
Not trying to derail or anything but I know for certain that the Owen Hart death tape exists outside of the WWE vault. I've seen it on mexican TV about a couple of years ago and some other mexican anons have said the same.

Ive noticed a lot of clues to pieces of Lost Media are found on sites and places in Mexico and Latin America. Its been a really long time since I even thought about Saki, but didnt some anon say he found something on it on a Mexican site?
>>
Shouldn't we make art that looks like the real thing?
>>
Hello again my anons
>>
>>22095110
Culture regarding lost and cult media is really weird in latin america, well, here in Mexico at least. I remember back in the day we could go to our local flea market and find mondo, shock and snuff movies rather commonly. We are very morbidly curious at young age, I remember back in elementary school we would watch and share gore videos on our cellphones. We don't have a "lost media community" per se but we do have very dedicated members.

There is this hispanic youtuber called DrossRotzank, he has the biggest horror dedicated channel in the world. A lot of his videos are taken from stories on /x/. It's really just a matter of time until he makes a video about Saki. This could be good or bad, as it could bring a lot of attention and help but a lot of his public are immature and obnoxious. Last time he spoke about /x/ we ended with a flood of Momo and Ahenobarbus Henocied shitposting threads.
>>
>>22095524
Yeah I've noticed that whenever I search for saki I keep getting alot of Spanish speaking websites talking about it.

What's the chance that the original guy forgot some key details? He obviously forgot where he streamed it, if he didn't stream it that would imply a physical copy which would be harder to forget (at least for my cheap ass).
Maybe if we search through all the main anime pirating sites and look through the horror anime we might find an OVA that fits the description. It might not have the same title, but if the title we're working with now means something there must be useful stuff on google.
>>
>>22095937
The most likely outcome is that the name is most likely wrong, which is why nobody can't find anything get, first there is go for a punch which could also be just a title screen put in there or the name of the actual uploader in the page he found.

The name Saki Sonobashi most likely is wrong or isn't even the real name of that OVA, I believe in the posibility of being real but as some really obscure vhs release back in the 80's, japan had a lot of horror/gore stuff at that time.

Sadly while he described the whole thing fairly well in those screencaps, it seems like he most likely didn't even knew the name of the site and just found it randomly.

On some sketchy site on the deep web, so it might not even exist on the clear one. Also, the Saki Sanobashi title was just something an anon provided on /a/, we have no way of knowing if it's accurate in any way, so I think the original one, "go for a punch" should be used instead.

I know it's an exciting hunt, but honestly, the original poster saw it in 2011, that's 8 years ago. It has no reason to not exist, but I don't know how likely it is for it to still be up.

The best, and probably only search method that will yield any result is to ask in forums on the deep web, and look for it in any community and site related to anime on there.

>>
Sorry for my ignorance - Have any anon tried contacting jap animation stations or the such, maybe a jap exclusive imageboard here and there?
>>
>>22095985
How about the possibility of it being an episode of a show? Maybe an anthology show like the Junji Ito collection or something of the sorts? I know that the original guy said it was ~30 minutes long, which would be around the length of an episode. He watched it between 2011 and 2015 (I've heard both dates), and I have a slight hinge that it's not actually from the 80s or 90s.
A lot of horror movies and anime use grainy old-timey aesthetics as they abstract things very slightly, resulting in eerie shots. This is why fans of classic horror and thriller movies prefer VHS for such genera of films.
>>
>>22095855
Reminds me of one of the characters. from "when They cry" or whatever that was called, where the girls kill each other in a house

> and I have a slight hinge that it's not actually from the 80s or 90s.

It wouldn't surprise me actually, the idea of the actual thing coming from the 2000s or something like that sounds plausible, mostly by how he described the artstyle and animation in those posts.

Could have been just a some cheap production and someone just added the vhs effects for atmosphere, also that could explain the english subs since I don't think a production like that would get then back in the 80s or 90s.

I haven't seen this show, but going off the >>22095937 hypothesis of this being an episode to a show it might be Perfect Insider. Perhaps the guy who came up with naming the girl Saki just misheard Shiki. Since our current clues are turning up nothing I think we need to steer towards alternate explanations as to why certain details are so obtuse.
>>
>>22096081
I've seen that show, and it's a pretty standard mystery/thriller without anything like a bunch of girls killing each other in a bathroom.
>>
>>22096081
I say we should disregard the idea that this came from the 80's or 90's and just look between different horror/gore releases with some sort of similar theme or tone, it is clear it had some sort of english subs but we don't know if those ones were made for that exact video.

I know sounds like a pain the ass, but looking through episodes of some releases with that common theme of highschool girls dying in painful ways sounds like the best approach since nothing still comes out, or at least ask to some experts in anime gore to see if they find that exact same scenario in some series.
>>

Could try looking here for any anime made in the 90-80s and look through the episodes of those to see any of them fit the description of what we're looking for

>I know sounds like a pain the ass, but looking through episodes of some releases with that common theme of highschool girls dying in painful ways sounds like the best approach since nothing still comes out, or at least ask to some experts in anime gore to see if they find that exact same scenario in some series.

Mostly this, because despite the way that anon described it, he could also had somet details wrong, he said something about watching it back in 2011 while the original post was back in 2015, so he could most likely just forgot or mixed up couple of key details
>>
Something else to consider, looking up "Ero Guro" on Wikipedia (which I found through their article on Midori), I found the article on this old alternative manga magazine that seemed to have a strong focus on underground alternative shit.

They have a big list of mangaka on the article, including Maruo Suehiro and many others who don't have English Wikipedia articles. Anyone want to look into some of these creators or see if we can find scans of 80s articles of this?

>>
>>22097106
"elcreadorx"
"Although I consider this to be just a creepy pasta... The name "saki sanobashi" must be badly written (everyone write/pronounce japanese wrong when they dont study/talk it)
If we were to breakdown the name to give it some meaning in japanese, it would be like this, saki-san (saki should be the name of someone) no (indicates possession/property) basshitsu (yes I know that tsu was not originally in the title, but in some words the tsu doesn't make a sound in japanese, so if someone who doesn't study Japanese wouldn't notice this soundless "tsu", that, without saying that I have seen fansubs where they try to simplify words by removing letters). It would come as this " The punishment (basshitsu) room of (no) saki (saki-san)
"
>>
>>22097130
In another comment he also says that basshitsu is a discontinued word ( a. Old word they isn't used anymore) this makes a lot of sense if you consider the time that this supossed OVA was created

Original OP said he found it on the deep web. It's likely that it was an OVA with cuts, considering OP said it started and ended abruptly. Saki doesn't sound as shocking as Genocyber or Elfen Lied (both on YouTube) but chances are that Saki contains other forbidden themes similar to how 6 minutes of Midori where destroyed by the goverment because of footage portraying the emperor.

doubt the name is saki sanobashi. whilst saki is, indeed, a name, sanobashi is not a surname. sanobashi (佐野橋) is the name of a bridge in japan. sano (佐野) is the city where it's located. bashi or hashi (橋) means bridge. pic related is the bridge i'm talking about.
>>22097130
i don't think whoever brought up that name misheard it. in japanese the surname goes first. so it should be sanobashi saki. he couldn't have misheard saki-san no basshitsu as sanobashi saki because it makes no sense. maybe he misheard the "surname" and it's not "sanobashi saki" but "(something else) saki"? or maybe the anime was somehow related to the real life sano bridge location and the part he misheard is "saki"?
>basshitsu

I agree that it's most likely an episode of some series or compilation instead of an standalone release, which is most likely the reason why is so hard to find.

Yeah like the fact it sounded like some disturbing horror story given the context of the original rumor but later was confirmed to be just one scene from actually bittersweet show where it wasn't even called clockman to beging with.

Great details you it had, the closest thing it got was the fact it did run in what it was originally ran in the same channel that later became nick.

This, it's obvious both names are wrong at this point, we rather just try to look for more obscure horror/gore anime and see if something leads to it, the theory of that video being an episode of some series/compilation seems more convincing at this point.

Okay so I've been doing some searching and I ended up finding this question of a Japanese person asking something about a anime they've seen in the day. So when I translated it I only got a description of something completely different. But may I add I found this when I was searching with guro, anime and 80's in my search. So I think I might be finding something. Also note the ask is from 2001.

>>22100238
Also from this same site I've found a question where someone asks for anime to watch and someone said hellgirls and it's basically where this girl is from >>22095647

Since I know Spanish. I can speedrun translate this. Pretty much they found a film called Limitless Paradise made by Hiroshi Harada which actually fits into much of the orginal OP's description. Many of them are which Limitless Paradise is 40 minutes long, made in 1984, Harada is known to show mutiliation in his works and his style is close to Miyazaki which was "reportedly looked like [Go for a punch ------- dl]), Jap voice with subs. Also stated that Limitless paradise is nowhere to find as of now, though there was apparentlely a listing for it on sale but no one ever wanted buy it back then. I'm not sure where you can buy it, And also if it's available is another question.

Except there was evidence that Cry Baby Lane existed independent of the creepypasta.
Clockman gave a specific lead: Pinwheel on Nick, offering potential to be debunked.
You're forced to seek evidence for the GFAP pasta yourself, which, to that anons credit, is vague enough to reasonably exist, but just not as substantial as those examples.
>>
>>22101149
I haven't read the pastebin but I've been following this very closely, so it might not be in the pastebin
basically evoslayer said they knew about it (being called possibly saki sanobashi) because they found it in a manga bin.
4chan poster watched it as an anime
idk about evoslayers validity tho and think that they might be a bit of a false lead
>>
>>22101149
>talking about manga?
Yes. If a anime exists there is a high chance it has or had a manga prior. thus leading some anons to look for the manga if it does exist
>>
>>22101153
clockmans validity was detested because it sounded too much like a creepypasta
regardless of substantial leads, GFAP has credibility, though it will be a whole lot harder to find being it's an erotic gore VHS, rather than a Slavic kids show
>>
I'm Going to place my bets now and say that Saki Sanobashi has been found and is in one of those shitty "top 10 disturbing ___" videos but nobody is looking on those
>>
>>22101167
The point is that OP gave a lead (and helped pursue it). All we have is "deep web" which is as good as saying you saw it on YouTube.
>>
Pewdiepie's subreddit only allows link posts. I literally sent Pewdiepie a private message on Instagram explaining our situation. I already tweeted him days ago. I was thinking about this (again), and I realized it reminded me of this picture I found on Photobucket a while back with the same concept (girls trapped in bathroom with no door, guro, etc). The original source seems to have disappeared. This reads "defect girls", "102" and "bandage", and "presented by vanilla 2002", but that hasn't gleamed anything from my searches.

Could it be related to "Go For A Punch"? I know the OP of the post talking about the anime said the art style was very 80s/90s, and that all but one of the girls had short, dark hair, but the glaring similarities and the fact that they're both obscure in nature haunt me a bit. Maybe the anon could have misremembered some details, or this could have been some kind of concept art for a remake (if one ever existed)? I'm not crazy, am I?
>>
>>22102120
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/11819
It seems like Danbooru at least has it, but again, no original source. Apparently, this artist (vanilla (nicolla)) used to draw a lot of hentai, and this image is over 13 years old. No word on whether it's an original piece, or work for someone else. They drew cover art for what looks like an eroge, Sabae No Ou, as well as two CGs for one called Mitsu (Rouge), so this being similarly copyrighted work would not be out of the question.
It seems that this particular theme is completely outside the artist's pool of comfort, too. A quick look through their tag, and it looks like they never drew those characters, work with this concept, or even guro ever again. I know this might be a wild goose chase, but I'm almost obsessed.

Hi, anon! Here, I've copy/pasted all the important details from the original poster in https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/15821364/#15827912. Might get long, but:

>Some weird anime about naked girls stuck in a large bathroom without doors, having a philosophical debate about never getting out of the room. After losing hope and starving for some days everything goes downhill.
>They just start screaming and yelling.
>Then they all commit suicide, either by smashing their heads on the floor or scratching their necks to bloody pieces
>One girl helped the other to drown in the sink, because she asked her to hold her, because she couldn't do it...
>Looked 80ish in quality (audio too). Japanese dub. English subs. Lasted for about 30 minutes. No credits, but it seemed ripped.
>Voices sounded very young, but eh, Japanese sound young in their 50'.

>Little, rather far appart eyes almost like by Miyazaki.
>Most had bushy brown hair and only one (the one that was drowned) had really brightly colored hime cut. (almost white)
>I watched it in 2011 for sure.
>one particullar scream one girl had. It had a really strange echo to it, and it almost made me dizzy. The closest reproduction of that sound I can find is from the Shining soundtrack "Dies Irae"
>There was 9 girls in the room. 8 of them looked really similar, but all their voices varied.
>There was not even instrumental music, just occasional ambience througout the video.
>What was most unsettling about the suicide scene were the weird camera angles and no horror music as I'd expect, just girls softly sobbing and gagging as they ripped their necks open with their firngers. They looked like an embodiment of lost hope. And the head smashing parts... I don't even want to go into details.
>>
>>22102203
Apparently, this is/was the artist's Pixiv. The image isn't there, but a cover for a hentai manga is:
https://pixiv.net/member.php?id=713971
I found it from this site that also links the Danbooru post as a source, and names the artist, "vanilla":
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=zh-CN&u=https://zhidao.baidu.com/question/413594630.html&prev=search
I say "is/was", because this Pixiv account was last updated 7 years ago (2011) and the original image with the girls in the bathroom isn't there. I honestly can't tell whether it's even the same artist as >>22102120, since the art style is a bit different. It could easily just be that their style evolved since 2002(?), but since all we have is a Pixiv ID that could have changed hands over time, I'm still on the fence. Not sure if they still even check the account, but there might be a way to contact them through there.

Also, here is another source:
http://e-shuushuu.net/wiki/index.php/Vanilla
Apparently, this used to be their blog, but it's gone now:
http://citronelle.blog63.fc2.com/
The most recent thing I found in relation to this artist, "Vanilla", is that there are/were more hentai manga being sold under their name on Amazon up til 2016: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B01MXF6YBB/ref=sr_1_1/356-9165409-7551208?ie=UTF8&bsppEnabled=false&qid=1548427303&redirect=true&s=books&sr=1-1
This is actually the same art style as the drawing on the Pixiv account, so it's definitely their work. Is it possible that the artist is selling their works independently through Amazon, or is it all done through a third party of some sort? If it's them, I feel like contacting them through Amazon might gleam results faster than through Pixiv.
>>
>>22102308
My mistake, they've been selling up til 2018 (NSFW link, obviously): https://www.amazon.co.jp/4LDK%E5%A7%89%E5%A6%B9%E4%BB%98%E3%81%8D%EF%BD%9E%E7%84%A1%E4%B8%80%E6%96%87OK%E3%80%81%E3%81%9F%E3%81%A0%E3%81%97%E7%AB%A5%E8%B2%9E%E3%81%AB%E9%99%90%E3%82%8B%EF%BD%9E-5-%EF%BD%96%EF%BD%81%EF%BD%8E%EF%BD%89%EF%BD%8C%EF%BD%8C%EF%BD%81-ebook/dp/B07D37Z4GJ/ref=sr_1_41?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1548429041&sr=1-41&refinements=p_27%3A%EF%BD%96%EF%BD%81%EF%BD%8E%EF%BD%89%EF%BD%8C%EF%BD%8C%EF%BD%81

Marriage and prostitution being women's only choices, so that they may have less competition in the professional field and access to cheap domestic slaves and reproduction. The "sex economy" is laissez faire because that is its most natural form. We can afford to have it this way due to our abundance of resources.

Male LIFE and sexuality however are about obtaining power. Of course women are going to be attracted to what you display most. The views of liberal feminism on prostitution have so degraded because of male infiltration, if anything. It is in men's interest for a class of women like that to exist.

I discovered this little-known Japanese exploitation movie whose storyline is somehow related to Saki Sanobashi's.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1929181/

Synopsis:
Five suicidal people meet on the internet and form a 'suicide group'. They all have reasons for which they want to terminate their lives. They arrange to meet at one of the member's homes to spend their last hours together.
>Based loosely on an actual account that took place in Japan. Life, sex and redemption.

Maybe Saki Sanobashi was loosely based on the same real story, too? I don't know.

Might've worded that a bit wrong.
I'm just trying to imagine what they talk about. Considering there's 9 of them, apparently. It'd be a bit difficult to write a conversation between 9 girls imo.

I didn't cry myself to sleep but there was definitely a tear when I read Metamorphasis. And I had nausea after pic-related (forgot the name, Idon't want to remember. I just find it funny that a positive quote like this is in that shitstain.) Us humans have fallible memory, or exaggerate shit, so if I wanted to I could say I cried myself to sleep or vommitted after reading them.
Anon might just be exaggerating, or had his memories confused.

Or lying... but even if this isn't real, it fascinates me.
>>
This is not related to Saki Sanobashi, but I bumped into this perverse shit while seeking it and I'm sure it will interest many anons.

https://www.amazon.com/Harakiri-Boobs-Blood-Box-Set/dp/B001EXE31O

>Harakiri is coming to DVD and we have the artwork for you. ITs a limited edition for Unearthed Films, only 1,000 to be sold. Attired in their favorite fetish wear, hot-blooded Japanese ultra vixens perform the most masochistic acts of self-sacrifice and submission. The traditional oriental art of Harakiri...Violating their young bodies in ritual self-immolation, they plunge razor-edged blades into their soft, naked flesh. A sea of sweet, red blood cascades as their all too brief lives ebb, and death embraces them.

Pic related was taken from one of the movies contained in that DVD-set

More info:

DVD1:
> Aside from menus, disc one features trailers for Female Harakiri: Glorious Death, School Girl: Harakiri, Female Harakiri: Celebration, White Clothing: Harakiri, Paradise Lost: Riding Habit Harakiri, Beautiful Swordswoman: Double Seppuku, Red Room and Red Room 2.

Female Harakiri: Glorious Death:
>A woman sits in the corner of a dark room and looks at the folded uniform of a WWII era Japanese soldier. We fade out then see her kneeling in a kimono on a mat. She disrobes and fondles herself, preparing her body for what's to come. She takes out a knife and lays it on the floor until she's ready, at which point she wraps it and holds it to her breast. She pushes the blade into her stomach and slits herself open. She lies on the mat and slowly bleeds to death.

School Girl: Harakiri:
> A school girl kneels on her mat looking over an old photo album containing pictures of people committing seppuku. Becoming aroused by what she sees, she touches herself and licks her fingertips. She pulls out a knife of her own, takes off her uniform, and in a very fetishistic manner proceeds to slit open her stomach and then pull out her guts. She gets down on all fours, pulls out some more of her intestines, and then dies in a pile of gore.

Honestly there is probably a 50/50 chance that picture is related to Saki Sanobashi. Lots of similarities
>>

On that note, think we'd find anything if we search for different Japanese translations of the term "Defect Girls"? We still don't know the "real" title yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but have we pursued the idea of "Go for a punch" being the name of a studio? From everything thats been brought up it wouldn't be unusual for it to be a small underground independent studio I suggest maybe searching for things from this angld

Our best bet is that the artist got inspired by our item or something related to it. The themes don't fully match (naked vs bandages, hair color, the girls in the pic have "defects"), but the anon saw the thing 4 years prior to posting, so it may not have been a too accurate account. I do agree it's the best we've got though.

Cool. Maybe you could ask Pewdiepie about this...?
"I actually heard about this anime on a YouTube comment (it miiiigggghhhtttt have been a Pewdiepie Corpse Party video, but I 'm not sure). I didn't mention it earlier because I wasn't sure if it was that, there might have been 2 identical shows, and I did not remember if it had a name or even if the name was mentioned. A creepy disturbed man claimed he loved some freaky anime. One of which was an anime where high school girls are trapped in a room, and tortured until they killed himself. He said he liked to see people figure out what they would do in certain situations. The comment is probably lost now."

Maybe we should ask any and all guro mangaka/artists we can find. I have asked Waita Uziga on FB but haven't received a response from him. The cover he did for that one Lord Gore album made think of what we're looking for.

See if there are any notable collectors of guro/ero-guro and ask them also. Maybe some that run shops or something.

Cast the net far and wide while keeping it relevant.

I remember this anime. I saw it on /b/ years ago. Probably 2013. It was linked to an anime streaming site. It wasn't quite as explicit as your average guro. The two pictures in this thread are great representations. Another detail that I distinctly remember is that the girl who whacked her head off the wall hit it on a faucet sticking out of the wall. it looked more like a change or shower room than a bathroom.

They literally did all go insane in that room. I don't remember it being a half hour long though, more like 15-20 minutes.

It wasn't that terrible, but I can see how it would fuck with people.

Maybe it was saki shinobazu
Or sanobashi was the place of production of the animation and saki the author, or the title, but regarding go for a punch, while i can't say anything major, the title does reminds me of the 2 anime series "ace no nerae" or "top wo nerae: gunbuster" and both of those are very influencial anime and their titles translate to aim for the ace/top, ace no nerae is also from around the timeframe described, it's an unrelated sports show but maybe the alleged "go for the punch" is some sort of spoof on it, since it had scenes with girls in bathrooms or changerooms as well
>>
>>22106192
There has already been some discussion of Gunbuster in one of the previous threads. Someone posted a pic of the main girl in a bathtub with a post like "Hmmmm" and then another guy made a twitter account trying to scare people using the image as an avatar. The whole thing was really gay and should never have happened imo.

You did bring up an interesting notion, though. Was it common for anime in the 80s to get spoofed? Something about that idea doesn't feel right.
>>
>>22106214
80's anime was spoofed and is sppofed all the time! It sppofs itself! Spoofception. Watch Gintama. Or the Devilman-Cutie Honey crossover, the chibi one. Absorb Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
>>
It's not much, but I've been doing a little searching on Mandarake and found this:

https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1025798409&ref=list&keyword=saki anime&lang=en

Does anyone know what this manga is? There doesn't seem to be a translated version of it online, so I assume it's pretty obscure.
>>
>>22106286
Wait, scratch all that. I put the Japanese description through google translate and it appears that this is a fan comic based on the Saki anime. I still think it's a neat find though, what with the bathroom tiles and creepy vibe making it... at least sort of relevant?

Fans of slasher anime are actually quite common, you just have to know where to look for them. There used to be a general on /b/ but I think they migrated to 8ch when that board turned to shit. I wanna say some of them still hang around on /d/? No idea now that I think about it lol.
