may i start searching on the deep web? because i know nothing about japanese but i can enter that site hoping to see if there's something.
>>22077205I think it's safe to say that evoslayer is unreliable. Me and a few other people have confirmed that the YouTube link he posted was not "manga scans" but was instead a video of a guy writing "happy fucking Valentine's day" in his blood>>22077258Go ahead. Maybe check around some forums and chans. Just make sure you don't run into any cp
>>22077295funny that evoslayer is probably here reading this from somewhere. sad to know he lied.
dont remember when, but this next text was someone saying he was the op? holy shit thats hard to know>-OP: Sorry if I misled anyone. I'm fucking stupid, how could I forget. There were probably japanese symbols in the title, but I had windows xp at the time, so I could only see them as little boxes. It was like this Go for a punch dl/(some code consisting of letters and numbers I'm not sure if the exact amount of boxes is accurate, but I'm sure there was less boxes before the english text. Btw, the layout in the site I watched it in looked similar to todays Bing video previewer.
>>22077316I'm not too mad at him. If anything he got more people interested in it.
>>22077329or maybe YOU'RE HIM!! *chan chan chan*okay now seriously, it is true that him got us interested, but i'm worried cause the possibility of this all being his inventions.
Is that "curse" of the first link real? I mean, i couldn't read it, I just saw no sense letters. Do you suggest i see a priest?
what if we say to Evoslayer that we know he lied, so we can see what he says. Maybe (don't think because of the thing said previously about him being probably the same who posted that link on /x/) he is actually misremembering.
I don't know if anyone's said it already since I've only skimmed through the previous threads, but could it be possible for the title to be "Saki-san no bashi"? As in, she's from that place originally. I know it doesn't make much sense, but it's still worth something, right?
>>22077578>Saki-san no bashiuuuhh, you might have encountered something. Reading it makes a lot of sense.
>>22077578what about "saki-san obashi"i found this thing but idk called "Saki-san no yaboyô"https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1461792/
>>22077578So it's like "Saki's room"? Makes a lot of sense, hope it's the correct title.>>22077636That can't be it, Hayate is a light-hearted romantic comedy.
we can read Saki Sanobashi as...Saki SanobashiSaki-san no BashiSaki-san ObashiSaki Kobashi (The porn actress)Saki-san no yaboyô is not what we're looking for.Saki-san no Bashi means "Saki's Spot/Place/Room"?
There is an author from the late 19th century who used to go by the pen name of "Saki". What if OC actually watched an amateurial anime adactation of one of his short tales?https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Saki-Collected-Novels-Stories-ebook/dp/B00JPJFFYS>Saki's (a.k.a Hector Hugh Munro) unique brand of humor has resonated with readers for over a century. Both macabre and also at times vicious, his writing nonetheless manages to perfectly capture the trivial absurdities of the Edwardian era in England.>His subjects are almost always louche members of the upper classes - in particular his perfectly observed anti-heroes such as Clovis and Reginald - who wouldn't feel out of place in the world of P.G Wodehouse's 'Bertie Wooster'.>The fatal flaw of hypocrisy receives particular attention in Saki's world, with vengeful justice often meted out in the most unlikely and unexpected fashion by birds, beasts and children alike.>This collection contains both novels by Saki, all of his short story collections, and also his individual short stories the were published outside collections - in total 144 separate works (including the collection "The Square Egg and other Sketches", frequently omitted from other collections)
stealing this post from a previous thread>Going to Akihabara>Going to one of the stores that are hidden away in an alley>Sifting through countless VHS tapes>Finding tons of obscure horror OVA's that have not been uploaded>Still no Saki Sanobashi>Eventually when all hope is lost you describe the plot to the store owner >He immediately knows what you are talking about and finds you a copySaki Sanobashi!
>>22077822This!! We need to dig this. I can't right now and i'll be back in three hours and so. But when i come back ill start searching about him.
>>22077730It might also be Saki/-san no Hanashi or Banashi( Saki's Tale) but the only think I found looking for it was thishttps://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=38179
>>22078001Saki's Tale might relate to this lead, as I suggested earlier>>22077822
>>22077945Thanks for reposting my autistic greentext lmao
>>22077578So would it be like this? 咲さんの場所
>>22077822>>22077969Here's a full collection of his short storieshttp://haytom.us/stories-full-list/
I don't think the name Saki Sanobashi is a good enough lead. How is it that one person had a hunch in 2015 immediately but 100+ people in 2015+4 have no collective idea? It's doubtful that it is even called "Go for a Punch". I would focus less on the name and more on the content itself. If any Japanon can go on 5ch and ask around, that would be greatly appreciated, because the earliest I'm going back to Japan is in mid-May, doubtful if then.
>>22078439I agree with anon, were obsession over a name that someone said might have been it. we should focus on OP who greentexted, if anything we should be trying to figure out go for a punch, no saki-san no bashi (although it is appropriate as a placeholder name)
>>22078439why don't you just google translate sum shit like "we need the help of an English speaking person *link* " and post it on 5ch
>>22078524Google is extremely bad at translating stuff to and from Japanese. We need someone who actually speaks the language. But someone here must have a Japanese friend or an acquaintance they can ask for help.
>>22078524You can't post on 5ch unless you are in Japan. If you can find a working VPN then you're set.
>>22078569>>22078560>VPNgood idea>jap friendleafanon, only chinks here
Does anyone know if there was any big producers or publishers of OVAs in particular? Maybe ask them about it
What happened to the old thread?
>>22078685Reached bump limit. I'm glad to see that someone started a thread before me since the past two were made by me
There were people saying they'll search for help in japanese forums, what happened to them? this thing, called whatever it is called, is waiting for us.
Old thread quotes"Probably not much help but several years ago I watched a hentai with a similar plot. A group of people finds themselves trapped in a tiled room and then have to fuck or else they all get killed. They get killed off one by one anyway in standard ero-guro fashion. It was a multi-episode OVA and I'm assuming it may have inspired the OP to write their story. Currently googling to find the name, will report back once I've found it.""Sounds like euphoria""Saki Sanobashi is definitely not euphoria. Just mildy similar"
I screenshotted the entire first Saki Sanobasi thread.
>>22078787It's kind of hard to look for something when you don't even know what it's called. Also a guy in a previous thread(>>22076544) said that he'd been looking around for in on Japanese sites using the discretion/plot and found nothing.

>>22078841what are you trying to say
Sorry if i'm starting to be annoying but i think it is necessary to make you know everytime i make an update.I posted here all what we discovered about the name Saki Sanobashi but i think the thing that anon said is right, we need to focus in the content and not this much in the name.If we make more progress in the next 24 hours i will make an Update #2.https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/ahk64c/searching_for_go_for_a_punch_an_horrifying_anime/
Alright lads. I'm calling out evoslayer. Let's see how this plays out

Alright lads. Evoslayer slid into my dms and here is some of the highlights of our conversation
>>22079467Not sure if he's telling the truth. Seems like the beginning of a creepypasta. He's a nice guy though. Let's see how this plays out.

Could Evoslayer be mistaking Saki Sanobashi with Brain Damage by Shintaro Kago?>Title: Brain Damage (ブレインダメージ)>Author: Shintaro Kago>Category: Seinen>Genre: Horror>Year: 2017According to the internet, it's about a bunch of girls with the same hair cut and clothing locked in a bunch of rooms. It sounds very similar to Saki Sanobashi, and the character traits sound similar too (Miyazaki-esque, small far apart eyes).
>>22079625There's only one problem with this>2017
>>22079625It's unlikely. Saki Sanobashi was first mentioned in 2015. Perhaps Kago got some inspiration from the OVA (if it existed). He has an email address on his website, so I'll take the initiative and email him about Saki Sanobashi.
>>22079625Evoslayer's description was too similar to the OP for that.
>>22079478Does he remember anything about the VHS cover if it had one. Someone on the last thread described one that they thought could be it.
>>22079638>>22079625fuck yea! looks like we're starting to make some movement, keep us posted>>22079728basedo y redpillieñedo
>>22077205I will post this opinion in this thread aswell : what if the actual OVA was not Japanese but a Korean/Chinese and the first anon who posted the story has a bad memory of the language used in it?Anyway, if someone could help me a better translator than Google translate for Japanese I can try to use a VPN tomorrow (since it's night here now) I can try to post wherever you guys want and try to get some replies
>>22079962Dumb question but does Korea and China have anime? This seems like it would be a Japanese thing
>>22079986They do, but it's not as popular in the west.
>>22079638Please do it and let us know if you get answered

I'm going to sleep. Will get up in 7 hours probably, have nice dreams, 4chan! ;)
>>22080264The video was a red herring. It was unrelated to Saki Sanobuchi
This may be a long shot, but I've been going through the japanese second-hand store Mandarake using the word 'saki' in searches and looking for related results. Unfortunately, there's 170 pages of results, so I'd appreciate if anyone would like to look through for things that match the original description in terms of manga/anime as well. This title looks somewhat ghibli-esque, there's no proof it's guro but it does look dark and the pages translation of the title is "Gravel of Kokoroshima Saki roadside"
You guys know this meme? When I was 16 my parents did something similar to this. Not hentai. Bascially I loved anime and there was some old dad probably selling his neckbeard of a son's vintage collection of shit for money because he doesn't have a job or something. Anyways, They came home with like 3 boxes of anime shit. Shit from like 80's on VHS to DVD. I never watched the ones om VHS because it was 2015 and we didn't have a VHS player. Some of the covers were really gorey.
>>22080330i will, but we need to focus more on go for a punch>>22080338yeah i had some boxes with gorey anime
>>22080338Do you still have them?
>>22080367Yeah, I do. There at my parent's house in boxes under my bed. I'm kinda in college right now, and like I said I do not have a VHS player to watch them.
>>22080382Well next time you go there look through them and take pictures of anything that looks obscure
I imagine that if this exists, it was obviously very underground. Underground animation/comics groups tend to be surprisingly close-knit, so maybe there's some way the Japanese-speaking Tokyo anon could look into if Hiroshi Harada (creator of Midori) is still alive and ask him himself if anything about Saki rings a bell>tfw was on bungie for Clockman>was on /co/ for a day with spongebob squarepants>get to be on /x/ for Saki Sanobashi\happy to be back with another round of my favorite hobby
>>22081014That must be a great feeling anon. This type of lost media research is fun, expecially when it involves a morbid theme
>>22081014We've already asked Hiroshi Harada on his YouTube channel
I gonna check some spanish anime and horror sites. I want to help you guys so if I find something I will tell you
>>22081789That would help. I think I remember a friend (spanish speaker) doing mention of something similar. Along with a gore about a guy getting his penis cut off by bullies.
>>22080382Try checking for a old tv and vhs players at goodwill. Make sure they have the same input. RCTVs are like $20-$100 and vhs players are $10-$45. If you can't find it there ask for it on Facebook or craigslist.
>>22079962It's possible but unlikely because anime as a medium wasn't as developed there at the time which and would most likely look different from Japanese. Also Japanese doesn't sound the same as Chinese or Korean(although I guess people who don't watch anime wouldn't be able to tell).>>22079986They do but it's called something else there( I think it's donghua and donghwa or douga). China started to put more money into the animation industry so we might get more Chinese cartoons in the near future.
>>22079986China is releasing an anime on Karl Marx, lol
This is back?
>>22082666Yes it is
>>22082611lol really I would like to watch it
ngl i kinda wanna see the bloody valentine('s day) video now
https://desuarchive.org/a/thread/121595320/#121597090First use of the phrase "saki sanobashi". It was indeed on /a/ and not the original anon
>>22079986>>22079962Both Koreas, China and even places like Viet Nam have animation studios and sometimes comic industries. Their animation studios are not as prominent as the japanese ones but they've been doing more and more work on recent years. Some of the OVAs released in America during the 90s were actually examples of South Korean animation made with "leftovers" from japanese projects. However, pornography is, IIRC, illegal in South Korea. And until the late 90s, South Korea had a law that was meant to protect their national identity, but in truth was made to ban everything made in Japan. Anime was being made in South Korea, but at the same time it was illegal to buy in that country. I don't think I have to explain the North Korean situation. China also bans tons of shit all the time but the black market there is unstoppable, so it's not like chinese people can't watch banned films. If this thing does exist, it has to be a japanese project, made in Japan.
>>22082722There's an oak table with a blank sheet of paper. A man cracks his thumb and blood oozes out of a wound. You can hear the slight pop each time he writes out some letters with his blood. He gently smears his blood across the page spelling out the word "Happy". He cracks his thumb again. You can hear the popping sound as more blood escapes his finger. He then writes the word "fucking". Off screen, he moves his hands and once again you can hear the familiar crack of his thumb, as presumably more blood seeps out. He then writes "valent-", but stops before he can finish to get some more blood from his thumb. Finally, he finishes off "-ine's day" as drops of blood spatter around the page and the camera still runs for a few more seconds before the video cuts off. That's what I can remember from the video, although I don't know how many times and the intervals in which he cracks his finger to let blood out. Made me goddamn queasy watching it and now thinking about it again. I would have downloaded it but it grossed me out too much to do so. Perhaps some anon saved it, but it's doubtful.

I am 99% sure this is a red herring and I don't want to take people's attention away from better leads but this particular image stood out to me because (1) what looks like neck scratching (though I think it's a pretty common guro trope) and (2) the tiles give the aesthetic of a bathroomThe image filename is literally "maruosuehiro" though so unless whoever the Japanese guy was who put up this webpage chose to use a hyper obscure one-shot as indicative of Suehiro's entire career it's probably not directly related to Go for a Punch.
>>22084339Shit forgot to link the pagehttp://www.nagaisan.com/maruo.html

>>22084778maybe try watching the video so you can figure out why its relevanthonestly, even 40 seconds in you might be able to understand why im asking
>>22084713I speak Spanish and in the video she just gives a brief description of the original post, the video is about lost media ( because the video is from 2016 you can find clockman in it)
>>22084809is that it?nothing special?
>>22084813YesShe first describes the original post and ends saying that the poster of that post created a thread seeking aid (to find go for a punch) and that another anon comes up, saying that he has watched it and it's called saki sanobashiI'm not sure if that is right but aside that, she doesn't say anything special
>>22084793Well that's true, cant argue to that.
Instead of searching by the title, try to search with "tags", example, bathroom animation guro (in japanese) and you could go to images for an greater possibility of finding something, I don't know if Japanese work by just pasting words but for a search queue it should be enough, also if you can use a Japanese located searcher (the thing where you search) it would be better.I saw a photo in the threads with Japanese words that are "tag" like,. Those shall be useful keep in mind that three isn't just one word for something in japanese, also, let's not forget the probability of "go for the punch" to be a mistraslation
>>22084910this is clever, also boolean searches should make it easier
I was watching Cáleon's video about Go For A Punch (it's in spanish) and one of the comments grabbed my attention. The guy (username: elcreadorx) says that Saki Sanobashi might be mispelled. He suggested that Saki-san No Batsu-Shitsu translates to "Saki's Torture/Punishment Room" which kind of makes sense in context. Just a small note.
>>22085199Just something tangentially unrelated but my Japanese friend's grandfather used to string up his nieces and nephews to the ceiling as a form of punishment. It always sounded fun to me so I decided to go to Home Depot to buy some rope and try it myself. Ended up making a hole in the ceiling and bruising my hip real bad. I'm okay now, but my point is that the Japanese have a fucked up sense of punishment instilled in them from a young age, so it wouldn't be surprising if this anime/manga was created as a result of childhood torture.
>>22077205This honestly sounds like something that either Junji Ito or the mangaka of Parasyte would write. Or that creepy weird Japanese School Club one. Can't any Japanese anons help with tracking this down? It being from the 80's or early 90's seems off since Japanese OAVs were really limited to Creme Lemon stuff and that was it.
>>22084793Clockman being real certainly gives credibility to this, but clockman has a lot more detailed account than this story, posted by a known user, collaborated by independent sources. This story is posted anonymously on an image board, with no collaborating sources (that Twitter guy is likely a troll). I wish you guys all the best but I just don't see how this can be a real OVA
>>22085199Saving this. This definitely needs to go in a a cringe compilation. In a good way.
"Saki Sanobashi" is just a thing to mislead you.The anime does exist.
>>22085829Got proof of this?
>>22085829I agree with you
>>22085829>>22085891"Saki Sanobashi" was never mentioned anywhere in the original thread - only from an /a/non claiming to see it. We'd have better luck searching for "Go for a Punch." Although >>22085199 might've found a really good lead in that "Saki Sanobashi" could be a mistranslation of "Saki-san No Batsu-Shitsu."
anons making history, i wish the best luck for all of you
anons, at first i was skeptical, but now i want to believe... i want this to be real and to be found. i've gone from not really thinking this existed to thinking that this might be some kind of doujin release for it not being this available or easy to find.
>>22086564Sorry should've been more specific.I was referring to "this anime does exist", just sounded like you knew something. With regards to saki sanobashi being incorrect/misleading I do agree.
Sorry if this was posted before. I was doing a search through /a/'s archive to see if someone else saw Saki and found this. The post it's from a few months after the original one, so it must be someone trolling.
Has anyone searched throught the deep web? Idk if they have anime sites
>>22087349Honestly I seriously remember watching a anime scene like that on Youtube not to long ago. But I remember it being taken down when I tried to watch it again. I don't know if it's my brain making up this memory but I remember it. But the girls weren't naked I distinctly remember they where wearing brown and cream colored type sailor uniforms with symbols like school badges or something in the shape of eagles. Anyway I remember the scene being so un-nerving to me that I couldn't finish it at all but all I remembered one girl holding the other girl while they flung themselves on the ground and one bashing her head in the bathroom wall. I swear this existed.
>>22087450i hope you are not trolling us
So I found this. I don't how much it helps but it's a start.
>>22087489Doubt it. Umezu is one of the most popular mangska in Japan and a major influence to people like Junji Ito. Anything related to him would not be this hard to find.

>>22087489I just watched that a few days ago. It's pretty good
So was doing some web searching and came across this. https://scrap.tf/raffles/45NES3
>>22087576>saki sanobashi>a month agoNah, don't think so
Ok so I really think this is fake but I want to believe it's real.. so here's some mistakes you're making. One suehiro maruo is not the creator of "saki" the only one of his works to be animated was shoujo tsubaki, and there's no story like the one described in his works (I'm a fan) Kazuo umezo is not a guro creator in fact some of his works are family friendly and he is pretty loved in Japan so no, he is not the creator either. It's worth trying to ask maruo since he was most active in the 80s and if it exist he might know but the odds of he responding are not so good, but I hope he does. Oh and he speaks English so don't worry about the language gap. Try asking in his tumblr if he has the question box open or Twitter that's where his more active. Good luck
>>22087576>>22087642Just talked to them it was just a shitpost
http://www.angelfire.com/sk3/asianhorror/found this site. If anyone wanna help me lurk, go ahead.
>>22087679its all pretty much just folklore, it aint got shit
>>22083006That avatar is from fucking Gunbuster. The scene where the protagonist climbs out of the pool in the spaceship (IIRC) and you can see her glorious pubes.
I don't know why you are wasting your time searching on the surface. If this thing exists and the op said he watched it on the deep web then there's where it is!
>>22087826Would streaming a 30 minute file even be feasible in 2011-2015 on the derp web?
>>22087826I have yet to see a deep web video that wasn't just pulled from the clear web. This is no exception
>http://kanzo1984.hatenablog.com/entry/2014/04/09/003528Can anyone translate? I'm on mobile, i literally copy-pasted い アニメ- さきーさん の ばし found on the previous thread and this popped up as first result.
>>22087826Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't someone say they found the link in the deep web but it went to the clear Web?
>>22087846Is this anime
>>22087883Yes somebody did say that on a lost Media thread about a week ago
>>22087885Fuck, I knew it was nothing. Sorry for the falseflag then.
Are there any japanese sites dedicated to ero guro? There are a few English ones but I can't seem to find any japanese ones.
Just made /r/SakiSanobashi so that redditfags can help too. Doubt it will be used by anyone but its worth a shot
>>22077205what is Saki Sanobashi
>>22084039I believe it's the woman from Perfect Blue.
>>22084039Pretty sure it’s Noriko from Gunbuster.
New update from evoslayer. Allegedly the cover of the manga was a "scared looking girl with a himecut". So keep a look out for anything that matches that description
>>22088408An ero guro anime that may or may not exist. It's a holy Grail for degenerates like me who like that shit
>>22088408It's an anime that may or may not exist. An anon posted a description of it a few years back, and now we're trying to find it.
>>22088736i hope he's not lying us
>>22088736If he isn't just larping this is big. I'm going to check guromanga.com for it
>>22088736Cool, maybe I'll go to Book Off and search for it.
>>22088736Volume 3 of Dragon Head resembles evoslayer's description. He also said that Saki was kind of inspired by Dragon Head. Could it be that he is confusing these two?
>>22088877The plot thickens. If that's it then it seems less likely that he is lying considering he did mention dragons head in the original tweets
>>22088877It's either a coincidence or another dead end
>>22088877Evoslayer confirmed that this is what he was thinking of. So he wasn't lying. He just confused the two.
I'm gonna make this comment for good wishes. I was the anon who tried to find a gory anime amv only to find out it was flagged under the belief it may have been a lead to this OVA.I don't have much to say but I checked out the thread since its been days since the last time, but I would like to wish you guys good luck that you find Saki Sanobashi if it exists. Which I do wish it exists so that y'all can be satisfied that we got something.
men, stop being useless, why dont we all start searching on the deep web? and stop talking about Saki Sanobashi, we need to focus on the info we have, no in a name that's probably fake.go for a punch exists for sure, but we're not doing anything
I've talked with Evoslayer and that's true, he was talking about Dragon Head but he mixed that all up. Not gonna say he was lying.https://imgur.com/a/LxLfVyL
sorry if i post everything on imgur, that's because i have a problem posting images here
>>22089433Yeah, I don't think he is lying either. All in good spirit.
I made the 2nd update here, i also thing the right thing to do is searching on deep web and not necessarily using the name as a basehttps://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/ahk64c/searching_for_go_for_a_punch_an_horrifying_anime/
Back in the saddle with my pastebins boishttps://pastebin.com/mun0Zuyd
guys just wondering, what happens if and when we find it? what if its a huge disappointment?
>>22089564Thank you. I love you no homo
So, it seems that we should start digging on the Deep Web. I could try it myself but I'm kind of inexperienced in that field. I need special software like Tor, right? Is it safe (viruses)? What are other risks? I'm assuming original OP must've found an anime streaming website on the hidden wiki, or somewhere not that deep. Also, original OP said that the stream website looked like the Bing video player. Has anyone tried searching for tags and names on Bing? I tried on Bing Images and it provides much more content than Google (such as manga page scans).
>>22089586I don't think we're really expecting good content. I know I just want to know if it's real or not, out of morbid curiosity. Plus, I'm having tons of fun discovering new artists.
If this thread ends up becoming famous, include me in the screenshot
>tfw I asked my sister who lives in Japan with her husband to look for it and she turned me down.Sorry boys, got nothing
>>22089586Discovering that it exists at all is worth it. It's probably low-framerate powerpoint looking garbage if it does exist.
>>22089655Does the Bing video player have some sort of technical name we could look up?
For the the record, I've been through all 37 pages of mandarake's horror manga and also specifically showa-era horror, researching each author to check if any of them had anime adaptions. I've found very little to link it back to this. This doesn't mean it doesn't exist necessarily, but if it does it's certainly obscure.
>>22089911I forgot to add, but many of the comics are anthologies with no specific author (therefore unless I buy the comic, I won't know who the authors are and can't research them). At this point I haven't found proof of many OVA/OAV's made based on horror anthologies, but that also doesn't mean definitively that someone didn't cut out a specific story from one in the early days of the web and post it online.
>>22089911>>22089930Thank you so much for your help - if it exists, it must be very obscure then.
The term for a self published manga, magazine, or other written work is Doujin. I have no ide a what a self published anime or OVA would be called.
>>22079625Honestly, there are actual Shintaro Kago mangas that are way more disturbing than the description in OP. If I read a Shintaro Kago manga where all that happened was a few girls trapped in a room killed themselves, I'd be like "eh. this is a lesser work."
>>22089911i've read Junji Ito, several ghost books, Korean horror comics, Edgar Allen Poe. I watched Boku no ----. Nothing scares me more than Courage the Cowardly Dog and Shel Silverstein. I have this instinctual fear that people make fun of me for, but it's natural, I can't get rid of it.
Hey guys anyone here remember Ares? I remember I used to find anime and weird shit back in the day there, maybe we should give it a try.
>>22090133Courage the Cowardly Dog is fucking amazing in the way it mixes different mediums together to create unease; I've devoted a good deal of my college essays towards mixed media animation and there's something fundamentally awe-inspiring about it, whether for comedy or horror.Shel Silverstein (I needed to google the name but I instantly remembered the books) never struck me as scary as a kid but there's something about his minimalism and the way he plays with logic that's kind of uncanny if you put it in a certain light.
>>22090212I mean the stories where something is eaten, like the boa constrictor that eats everything, or the dentist that falls in the alligator's mouth. It might just be those stories, but I just remember there being a lot of messed up, disturbing stories. But yes, you are right.
>>22090212The farmer's ghost and the "return the slab" Ramses episodes were the worst. Ho norable mentions for e Fantasy Flan, the first Katz epidoes, the hotel/performance episode with the claymation blond girl, the snake episode, every epsiode with the chinese man, just... every episode is unsettling in some way.
I love courage as much s the next person but shouldn't we focus?
>>22090166Does Ares still work though? I've not heard about it for ages
>>22090298I'm sure there is a decent amount of people searching, but these threads are mainly people discussing and spectating the progress. Deep web could have some info on it but please be careful to not stumble onto something that could get you into trouble.
>>22090401>Deep web could have some info on it but please be careful to not stumble onto something that could get you into trouble.I wonder, does that shit even matter when you live in shitholes like South America or Eastern EuropeI guess if you were to buy something illegal
Hey guys I’m not sure what’s going on in this thread but I’m an n3 Japanese speaker if I can help somehow
>>22090604Yes, thank you!I don't know if everyone is nocturnal, or where they live. Wait and see.
>>22090618It’s 2:20 AM where I’m at can someone fill me in on what’s the story here?
>>22090621read >>22089460 or the reddit thread in the OP for the quick bogpillCan you maybe look through the Japanese web to see if you can find any good databases or forums on obscure 80s manga/OVAs?
>>22090790>read >>22089460meant to say >>22089564 for the pastebin but the post I linked had the reddit thread to so you get my drift
>>22090604Search 2chan for the anime. Use the anime's plot/description. We think both names are fake, but they may come in handy.https://5ch.net
>>22090834I mean make a post looking for Go For a Punch/Saki Sanobashi. If there already is one, that's okay. But please tell us and send the link. It means one of our own has started a thread already.
>>22090604>>22090621Actually, we suspect the anime may be illegal for multiple reasons. It depends on the country, the country of the video uploader, and the content itself.
>>22087576Ghost slide is also just an /a/ meme
I going to check some Kazuo Umezu works later, maybe it's based on one of his old mangas.
This is a hoax, faggots. It doesn't exist.
>>22091682Wasting your time
>>22091688I think is most likely just one of those obscure gore ovas made for vhs during the 80's, most likely we just have the wrong name which is why the whole story is so confusing, shit has been probably in someone shell for years without realizing how much people is looking for it right now.
>>22091963>probably in someone shell>probably in someones hell
>>22092498Wrong hentai. But it may help.
>inb4 Saki sanobashi is just a meme creepy pasta and does not really exist.
Any artists out there? I would love to see some depictions of this
>>22093055I'm a artist and honestly I was going to do a mock screencap as some form of troll but I don't know. I'll see where this idea gets me. I've been studying up on how 80's anime looked and stuff anyway.
you might find princess horror central useful
>>22093229Okay so I tried the site and it sends me to certain scenes by index and I clicked Drowned clips cause the OP said there is a scene where a girl helps another girl commit suicide by drowning her the bathroom sink. and only found something kinda close to the title to "saki sanobashi" but I doubt it's the clip OP is talking about.
>>22093229How did you ever find that site? Shit like that really proves that the deep web is overrated
>>22093076just do it, there isn't anything other than the original post at the moment, it could gather enough interesta and lot of people will most likely consider it as real.
If posting about in 2ch or 5ch is that much out of an issue, then what about looking for someone that lives in japan and could do it for us, i know it sounds like a pain in the ass but is worth a shot considering all the odds of finding something about it at the moment.
>>22093307What about those "riddle_room_drown"
Seems like something that "the anime man" would like
>>22093076desu i wanted to do a mockup too but more like to quench some of my curiosity
There's a HUGE megafire file dedicated to drownings. I am currently searching through it for anything that seems like it could be it.
>>22093539I've used several queries, but have found nothing related to the anime.
>>2209307680's anime is 80% shading and lighting and 10% eyes. The rest is hand drawn animation, and cheesy 80's rock.
>>22093076>>22093390Just make sure it's drawn super poorly. Like an independent artist drew it in a short time span. Originally OP said it was drawn poorly.
>>22093423I found nothing on Google.
>>22093945It's a movie called riddle room. Nothing special
>>22093373specialized search engine parameters. The onion address range is over 1 septillion so you aren't going to find anything on the darknet that doesn't want to be found. If it is out there, it will be on a long forgotten ftp server or open directory. Another possibility might be that someone is gatekeeping it.
>>22094136Why would someone gatekeep such a thing on the darknet when there is worse to be found here?
>>22093930Awww but I came up with my own take on it.
>>22094281That's way too western-looking. The hair is too detailed and your anatomy/perspective is too modern and accurate. Not saying 80s anime was ugly, but there was a definite whang to it that goes beyond just style. Also the colors should be more muted.
>>22094281should be a bit like miyazaki's work, no?
>>22094281Not gonna lie. This would have convinced me. Nice work
>>22094281Posted this on r/guro along with a link to the thread to help gain interest. Thank you for this
>>22094309>>22094301Yeah I honestly don't draw alot of the anime style but I tried. But this is how I kinda saw it in my head. I mean I tried to make it as close to the description as possible but I guess personal preference got the best of me.
>>22094344Glad I can be of some help.
>>22094281>>22094347been following these threads for a bit, just wanted to say that's actually pretty good. the other guy's points about the western style stand, but i think it's enough to get people's heads turning. would also prob be hot if it weren't for the whole blood-and-death thing, so i'd say you did good
>>22077205sounds a lot like the plot of the corpse party manga, in the scene where the two girls are trapped in the bathroom and end up dying. has anyone looked into this?
I was the OP of the Reddit thread on r/tomt from 3 years ago. I'm glad people still care and are searching for this. I don't have any new information, sadly, but I'm watching this thread.
>>22094495Nice to have you back on board
Reached bump limit. New thread >>22094565
>>22094571What is the exact bump limit in this board anyway? I might have been early
>>22087934i believe 2 and 5 ch have guro boards, like other anons are saying posting the original description to them would be our best bet
