not just sad/depressing shows, but you actually shed tears while watching them.
In regards to pic related, it was pretty damn melodramatic and over-the-top at times, but when Izu returns to Marin and she says "the ghost ship is calling me" I straight lost it
word of advice, avoid the English version at all costs, it's a real hackjob.
another one on my short list.
Only the most potent crybait: NGE and NHK are most common, KnK if you include manga
Exactly what I saw as well
What is this? Rec thread hour? Fuck off.
also to clarify I mean Windaria's English adaptation, not War in the Pocket's.
one of Ghibli's non-Miyazaki gems here
yeah good job anon
The only sad part from the source material didn't make it into the anime adaption.
Clannad, Kare Kano, Dennou Coil, Hoshi no Koe, Nagi no Asukara, Wolf's Rain, possibly Haibane Renmei. Some others that I don't remember and some others were close to crying. None of these are sad/depressing throughout except for Wolf's Rain but they all have a specific scene that made me cry.
Damn I watched it and don't remember any of the characters except the boy very very vaguely.
with Windaria I was doing fine up until the end, the very last bit is what did me in.
this one eked out a single tear, but it's damn good even if I wasn't moved to sobbing.
It really did hurt
If it didn't hurt, then no fans would even bother to speculate any possible theory about her husband
And why she kept it as a secret for so long? Especially to her junior and best friend. It didn't make a bit of sense
