What is the best space warship anime?
Macross? Yamato 2199?, Legend of Galactic Heros?, CoTS/BoTS? Captain Harlock? Gundam?
I wish something something like Yamato, CoTS/BoTs,LoGH came out in a future anime season - are space operas dead now?
LoGH is coming out in the future though.
>Bu-but all the anime I know have been made in the past!
Otherwise you wouldn't know them, dumbass.
If the warship itself is the most important part of it, to you, then Yamato or Macross. LoGH is more about fleets, as is Crest / Banner of the Stars after a while (and the individual ships are never that important anyway). Harlock is another good choice. Gundam has spaceships in it, but is mostly about the robots.
As for whether space operas are dead, I would say "no". The problem is that "new" space operas are hard to come by. A lot of the successful ones today continue to be rehashes or sequels of already existing franchises.
Nadesico might have been the last "uchuu senkan" series that gained popularity. Though I'm probably forgetting something.
2199 was trash
>I wish something something like Yamato, CoTS/BoTs,LoGH came out in a future
But there is, and internet has all the answers to the question you have if you know how to ask properly.
There weren't that many space operas to begin with.
You take that back fucker
I have already watched all them, I was just asking to see what anon preferred.
>oh look someone is asking something I better assume he is a newfag and doesn't know shit
Keep your blabbering to yourself and learn to read.
I know rehashes and remakes come out but I was merely expressing my desire for something new that was neither.

>repeats greentext shitpost.
