Reminder that a wrinkled purple cat man beat the shit out of the world's most powerful Z-fighter, ALL powerups and power of friendship shit included.
can he beat TouMAN thought?
you know that's not really a fair comparison, its like saying mike tyson can beat a baby in a fight, sure yea ok but its not really impressive. Beerus is a god, of course he can beat Goku, like wtf? It should be more impressive that Goku put up a fight at all.
He is not from a canon, so who gives a fuck.
Why was goku able to continue fighting with him like that after his SSJgod wore off? If it's just because of muh confidence, then what the fuck is the point of that form?
Didn't Toriyama write this?
1000 Cells versus Beerus, who wins???
Cells would probably not work well together, so their total strength is probably a lot less than 1000x the normal strength of 1 Cell. And Beerus isn't the type to get worn out after 1000 matches. I'd say Beerus wins.
he's destruction incarnate so yeah
And then the next villain will come along and make Bills look like a weakling. But when he fights Goku, it will still be a lame fight where all they destroy is mountains even though they should be blowing up galaxies by now.
DBZ doesn't work like that. You can't just add up characters' power levels like that. 1000 cells vs Beerus would be the same as 1000 oolongs vs Frieza. He would kill them all easily.
Quality Dragonball powerlevels
>SSJ 3 Goku knocked out by a poke and a light tap
>angry Vegeta stands up to Beerus for a while
>Goku loses his god form and somehow keeps up even better and longer than angry Vegeta
>Base form Goku even takes a direct hit to the face from Beerus and just keeps fighting like nothing had happened
There will be a reveal where the show that "powerlevels" are actually just a hazy way of defining power based on energy output, and is actually total bullshit. And that all combat ability is controlled through a subconscious technique called "power level overdrive technique" abbreviated as "PLOT"
Goku absorbed his God energy so now his base form is way stronger than it was before. This is going to be important in the upcoming movies because there will probably be some multiversal martial arts tournament and Goku needs a permanent power boost to even compete.
The Vegeta thing was bullshit though.
>The Vegeta thing was bullshit though.
I know I'm falling for the obvious vagetafag pandering, but comparing Goku and Vegeta, the main thing Goku has always had over Vegeta is a stronger personality and motives. You could look at it like Vegeta finally finding something to fight for that isn't just muh pride, Vegeta was able to surpass Goku there because for that moment there wasn't really anything Goku had that Vegeta didn't.
>Vegeta was able to surpass Goku there because for that moment there wasn't really anything Goku had that Vegeta didn't
This pretty much.
Frieza Saga Vegeta was the token evil teammate.
Cell Saga Vegeta was an arrogant ass that needed to be constantly knocked down.
Buu Saga Vegeta was too busy denying he was ever good.
In the movie he has come to terms with a lot of stuff and is willing to put aside his pride for the people he cares about.
So when he rages, he rages power ups a lot more than he ever did.
Well, that and Toriyama has confirmed that SSJ2 and 3 have less long term benefits compared to SSJ1.
talk to me after puss in boots there beats mr. popo
When did that phrase become a thing?
wrong. That movie is canon.
It's been a while since I watched but I think they explain it. It was something like because Goku was fighting with a powerlevel he aquired not gained he was able to adapt and fight at it for a little bit in his base form. Because he's such a naturally gifted fighter.
He's not even a villain, though, so it's not like it matters who won that fight. He just wanted to see a SSJ god and then go back to sleep. The movie had more in common with original Dragonball than Z.
>Broly is never gonna be canon
thats what dragonball really needs a TRUE SSJ to come out, be the final boss and slap everybodys shit
his story was stupid but god damn he was badass
but can he beat Saitama?
It really depends if he lowers his guard or not.
Not a chance, even Beers and his teacher can beat Saitama. Arale can though, she's the strongest in Toriyama verse by a wide margin.
not like the greatest god among the gods presented, Kaioshin, was just fodder compared to the Z team before that.
Can't take him seriously, too goddamn silly
Was I the only one annoyed by the fact that any of their hits should have destroyed the earth ? Let's not even talk about the hundred of the kikohos they used.
for more than a decade
I really liked that movie. It felt refreshing to know there are still stronger entities than Goku in the Dragonball universe. The road towards being the strongest was always more important to Goku than being the strongest.
I hope Toriyama does more Dragonball movies every few years or something. Don't overdo it, just give us something once in a while.
Hey guys, remember when Frieza was supposed to be the strongest being in the universe.
Why the hell would Beerus even give a bit of shit about someone who beated Frieza when he lolstomped a SSJ3 ? This movie simply makes no sense.
Toriyama handed in a draft, but changed it later on, because he thought it was too edgy.
The one time the moie is actually canon.
Also, who gives a shit. BeerisBills for you WEEBs was a good enough antagonist to act as the villain to get Goku admit defeat.
If you want to bitch anything in this movie OP. How about the out of character Veggie dance.
>out of character
It was tanoshii~ bingo or Bloomers' party is shit.
Vegetable went for the bingo.
Beerus said it right in the movie, Goku got stronger just from being a god for such a short amount of time.
Pardon my ignorance. Who is Saitama and what is he from?
Read it, it's great
Just wait for the storm to arrive when Xenoverse is released and Bills, Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Goku all make it in the roster.
(Thanks to datamining, GT is pretty much confirmed)
the webcomic or the remake?
I'll start right away
The remake, then you can continue with the webcomic. The latter doesn't have every first chapters translated anyway.
>Well, that and Toriyama has confirmed that SSJ2 and 3 have less long term benefits compared to SSJ1
I don't even know if his credibility is legit
>Well, that and Toriyama has confirmed...
i wouldn't take anything that guy says at face-value, he is old and hasn't been in the game for decades
I really liked Beerus, who else likes Beerus?
reminder that i come in and shit on hundreds of episodes worth of power storylines
He is a celestial god. It trumps everything else.
Why do people still care about DB verse anyways? It's like faggots who cite Shakespeare for good writing. Like okay sure, influential? You bet. Would you still read that shit today for enjoyment? Maybe if you were a colossal faggot.
I wanna kiss him
Beerus was the best DBZ villain behind Freeza. For sure.
>Would you still read that shit today for enjoyment? Maybe if you were a colossal faggot.
Nigga you stupid.
Hopefully some Dragonball people are in too.
The guy didn't even remember what SSJ3 is. I doubt that's true.
I think datamining revealed the Power Pole, but I might've just heard it as a rumour
take it easy on then edge there
>Well, that and Toriyama has confirmed that SSJ2 and 3 have less long term benefits compared to SSJ1.
The guy forgot that the manga he wrote ended with Gohan as the most powerful non-fusion character in the universe, and made him give less of a fight than Vegeta and non-god Goku in this new movie.
He's old and keeps forgetting shit he wrote. Take stuff he says with a grain of salt.
