>Three best idols holding hands

Anyways, how good are those numbers compared to other late night anime movies?
>>
>>115263999
Not exactly great (Nanoha movies sold ~90k while K-On sold ~110k iirc; Madoka reaching 150k), but pretty solid for what it is.
>>
>>115263999
Good. Far from Madoka/K-ON! level but those are at the very top. We'll also have to see how big is its tail. I don't expect much but who knows.

I'm watching the movie right now, and this is the most paintful rotoscoping scene that i watch on anime (worse than aku no hana)
>>
>>115264042
On the other hand Anohana sold 34k despite doing 1,040M in cinemas.
Tiger&Bunny did 619M and sold 28k.
Steins;Gate 560M, 34k
UBW 280M, 59k

For comparison, 765 pro made 765M in cinemas and 70k in discs. Keep in mind it should end up above 80k.

It lost to three Madoka, two Nanoha, K-ON! and Haruhi.

Not counting Eva, Macross, Gundam, FMA, Gintama and One Piece because they're mainstream and ait in evening or morning.
>>
I would rotoscope Chihaya if you know what I mean

Damn, I didn't want rotoscope in my iM@S. I always praised it for having the best hand drawn dancing. How are concerts?

but the movie was terrible except for the final 5 minutes which was the live stage

You have to understand how Stalker works. Only amazon posts reliable ranking data but anime sell in other places as well. Stalker grabs the hourly ranking data from amazon and based on past sales data estimates sales of new showsThat's why if a show is stonger on amazon and weaker at other stores than average anime, it will be overestimated.

>>115265439
I wishi PriPara would join them. But selling ~1k is still a nice surprise for this kind of kids show.
>>
How did Nozaki-kun sell so good?
>>
>>115265503
People liked it because it's good.
Nips praised it mostly for maintaining high level of comedy and sakuga throughout whole season. They really like right balance their animu. Not surprising considering they're buying six discs, 2 episodes each. You want all of them to be equally good to spend $70 six times.
>>
>>115265470
Actually:
From somekindofthing's site:
>Rurumo v1 sells 318 BDs, DVDs do not rank. That is one dead show.
>DVDs do not rank
>>
>>115265470
>Last time I checked it aired in 2014.
Correct, but it's counted as Monogatari S2 which aired in Summer 2013. Check the official homepage, it's right there.
>>
>>115265503
The manga was popular, the show was good, so it gained more popularity and now even more people read the manga and bought the anime.
>>
>>115265579
A typo. He already corrected it.

>>115265634
It's a matter of preference for sales. It can be either:
1) Included as last part of Second Season
2) Counted on its own
3) Treated as TV special

Pretend it isn't in the list.
>>
>>115265409
Ah I see. Thanks
>>
>>115265706
Just checked and he didn't. Shame too, I've heard mostly good things about it. And it's by JC Staff too. I guess it just wasn't well-promoted?
>>
>>115265706
>It's a matter of preference for sales.
It really isn't. It's fact it's part of Monogatari S2, not a standalone like Nekomonogatari.
>>
>>115265742
All this attention whoring made you go blind. Pic related. Personal comments have always been low priority.

DVD estimate
>estimate
Top100 all-genre DVD is what we use most of the time. However there is also top300 list, just without sales. We get other lists too, depending on genre. For anime it's top30 but there are usually more anime in all-genre top100. For other genres, last ranker is often far below all-genre #100. Thanks to this, it's possible to make estimates based on other lists.
[data out of my ass]Let's say #10 concert sold 152 and ranked #247. Let's say Rurumo ranked #246. We can safely estimate Rurumo sales at 153 DVDs sold.[/dooma]

>>115265752
However with sales we care the most about the format something is released in so that they can be used to compare shows fairly.

Given that the DVD threshold was 368 discs, the only thing we know for sure is that it sold much less than that. Given that it only sold 388 BDs, I wouldn't be surprised if it only sold more or less 100 DVDs.

I think Rurumo lacks "I want to buy this show!" factor. It's a nice watch but nothing great. Art is bad, story isn't impressive. I don't know about extras. At least OP CD sold very well.

>>

It's still good sales for Tamako. 11,271 first week + it's out of stock. 15k overall is very possible, clear profit.
>>
>>115266152,2
LMAO UR WRONG KYOANUSLICKER HAHAHA.

Well it'll end up selling, at least, 3 times more than TV's v1. While it's still low for a movie it may be very profitable in the end because it's their own IP.
