what anime is this
Why can't real girls be as perfect as Rin?
what is happening here
So this is the power of the grail...woah...
I only see a red and a white flower. I don´t understand, OP.
Does Saber have blue or green eyes?
that scene was dick-exploding if you ignore the writing
TOHSAKA RIN PLEASES OLD MEN FOR MONEY
Is there any good reason I should go through the visual novel rather than just watching the animated series?
What a fucking slut. how much does she ask for?
Rin is perfect. This is a fact.
Yes. You get to watch Rin go down on Saber.
Her eyes are green.
You'd only be watching 1/3 of the whole story. Or 2/3 but that extra 1/3 is really bad.
Who's to say it won't be in the anime?
Because that sex scene only happens in Fate
The sex bullshit is one of the reasons I dislike it in the first place.
So, you're telling me to suffer through longer content in a medium I don't enjoy in the first place.
Where exactly is the good reason in this?
you should read the VN so you don't come across as an idiot in these threads
Should I read fate/stay night first or fate/zero?
Why are you so buttflustered?
Is this the new Sakura fish?
Japanese can't tell the difference.
Because you're an idiot who can only respond to being called out with insults.
The Visual Novel is superior, and contains the complete story. If you are not reading the Visual Novel, then you have not really experienced Fate/Stay Night.
Nobody is telling you to do anything. You're not so important that everybody is waiting for you to get into Fate. Feel free to fuck off if reading is too much of a hassle for you.
I don't care but don't go into fate threads asking retarded questions
Fate/Zero is a prequel intended to be read after F/SN.
While your responses to other people are rude, I'll give you the reason.
Fate Stay / Night the game contains 3 stories.
Story 1: "Fate" was shittily adapted by Studio Deen. The anime pales in comparison to the VN. It accomplishes a lot of the exposition and basic backstory.
Story 2: "Unlimited Blade Works" looks like it's going to be a good adaptation. However, a part of the reason the story was good is that it used all of the exposition from the first story and was able to go in another direction. The anime may get hampered down by having to go through all the exposition. There was also previously a horribly mediocre adaptation of it.
Story 3: "Heaven's Feel" It's really unlikely they can successfully adapt this given their time constraints.
So... you're basically only getting 1/3rd of the story. If you don't like the story... don't watch the anime to begin with period. If you like the story a lot, the VN is the place to get the full story.
The only current downside is that UBW sort of spoils mysteries of the Fate route, but that's not really that big of an issue.
It can be awkward to step outside of your comfort zone. If you've never tried a visual novel before, you could potentially enjoy them for the VOs and animations while reading along. It's also got music and backgrounds.
A lot of it will focus on internal monologue and the insights the main character has. I also like how the narrative shifts when you take on a different character's perspective.
The Tiger Dojo endings are fun and will not be animated. Also the bad/dead ends reveal additional foreshadowing and information such as how Shirou is made of swords.
But more importantly you get the full scale of the story from reading the source material. Fate/Stay Night in its entirety examines Emiya Shirou as a character, what makes him tick, and how he adapts to different circumstances that may reinforce or challenge his need to peruse his ideals. By exclusively watching the anime, you will miss out core themes that are explored in the other routes.
