I've never disliked a main character in an anime more than this one. The hikikomori thing doesn't bother me; it's his mistreatment (or lack of thereof) of a cute girl who is in emotional need. Motherfucker.
read the manga instead. the girl's a shithead, but the anime doesn't show it nearly as well.
The manga is pretty much a horror story. How the characters didn't kill themselves yet is a mystery.
its like how the people on 4chan keep posting but if they ever stopped to look at themselves they would probobally off themselves after relising how dull and meaningles their lives truly are
... I think I need to go find my sleeping pills
Is there a lot of difference in the manga? I only watched the anime a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Might pick up the manga if it goes into the story a little more.
Oh hi, welcome to YEARS ago.
read the novel
in the manga, the motherfucker is less of a stupid fuck?
Haha, that's what I'm wondering.
I'm on it captain.
What is better about it than the manga?
Misaki isn't so innocent.
But oh would I make love to her so.
Have to say, I think the way he handled everything wasn't just socially inept, it was psychopathic.
I think the misunderstanding between the common western "NEET" type we have on 4chan that we seem to familiarise with these types of characters is that our society is very different.
In that these types are people with heavy psych issues, in Japan, and they don't get help for it in Japan. What was that thing I read..... no psychologists in japan or whatever? kids basically rely on family and peers to get them through shit and if they can't they generally just go bonkers.
You have to relate a guy like this to that of the columbine shooters but in a different category. The extremes they are in are comparable.
It was annoying to watch him do stupid shit over and over. but if you see it that way, it helps convince you that you didn't completely waste 10 hours watching this.
The fuck? He had enough of his own problems, how would he even know she was in emotional need?
>it's his mistreatment (or lack of thereof) of a cute girl who is in emotional need.
do you actually think someone in his condition is able to support someone else emotionally?
I didn't like him too, but only because of his low powerlevels, though he couldn't be the protagonist for this story otherwise
Yeah, from what I got from the anime, this guy was an agoraphobe or something. It wasn't that he was too lazy to leave, or too selfish, but he had a terrible mental disorder. If it wasn't so funny, it would have been sad.
It has much more impact than the manga. If you think Satou is pathetic and disgusting in the manga, you need to read the novel.
That little bitch deserved it, man up FAGGOT.
I think I'll take a look, thanks for the info.
Also the part where Satou become a lolicon was lot more hilarious in the manga.
"You want to play with big brother?"
"I'll give you candy."
"Just lift up your skirt."
"Let's play doctor."
"Here's your shot."
What's this from?
