Hi /a/, I wasn't quite sure what board to post this in, so I went straight to the source.

I haven't watched much anime, and any of it probably being more western styles. For example I've watched the first series of GitS: S.A.C, the GitS movies, Cowboy Bebop + movie, Akira, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, 3 or 4 Studio Ghibli movies as well as several other movies.

I was wondering if /a/ could suggest some series or more movies I could check out, as I've really enjoyed all the films I've watched so far, as I've no idea what to check out next.

Thanks! (:

Check out Black Lagoon.

Not Sci Fi like the ones you listed but god damn it is full of action.

I enjoyed 5 centimeters per second, try that.
Also, you may consider yourself a newbie but I hadn't even watched any anime when I first started lurking /a/.
Now I'm into hundreds of series. Fuck you /a/.

OP here, just remembered I had watched Black Lagoon, really enjoyed that as well.

I keep forgetting what I've watched until people mention it :|.

I feel like being nice and giving you good advice. You've seen pretty much what's considered standard watching. Now just look for the kind of thing you actually know you'd like. Try comedy, Try scifi. Try horror. Just try a bunch of stuff that sounds good to figure out what you like.
You can learn about shows just by lurking here and many other places. But don't ask for random suggestions based on basically nothing. Ask for comedy, ask for romance, ask for scifi. Be specific FFS.

OP Here, I'd have to say I'm probably more into the non-action based things that I've seen, or ones with less action. I really enjoyed The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and the Studio Ghibli movies.

I'm not sure what you'd stick them movies under, it'd probably help if I knew what genre they would be classed under.

(Oh and I don't really care about what setting it's in, the story is what interests me more really).
