What the fuck, Osamu Tezuka was a furfag? Has internet overexposure completely raped my brain so everything seems incredibly disturbing to me now? I know even Animaniacs did this shit and animu's filled with 10% catgirls and all that, but this movie is still fucking creepy. Especially since it's done by the guy behind Astro Boy.

seriously, this is the creepiest shit ever. And I've seen graphic gore videos without being even mildly disturbed.

No Anon, you are the furfags.

No anon, he INVENTED furfaggotry, just like he invented fucking everything.
I figured out he's a furfag when I read Ode to Hirihito about people turning into dogs.
And I realized he'd a pedo when I read Astro Boy.
But I'm willing to forgive him, he's still a damn good writer.
>>
>>What the fuck, Osamu Tezuka was a furfag?

Was Disney a furry for making Mickey Mouse? What about Pluto? Tom and Jerry? Or maybe Miyazaki is for The Cat Returns. Anthropomorphism has been around forever, it's nothing new.

Furthermore the second sentence on Wikipedia goes a long way to explain:
>>It was written by Osamu Tezuka as a critique of the Japanese government's approval of recombinant DNA research that year.

>>done by the guy behind Astro Boy.
Yeah, just some dude right?
>>
>>11276403

I hope that's sarcasm otherwise I raged a little.
>>
>>11276408
The fact that he's the most influential anime director and manga author ever only makes it worse.
>>11276403
People turning into dogs isn't necessarily furry and astro boy is only pedo if you're a shota fag, but this had an obviously sexualized anthropomorphic character

so did Tom & Jerry, but this seems infinitely worse for some reason. I feel like a furfag for having read and enjoyed Black Jack now. Is that logic even remotely rational?
>>
>>11276501

If you can't ignore the furry characters and enjoy the story, that would suggest that you are a furry.
>>
>>11276501

No, you're not being rational at all. In fact you're failing really hard. Osamu Tezuka is not a furry. They didn't even have furries back then. Just quit while you're behind.
>>
>>11276501
Yeah, but then the dog-people had sex scenes with both humans and dogs.
And there were quite a few inexplicable moments in Astro Boy. Just watch the first episode where Astro brings a little boy-robot back to life by plugging his plug into the little boy's bare ass, who goes "LOL IT TICKLES!"
Just one of a million moments like that in Astro Boy.
But like I said, I don't hold it against him anyway.
>>
Per the wikipedia page you linked: It was written by Osamu Tezuka as a critique of the Japanese government's approval of recombinant DNA research that year.

It was a critique against fucking around with DNA. He was anti-furry and didn't want to see it become a reality.

>Kirihito Sanka (Ode to Kirihito), 1970–1971. This series is about a heroic young doctor (Kirihito Osanai) and his efforts to cure a strange disease that deforms its victims so that they look like dog-people. He becomes infected with the disease himself and is led on a wild odyssey around the world as he is kidnapped and maltreated by the ignorant and the curious, meeting strange allies and stranger foes. Meanwhile, back in Japan, his fiancee and a mentally unstable colleague attempt to locate him while his mentor, a nationally respected doctor, stakes his reputation on an incorrect analysis of the disease's cause. Serialized in Biggu Komikku, translated into English as Ode to Kirihito and published by Vertical in 2006. 822 pages.

hey, at least Ode to Kirihito portrays anthropomorphism as a disease. Great example to follow.

This is bound to happen to someone who used to be a regular reader of Somethingawful's front page for years.

>Yeah, but then the dog-people had sex scenes with both humans and dogs.
...okay, I'm seriously considering giving up animu as a whole, seeing as Tezuka was obviously a furry and he influenced almost every anime out there.
>>11276630
But... just look at the OP screen.

Where does this meme come from anyways?

That is one sexy Mewtwo.
>>
So he basically approved of dog fucking in Ode to Kirihito by fetishizing it or was it still portrayed in a negative light?

Not exactly, it's about intolerance in general. The dog-man faces intolerance everywhere he goes and Tezuka is using it as a metaphor that people shouldn't be intolerant to people who are just different.
It couldn't be more pro-furry. At least the sex scenes really aren't that graphic at all. And so far every one I've seen has been rape, the dog-people didn't actually want to have sex with anything. In one scene, it was some human girl who trapped the dog-man and forced him to have sex with her. And in the other, some people forced him in a freak show to have sex with a dog. So it was always rape.
But I confess I'm only halfway through the series.
>>
>>11276828
That sounds incredibly fucked up.
>>
>>11276828
>It couldn't be more pro-furry.
Ok, I guess Tezuka really DID approve of animal fucking. Since Japan's entire animation industry was influenced by such a sick retard, I feel like a furfag for having enjoyed so much anime.
