BitTorrent is shitty and really fucking slow. Isn't there some other way to watch my shit? I've been doing this torrent crap for years now and I'm pretty fucking sick of it.

Steal anime from niggers.

This is why I'm a buyfag.

Buy a premium account at Megaupload like real men do.

Veoh
>>
Who the fuck uses BitTorrent?
>>
People who've been putting up with torrents for years are used to it. The rage doesn't build up, it starts out high and slowly goes down. Newfag.

I use it for downloading whole seasons or series.

is this a newfag-bait thread?

Nobody uses Bitorrent dumbfuck. Use Azereus (my fav) or utorrent.
It's probably you, not the torrents.

I use uTorrent, force of habit from the old days I guess. Still shitty.

Quite a number of people

As a college student I download anime from other people through DC++. I get 700kbs typically.

You can also download at 300kbs from IRC.

Currently I'm at home from spring break and torrenting some of the stuff I couldn't find on DC++ or IRC (KAA's rip of Black Lagoon specifically).

There's also direct download from sites like baka-wolf.com I've gotten 400kbs from that site before, but it can be slow sometimes (and only offers limited selection).

Megaupload is another option. anime-sensei.net is an example of a site that collects anime megaupload links. Megaupload has a set of problems as well as limited choice, but it does the job eventually.

Of course you could always buy/rent the DVDs as well if there's some old licensed shit you want to watch ^^

And here's how to get your stuff via irc, which is probably one of the best methods overall.

Torrents, for me, are an absolute last resort. There are much easier and quicker ways to get content (in order): FTP, IRC, DDL, and Crunchyroll. Yes, Crunchyroll. With new H.264 support, you can rip stuff from there without having to put up with adverts or such, and have a negligible difference in quality.
>>
Getting slow DL speeds on torrents just means you don't know how to use them. In other words, you're doing it wrong.

Not necessarily.
