I don't know. If Chao had pulled that off, wouuldn't it be like erasing herself out of existence. Why would you blast your own ancestor knowing you may cease to exist?
>>

She can't since if Chao dissapears, then she wouldn't have existed to set up that master plan, and in effect be unable to do that to Negi, allowing Negi to continue the bloodline until Chao is born.

Why would you pick that out of all pictures to troll about shounen manga?

Predestination paradox. Chao already knows Negi won't die.
>>
Chao planned it perfectly.
>>
If she did change the past, then it would/could affect her future, thus negating a reason for the previous Chao to go back in time to change that future. Or she found a way so that it would not affact her previous self before travelling in time.

Needs a fucking awesome animation staff as well as VAs that could recite the goddamn spells fast enough.

Needs to be faithfully animated.

GONZO?

I can't believe Chao using fire as her element was supposed to be a foreshadow to Negi going dark. That's the kind of forethought I'd never expect out of Akamatsu.

Eiichiro Oda, maybe. But Akamatsu? He's really come far as a writer.
