he's not molesting her, how is that realistic
Why are there so little of high resolution images?
this is far too easy to troll
... why no subs? ...
Fuckers. Countering faggotry with awesome.
what is in his nose?
You mean Japanese girls can't really be blonde!?!?
Holy shit, Umi ga Kikoeru spoilers. Although, if you haven't deduced what would happen by the end of the film then kill yourself.
You must have been expecting this to blow up in your face.
"and then I realized I was always crazy about her"
Took far too long to be posted

Probably one of the most realistic anime characters Ive seen
Artbook called Takamichi Art Works.
/r/ more series/movies/anime with realistic characters/story
Aw, I thought that was my waifu, Miu, for a second there.
Grave of the Fireflies
Mimi wo Sumaseba
>Grave of the Fireflies
I don't think so, Tim.
Watch Only Yesterday instead.
You have to be kidding.
GotF is a melodramatic soap-opera. Disappointing Takahata flick was disappointing.
(Kidding about Grave of the Fireflies not being realistic that is -- not anything against Only Yesterday.)
Are you saying GotF is superior to Only Yesterday?
Has no nose. Shitty artstyle.
Millenium Actress (it plays a lot with jumping between fantasy and reality but the characters themselves are pretty believable. But then you've probably already seen it. Same thing with Tokikake).
>>GotF is a melodramatic soap-opera.
Well, it tries WAY TOO HARD TO BE SAD to be actually sad or believable. Compared to the more subtle, art-nouveau inspired, Takahata it's disappointing.
I don't think you understand the definition of melodramatic, as Grave of the Fireflies was certainly not comedic or action orientated. Besides, it was nothing about it being good or not, but it was about it being realistic.
I certainly found it to be a plausible story. What wasn't believable about it? Besides, how are you determining something 'tries too hard'?
Thanks, also never watched movie in OP dling right now.
Any TV series/manga? the only "realistic" romance i know is Living game, Yume de aetara and Maison ikkoku.
Honey & Clover
Talking about it's dramatic timing or compassionate dialog writing in here.
Holy shit, I use 'besides' a lot.
Also, Kimagure Orange Road... well, not the series, considering how the main character is an esper, but its finale movie, I Want to Return to That Day, is in my opinion one of the most realistic possible outcomes there could be to a love triangle.
I can't argue with you, as I haven't watched it in a few years and, therefore, I can't pass judgment on 'dramatic timing' or 'compassionate dialog'.
>Kimagure Orange Road.
the manga had such an incredibly shitty ending
It's not exactly abyssal on its own. Compared to the movie, though, I have to agree: it just plain doesn't measure up.
