/a/ what is the best media player to watch animu on?
I have been using this but lately I hate it
it comes with MPC...that is all you need
MPC + CCCP + Vista 64 Codecs.
CCCP, thread over
I like it.
mpc or vlc
shit sucks gtfo ;_;
SAGE for VLShit
VLC HIJACK LOL
The KMPlayer: no external codecs required, and it doesn't give your screenshots retarded names.
CCCP is shit. Use mPlayer.
Lol, wow. just wow.
She's going to end up downright mordorous from that.
oh... I didn't realize before clicking
KMPlayer for life
does mplayer actually have a gui on windows? i use linux so I wouldn't really know.
mpc + ffdshow > *
I think so; the macfag version does
anyway mplayer is the best
Yes there is, but you can also use a command line
Now I've seen everything.
Yeah. It looks like the GTK mplayer skin.
Two things I don't like about it: screenshots are delayed by a couple of frames (what's saved isn't necessarily the same as what's on the screen), and it doesn't allow you to go to an exact frame by fast forwarding... I'm not sure how to articulate this. Basically it has saved benchmarks for a video every 5-10 seconds or so, so you can't skip to a point in between those benchmarks. Maybe there's a way to fix this, but I don't know of it.
Otherwise, yes, it's a great player, and I use it all the time.
What format are you saving to?
Media Player Classic
It plays fucking everything.
Usually right click > capture > quick capture
Even when I pause it, it's still off by a bit. Maybe it's just my machine.
Try pausing and staying paused until the yellow text disappears. That usually works for me.
Zoom player. Takes a fair bit of configuring, but you can get it to work EXACTLY THE WAY YOU WANT.
As long as you don't want it to suck your dick or anything absurd.
Media Player Classic.
When you've got the codecs for it, yeah. MPlayer plays shit without installing codecs. This is useful in a school or office environment when codecs or video players cannot be installed. Mplayer requires no installation procedure.
