PITCH ME AN IDEA FOR AN ALL NEW JAPANESE ANIMATION OR 'MANE-GUH' THAT'LL APPEAL TO OUR AUDIENCE OF YOU'RE FIRED
Cute girls, doing cute things.
One about jobs! Plain and simple shit, yoh! You want unexployed people to watch Annie May work in a fast food restaurant or at a railroad company, go!
Takes place in a modern setting similar to our own. The world is being threatened by a great evil and only one group of young heroes are capable of defeating it.
Unfortunately, there are two groups of heroes and no one seems to know which one is the chosen group destined to save the world.
One group is a team of magical girls. They fight with magical artifacts and their powers are fueled by love.
The other group is a group of all-male super sentai-inspired fighters. They use martial arts and technology and their powers are fueled by their determination and belief in justice.
The two groups have to deal with one another as often as they deal with the evil forces they're both battling. Both are convinced that only they can save the world. This complicates things when it begins to become clear who their secret identities are. Some of them develop romance one another, two of them are discovered to be brother and sister.
It's an absurd comedy with lots of action and parody of 'magical girl' and 'super sentai' male/female superheroes.
The magical girls listen to the orders of a fuzzy, magical mascot animal creature. The guys listen to a scientist who transplanted his memories and personality into an enormous supercomputer.
In the end, it turns out the prophecy is bullshit and the mascot and scientist just have a long-running bet to see who's team is better.
cute monstergirls doing cute things
Only if the guys do shit like this.
And give it a retro aesthetic. Make the characters look like they're from the early 90s of anime.
We do an Evangelion live-action.
1800's in China.
Cute British colonial business tycoons doing cute capitalist things, like getting the locals hooked on opium, selling weapons to rebels, and crushing the local government beneath their cute shoes.
Who is our audience?
10/10 would watch
Though that will obviously never happen as it does not focus on one easy target audience. Instead it tries to go for two of them and investards will fear (maybe correctly) that it will appeal to neither.
Holy shit, I love this.
Is there a Truth VS Ideals subplot? I don't think my dick will be able to handle that.
Animated Don Quixote.
his companion can be a girl if you want
At least 24 episodes or it's a mess
>2 of them are discovered to be brother and sister
Just whatever innocent implications might you be implying, anon?
That Magical Scorpio and G-SOLDIER White just happen to have a healthy life at home when they're bitter enemies on the battlefield.
I had an idea pretty similar to that which is unfortunate because now it'll probably look too close to be a coincidence.
2 childish rival spirits trying to win an argument over human nature set their sights on a typical highschool.
One appears as a friendly fairy offering several carefree girls the opportunity to become mahou shoujo and fight evil.
The other appears to a delinquent gang of longtime friends and offers them power to do as they please now unrestrained by the law.
Daily lives from respective points of view are a casual enough Slice of Life for the girls with interaction similar to Akira for the boys.
Soon enough as planned they come into conflict with their fights doing severe damage to the city and their loved ones with some of them are left hesitant to continue their new lives, to make matters worse romance eventually starts developing between a few of them to the point that both sides want to go back to their old lives and start a relationship.
The rest of the girls meaning well try to protect their friends while the boys are forced to come to terms with growing apart as some go mad with power and despair forcing their friends to put them down.
At the very end the survivors discover everything was all just a game and the spirits could care less about them as they casually return to their realm for a nap while they stand in the ruined city.
Main themes are growing up and order VS chaos.
Not too good in comparison, is it? Seems a bit too edgy and clichè.
It could just be a manga.
If it becomes a smash hit outside of Japan it might get one eventually anyways.
A 24 episode season of MD Geist murdering every living thing on Jerra. Then travelling to the galactic supercapital and murdering everything there as well.
>Not making Don Quixote a girl
