Why the fuck are there *so* many yaoi mangas being translated while so many other awesome shows are left intact? are there that many faggots reading manga?

everytime i check the new releases theres always a shit load of yaoi titles

go work on some untranslated seinen you faggots
>>
it's because of the fujoshi you retard
>>
Shit sells, who knew?

The best selling translated mango is Naruto.
>>
It's ungrateful faggots like you that keep me from translating. You should be lucky we do anything at all, fucking brat.
>>
>>10230253
durrrrr
>>
>>10230253

how about you translate something with a plot and not yaoi trash. or do you have no taste.
>>
Actually, it's women that read yaoi.

Same thing as yuri, almost only guys read it.
>>
>>10230253
>It's ungrateful faggots like you that keep me from translating

bwahahaha then don't do it you fucking faggot you'd probably work on some shitty fucking manga that a whole 12 faggots out there would read
>>
>>10230258

Yuri has a fairly large female audience in Japan. Women love "S-type" stories because it reminds them of their own high school days and sends them on nostalgia trips.
>>
>>10230253
Translate something worthwhile, jackass. There's 8 volumes of REC manga, get to work.
>>
>are there that many faggots reading manga?
This may surprise you, but girls like manga/anime too.
>>
>>10230242
shit sucks gtfo ;_;shit sucks gtfo ;_;shit sucks gtfo ;_;
>>
>>10230272
REC is fucking shit, get some taste.
>>
>>10230270
1) Source or GTFO
2) S-type?
>>
>>10230273
Yes, the four ladies who looked like they just swallowed some tubs of lard putting their greasy fingers in the FMA volumes at my local bookstore.

Still, kill the yaoi already.
>>
>>10230253
Guess what? If nobody translated anime or manga or whatever, Anon would be less ronery and might have done more productive things...

Who am I kidding, Anon will always be useless.
>>
>>10230281
REC is awesome for the sole fact they get laid the first episode

what other romance anime has that shit?
>>
>>10230305
None! Also REC is hot.
>>
>>10230289
> Source or GTFO

are you serious? have you ever been to an anime con? it's not like this is a intranational thing
>>
>>10230305
Just because it plays out your fantasies doesn't make it good.
>>
>>10230305
Bible Black
>>
>>10230321
Where did you get that wrong-headed notion?
>>
>>10230300
That doesn't really constitute being a valid source. Also, no, I have never been to a con. Maybe if one exists where retards dressed up as Naruto/Bleach characters didn't show up I might consider it, but the chances of that happening are very unlikely.

Also I was always under the impression that Japan haet lesbians.
>>
>>10230386

Have you ever read yuri before?

It's actually more 'cute' than it is 'erotic' in most cases.

http://strays.vnmanga.com/releases/sketch/%5BStrays%5DSketch.zip

That would be a good first.
>>
>>10230321
if I wanted to play out my fantasies

I'd watch Bible Black

I like that fact about REC because they don't take 31204038150947012 episodes being undecisive hesistant retards where in they end they kiss and credits roll
>>
>>10230443
There's no point to sex if there's no build up. If anything, it's an example of what NOT to do in a romance series.
>>
>>10230424
>Have you ever read yuri before?

Yes. I can safely say that I have read/seen my fair share of yuri series before. Also link doesn't work.
>>
>>10230480

Hm?

try doing it manually.

http://strays.vnmanga.com/

"sketch" on the far right side.
>>
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=17190

who..who the fuck is going to read this shit why

dont translate shit if you're just going to be working on bullshit like this
>>
>>10230530
There we go, that works. Thanks, I'm reading it now.
>>
>>10230465
>>There's no point to sex if there's no build up. If anything, it's an example of what NOT to do in a romance series.

PROTIP: this is how it works outside anime

Shit sucks GTFO

Start translating something good and perhaps you'll get less flames.

You might know Japanese but it doesn't mean you're not a fucking idiot.
>>
Zetsubou Shita!!!
>>
>>10230891
I think there's a misunderstanding here. See, you seem to think I give a shit.
>>
>>10231006
Quick to jump on the defense though.
>>

lolno

1. There's more shounen, shoujo, and hentai releases than yaoi ones on any given day. If you're going to bitch at fujoshi, bitch at the rest as well. One thing, I give the fujoshi
though that they know what to run a tight ship, maybe out of 50 or so groups, only 10 of them actively put stuff out. Yuri is still pretty small in Japan with only three anthologies that I can remember and the biggest yuri scanlator, Lilicious, is pretty fucking slow (and also refuses to one any of one of anthologies because it was aimed only for men).

If you're seeing alot of yaoi releases on a certain day, it's usually because it's a special day like today, which is White Day.

2. People will only translate what they're interested in. Seriously, you think Spore would've done all those chapters of Vinland Saga if he hated/was indifferent from it? No. If you seriously want to fucking read the manga, go take some moon classes. Like it or not, translators are not obligated to translate what you want. I personally refuse to translate anything other than doujinshis (Although I did think about translating Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei at one time but my weeaboo levels is too low for that fucking shit and I would miss 80% of the references). Shit sucks, but that's how life goes.
>>
Mah goodness looks like gundam 00 in OP.
>>
I blame women. Too many chubby yaoi fangirls in these here states.
>>
>>10230242
Enormous, sweaty, retarded fangirls, i.e. the only one's who'd go anywhere near this shit, are the largest constituents when it comes to companies actually making money off of weeaboos.
They're doing what makes money, i.e., pissing me off.
>>
>>10230270
>Women love "S-type" stories because it reminds them of their own high school days and sends them on nostalgia trips.
>it reminds them of their own high school days
>Yuri
You're projecting your fantasies onto reality again, Anon.
>>
>>10232060
>>They're doing what makes money, i.e., pissing me off.

Wait, what?

PROTIP: All mango are made to make money.

This irrational hatred of fujoshi never fails to amuse me though.
>>
>>10232095
Nobody explained to me wtf s-type is supposed to be.
>>
>>10233109
S-type, is like what most of the relationships in MariMite is. It's a "more than friends, less than lovers" type relationship. A type of intimate platonic loves that usually depicted as pure.
>>
>>10233205
It's not "S" as opposed to "M"?
>>
i'm downloading yaoi right now :3
>>
Sage for literal faggotry.
>>
sauce on op looks pretty hot ^_________^
>>
>It's not "S" as opposed to "M"?

It's "S" as in "Sucks".
>>
>>10233893
no, sugoi ^___~
>>
>>10233869

I concur.
