Holy shit is there anyone who could beat this nigga?
I reckon he could even beat Takamura, despite being much lighter than him
>>
Ippo is going to beat him sooner or later
>>

It's unfair to match up people from different weightclasses. Takamura will beat the shit out of him through sheer power.

Also, Ippo will probably lose his first bout against him and it'll be a trilogy. At least that's what I'm hoping for. Beating him for the first match would be pretty unrealistic and not to mention there will be ass pulls.
>>
Aoki can beat him.
>>
Eiji would have beaten him if he hadn't broke his hand

>Also, Ippo will probably lose his first bout against him and it'll be a trilogy.

More like he'll just beat him on the second try. Ippo hardly ever loses. And never more than once. Because he's gotta be the 'comeback kid' who 'wins by sheer endurance'.

He may even simply have him win the first time as a revenge arc for Date.

>I reckon he could even beat Takamura
Nah
>>
Eh, Ippo is not doing bad right now with his Chinese knock-off version.

Yeah, he is doing just good

I believe that the author stated that Takamura was the strongest boxer in the series, with Mexican guy as number 2 (pound for pound), but that might be switched around. Miata was in the top 5, and Ippo was like 11 or so.

Are RL Japanese boxers really that strong?
>>
>>102296851
No, they used to be pretty good at MMA but only a few japs really stand out now.
>>
>>102296851
Boding is dominated by Americans (North and South) for the most part
>>
>>102296851
No, Boxing has always been dominated by whites and Mexicans, though there are a few black boxers that have really stood out before.
>>
>>102296851
Of course they are. Superior japanese muscles are folded over 10000 times

My dad works at Morikawa, and he says that Kimura will become featherweight and beat him in the ending of the manga. Allso ippo will die in a car accident.
>>
>>102296851
No they're considered weak, although there are some decent asian MMA fighters out there that contend in the UFC and shit.

Go to a KLK thread and ask "Are RL high school girls really that strong?"
>>
>>102297786
>implying they're not
>>
>>102296775
Bullshit, Ippo is stronger than Miyata

I wish Aoki and Kimura won some fights
They remind me of that Dick van Dyke and that walrus from Kinnikuman
>>
>>102296851
They are good in the lighter classes.
>>
>>102298446
Ippo is weaker than a lot of people, only he's got NIPPON SPIRIT CHALLENGER POWER which lets him overcome any hurdle.
>>
>>102299594
Well, he's also got an excellent coach to tell him to PUNCH HARDER
>>
>>102299636
Let's not forget that he has OXYGEN IN HIS ARMS. Boy what I wouldn't give to have that.
