>...so that we can asspull them back to life later on if we feel like it.
>the only thing shown is the blood spatter
Take your shit taste and fuck off back to /tv/.
>gun pointed at head of character
>trigger getting pulled
>change scene to outside the building
>Character killed just because
I thought that was something that only happened in Western cartoons? I always thought that was weird when I was watching cartoons as a little kid, like they'd have someone get beat-up offscreen or something, and I would always think why didn't they just show us what was happening? It's not like we don't know.
Never watch The Wire, OP.
>death via explosion
>the body mysteriously disappears without a trace
>at their own funeral
Bad to worse to awesome.
>fade to black
>it can't be helped
Who had an off--- oh...
At least 50% of the deaths in The Wire are offscreen. Sometimes - SOMETIMES - major characters are spared the indignity.
At least you knew that they were definitely dead. Nobody who died off-screen came back.
And the on-screen deaths more than made up for it, in my opinion. Wallace, Stringer Bell, D'Angelo, Snoop... good shit.
