Bought a new Full-HD IPS monitor.

Watched stuff in 1080p...

My jaw dropped.

Now the question is, is it worth to download everything 1080p now?

It looks so fucking good.

No anime is native 1080p, its always upscaled 720p

TV recorded anime in 1080p looks so much better, welcome to the club OP

Exception is KyoAni's newer stuff, although that's something inbetween.

I can't really tell the difference between 720 and 1080, so the smaller files do it for me

What about older stuff?

I already have Card Captor Sakura in 720p. Is it worth to re-download everything in 1080p?

It loooks fucking ugly when upscaled.

That's because your monitor sucks.

But an IPS, and the difference will be HUGE!

I don't care what faggots say about 1080p just being upscales, but when I watch 1080p anime on my tv, it looks so much better than its respective 720p version.

What's wrong with the colour in your screenshot?
