I'm usually not autistic or retarded enough to watch moe anime and give into the hipster hype that /a/ provides, but yuru yuri is something I can sit down to and watch with the niggas.
Why is this show consistently good?
>I'm usually not autistic or retarded enough to watch moe anime and give into the hipster hype that /a/ provides
Am I wrong though?
What are you babbling on about.
how can one OP be so wrong
I'm usually not autistic or retarded enough to watch anime with little girls and give into the hype that /a/ provides, but yuru yuri is something I can sit down to and watch with the niggas.
Is this better?
you seem to think having cute little girls is an indicator of bad anime, so no
I was broad with the subject, so it depends on how one would perceive any anime with cute girls is bad or not.
K-on was alright, but it seemed bland and the only thing keeping some of the appeal was the moe.
Yuru yuri has cute girls doing humorous things as it was consistent throughout the series.
But then again, this is through my experience
srs reponse because I'm in the same boat
I also have a hard time figuring out why I like this and not other anime with cute girls doing cute things
Despite the characters playing up to all the common stereotypes, I feel like they were written well because of the quality, or rather the existence, of their interactions
I find that a lot of other cute girls slice of life have characters talking about something or another, but there is rarely any conflict between particular members of that group. With YRYR we have SakuHima, AyaKyouko, Yui playing the quiet straight man while not being a boring sack of shit otherwise, China actively being evil, and pretty much everyone being a dick to Akari, along with a lot of other stuff I probably left out. It's still relaxing, but you never quite know what the girls will pull next, and that's why it's good imo.
I think you can just chalk it up to Namori being a genius. All other moe SoL just falls flat. I tried watching Yuyushiki last week; I couldn't stand the two autistic girls. Fucking dropped.
Have you read Oomuroke? It's fantastic.
Did you read Yuri Yuri? That's great too.
What makes it great is Namori. I, for one, welcome new smiling jellyfish overlord
I'm not much of a manga guy at all, so no, but I did start reading a bit of YRYR a few days ago and I believe I read the cow suit chapter of Oomuro-ke.
I'd be fine with Namori as God.
Ah well you're missing out.
