Am I supposed to know what this is?
If you would actually look at the picture OP posted, you'd see Yugioh cards, faggot.
Title is written in OP's picture many times.
>Sakaki Yuuya: Ono Kenshou
So new YGO protagonist will be voiced by guy who voiced Harry Potter in Japanese dub?
I like the sound of this series so far, and Yoshida isn't the series composer for once. And the director for 5D's is also back.
The story sounds kinda like a mashup between DM and GX, could be pretty interesting.
I wanted grimdark serious business like 5Ds not Zexal 2
Yuya sounds a little bit like a depressed fuck if that helps, from his character bio. Something about him always smiling and wanting to use dueling to entertain an audience to make up for 'harsh realities of life'.
GX did a better grimdark half than 5Ds and their dark signers. Deal with it
>long scarf instead of Kaiba coattails
Mixing things up, I see
Is this the tall rival?
Yoshida is currently focused on Zexal manga, so that's why he isn't involved in this.
>Yoshida isn't the series composer for once. And the director for 5D's is also back
Well fuck, I'm hyped.
>Yoshida isn't the series composer for once.
If we're "lucky", he will return in later episodes. Like in 5D's.
Pendulum summons suck dick.
Haha, time for broken as fuck XYZ time-till-next-banlist V2!
Don't jinx it before it even airs. I still wonder why 5D's first series composer up and left after just 26 eps.
Looking at ANN, the arc v series composer is also one of the 2 series composers for 2011 Hunter x Hunter. Man, I'm really hoping this show starts out as strong as 5D's did, fortune cup was a high point of the anime franchise.
YGO should pull a Digimon Tamers and hire Konaka for a show.
Do we actually know how the new mechanic works?
Kind of. The ygo org website has an explanation, but it's still a little vague and without many specifics. It uses a new type of pendulum monster that can be treated as a continuous spell card or as a regular monster card.
Will it be homo?
I like what I've read so far about this show.
>Finally got another series composer rather than just Yoshida again
>duels are again a higher energy spectator sport like in 5D's
>action duels and solid holograms
>the show has an excuse to place duels in stadiums with a fully interactive environment without leaping as far as the D-wheel concept
>rituals, synchros and fusions will be used instead of just xyz monsters all the fucking time
>MC has a different goal in wanting to be a top entertainer than the usual "#1 duelist"
>Female MC already knows how to duel
I hope the animation gets a little boost, too. 5D's had lower lows when it came to that, but also higher highs. In Zexal you can tell that even their most skilled animation director doesn't get to spend nearly as much time on a zexal episode compared to a 5D's ep.
>rituals, synchros and fusions will be used
It's basically GX in that the MC is going to a prep school for dueling, why wouldn't they finally bring back all the monster types in this series?
This basically confirms that Zexal is the alternate universe to YGO-GX-5D-Arc V timeline.
Why do I have a feeling that Arc-V will be rather another alternate universe.
There aren't any extra deck cards included in the first starter deck for this series, it's only 40 cards. The show might actually use shit like regular tribute boss monsters for once.
>The setting for the story is a city on the shoreline of Japan called "Maiami City". The development of their technology is mostly focused on Dueling.
>Akaba Reiji is the CEO of Leo Corporation. This company has developed something called "Solid Vision with Mass", and with its spread around Maiami City, "Action Duel" was born, and is widely popular all around the world.
>The children adore Pro Duelists like stars, and they learn the many ways of Dueling and Summoning in different cram schools like "Yuushuujuku" which the main character Sakaki Yuya attends, or "Leo Duel School", the most influential one around.
>One day out of nowhere, Yuya got himself into an Exhibition Duel with the current Pro Dueliest Champion...?
From latest V Jump, don't be a faggot
Will they still only have 4000 LP? Or will it be made more relatable with the actual game for once?
They have had quite a few seasons on them to update it. I kind of wonder why they haven't.
So the duels don't drag out for too long. That was the reason for 4000 LP in the beginning, games used to be a lot slower irl than they are right now with xyzs and synchros. I'm guessing they're just going to keep going with that since it's how they've written them for so long.
So how are they going to manage making Xyz relatively obsolete?
The new mechanic isn't about a new monster type in the extra deck. They don't have to never use them like zexal did with synchros, just not spam them constantly in every duel.
Is it wrong to wish the duel terminal cards played by some major characters?
I want to see some gusto / charmers cosplayer...
yet another little girl
what happened to the hot girls?
confirmed for zexal 2.0
I want an /ss/ worthy antagonist cake.
