>There are people who honestly believe the writing of Kill la Kill is very good.
u're mom is very good
>People actually think Ergo Proxy is deep and not at all wasted potential.
Except it is, it is full of twists the viewer never sees coming and deals with so many issues in creative ways while implementing them into the plot, it isn't just some generic shonen where the character constantly pulls abilities out of their ass whenever things start going rough.
Best anime 2013-2014 hands down.
Well that's just your raison d'être.
Why not posting this in one of the already present threads?
It's not like your opinion deserves a thread for its own.
What do you know about writing anyways?
Are you a writer? Ever published something?
SO MUCH THIS >>102251363
>inb4 2 deep 4 u
>twists the viewer never sees coming
Because of how poorly it is written.
Usually people only say a twist is good when it has been properly foreshadowed. Kill la Kill seems to be an exception to this rule because of how c-c-crazy everything is.
Kill la Kill, yeah. We win.
>There are people who actually think Clannad isn't full of melodrama.
But the writing isn't good.
It's just a fucking train ride that's fun to be on.
>There are people who seriously replied to your post
Oh no. I'm being baited. Look, I'm replying to it and everything.
Kill la Kill is a glorious ride where everything is made up and the plot doesn't matter.
>Usually people only say a twist is good when it has been properly foreshadowed.
There's plenty of foreshadowing in Kill la Kill. Most of it is visual and you have to pay attention. Name something that isn't foreshadowed and I'll demonstrate.
Satsuki had a sister.
I hardly see how that's such a thing that needs foreshadowed. Tons of people have sisters. You may not know this but I have one too.
Life fibers are aliens
Satsuki is against life fibers.
Nui was the one who killed Ryuko's father
>Lots of people loved it
>a few, including OP, hated it
>The latter group must be the one who are living their lives correctly, right?
What if I tell you, your taste is bad, not ours?
Kill la Kill is a great show, it's very entertaining and fun to watch.
That doesn't mean the writing is good.
She makes angry faces every time her mother says pro-life fiber stuff. Every fucking time.
I don't see why that should be foreshadowed. It's not a twist or a plot point; it's just a fact.
Actually, you might have me on this one. The first time we see the flash back it looks like they really wanted us to think it was Satsuki. Although there isn't anything wrong with a red herring or two.
WHAT A TWIST!
That's like praising a product's good look but still say its design is shit.
How the hell do you think it gets to be entertaining and fun to watch?
It's good for what it is, and it's clear it only takes itself half seriously rather than starting out excellent and turning mediocre and playing stupid shit with a straight face, pic unrelated
Well, no. A Hot Pocket isn't exactly a calzone but it's tasty enough. Kill la Kill is like the anime version of a Hot Pocket.
If plot twist is good writing then kubo is the cervantes of this era
I think in the OP or in some other place it's hinted at the life fibers being humans. I remember art of tons of humans stacked together like thread.
I guess that's just a false lead like Tsumugu being related to Ryuko.
When doesn't she have an angry face?
Like I've said before: it feels like Nakashima's writing this as he goes along.
>like Tsumugu being related to Ryuko.
That wasn't even hinted at, just dumb asses on /a/ going: They both have colored hair!! It must mean something.
Her face is normally gorgeous.
>New twist is revealed without any foreshadowing
>Such good writing
>It contradicts something which was established earlier
I like the dialogue because every character is a Large Ham and has their own ridiculous "ideology" which somehow sounds decent because of they way they shout everything.
>It contradicts something which was established
It wasn't really established though. We knew that Ryouko didn't know the killer and had been going from place to place looking for information while transferring schools. The only reason she started to believe Satsuki had anything to do with it is because Satsuki lead her on.
>there are people who honestly think pre Chuu2 Kyoani was worse than Tamako/Chuu2/Free/KnK
>Argumentum ad populum
Are you even trying? Things get popular for reasons other than being good.
Well, there are shows from pre-Chuu2 Kyoani that are worse than Chu2, but there are no shows from pre-Chuu2 that are worse than KnK and Tamako, besides Munto.
>because Satsuki lead her on
Because the plot demands it until the show needs to go in another direction for whatever reason.
>If everyone is doing it, it's the right thing to do
The majority of people over 18 don't watch anime so you're not living YOUR life correctly.
I imagine it was to keep a good soldier close to her. She spent most of the series protecting her.
You clearly have no idea what a twist is.
>Mystery Murderer killed my dad
>"Gotta find out who killed my dad!"
>"Hi Ryuuko-chan, I killed your dad!"
>WHAT A TWEEEEEST
>The silhouette looks like Satsuki
>Oh wait, it was Nui
