So /a/, I'm looking for a lighthearted SoL/comedy is this the right place to look?
Should I go manga or anime first? I'm gonna go through both, but I'm not sure which I should go through first.
Anyways, feel free to berate me for not watching/reading this sooner.
Reading is for faggots, just watch it.
But unless you're watching the horrible dub, you will be reading. I'd say the anime, so you can hear norio wakamoto as chiyos dad.
School Rumble >>>>>>>>> Azumanga
I don't even care that I'm spoonfeeding, just had to get it out there. Azumanga is so overrated.
What kind of sad nerd reads comic books when you can just watch the cartoon?
You can't go wrong with either of them, but I personally prefer the manga.
I still think it's worth watching. You can't rightfully say that School Rumble is better than Azumanga without having seen both.
Also try not to burden my viewing/reading experience with expectations. I want to go into this relatively blind.
Seen that already, if Aria is full SoL and Nichijou is full Comedy, I want something in-between if that makes sense
Azumanga Daioh is a good choice then.
I'd also recommend Hidamari Sketch if you want that kind of balance.
I've also seen that, so I'll just flip a coin for manga/anime.
Thanks for the recommendation /a/.
Cool rec thread faggot
It's kind of weird that this guy has seen all these other SOL comedy shows but not THE SOL comedy show and I'm in the exact same boat
There's also minami-ke.
As is School Rumble, which every man and his dog already knows about
Jesus fucking christ
>Watching Azumanga instead of reading it
Pants on head retarded. When it comes to Azumanga, Anime <<<<<<<<< Manga.
School Rumble had literally the worst ending ever, unlike Azumanga Daioh.
Also, School Rumble is a romcom while Azumanga Daioh is SoL.
Try Working!!, op.
Is Joshiraku SoL?
Nothing wrong with the anime so watch it.
>School Rumble >>>>>>>>> Azumanga
I thought so too until I found out nothing happens in the end.
