So I just marathoned this today. I was liking it until the end. The camping trip really felt like it was jumping the shark, and the ending resolved literally nothing.

What did /a/ think? Any thoughts on this one?

Was this harem bullshit?

One of my favorite shows. /a/ disliked it for the most part though, the blueballing was a bit much at times. Read the manga now.

Yamada is the purest.

Is the ending in the manga more satisfying?

Infinitely so.

I remember this. Started watching for the ridiculous plot, yet it ended up being genuinely funny

I ended up watching this as a part of my "shitty anime I want to watch ironically" kick, but I actually ended up genuinely enjoying it. The characters grew on me, but I began to love it less towards the end.

The last series I watched on this kick was "Girls Bravo," which is one of the worst series I have ever watched.
