What Anime/Manga setting would you play an MMO of. If you were in charge of its design, how would you make it?
Hard Mode: Not an anime that is about an MMO.
I'm not into MMO genre, instead of playing one game for years I'd rather play many other games and complete them.
Well just for the sake of discussion, what setting would make you play an MMO version of it?
None, this type of question is retarded.
I don't know about the setting, but I'd like it to be subscription based and not free to play, also without any additional microtransactions.
For a moment I thought about Magic Knight Rayearth and Slayers, but I'm not sure.
Can't I just have a Skies of Arcadia MMO instead? It's basically an anime, right?
Two factions; suits and vampires. During the day the game centres around social interactions and exploration, some areas controlled by Vampires so pvp can occur if you go looking for it. During night players can join random scenarios that get them either teleported to briefing room by Gantz or whatever it was the Vampires did.
Fights will be based entirely around coordination and tactics instead of one person tanking and waiting for the boss to die. In fact let's make it no player roles at all. Everyone gets the same set of skills, points (experience you get from scenarios) can be used to either purchase weapons/mounts, change factions (symbolise getting set free/joining Gantz) or to send a game key to a friend (bringing the dead back)
Kill la Kill is relatively easy. I mean, you already have the plans played out, let your interests do the rest!
Tokyo Mew Mew
>not a single mention of Mondaiji
Hunter X Hunter. (Preferably 2011)
Classes are the nen groups, you can have your two sub groups but skills are nerfed.
Specialist is the last "job" and everyone gets it at max level but each Specialist job is different to the other to encourage choosing the different classes.
MMOs are the worst video games, even worse than ASSFAGGOTS. Why would you do that?
>even worse than ASSFAGGOTS
Another way of saying the genre that is LoL and Dota.
Ah... I don't get how that works at all. But thanks for clearing it up?
Aeon of Strife Styled Fortress Assault Game Going On Two Sides
Now that makes much more sense. Thanks.
Most anime and manga do not translate well into MMORPG although MMO is much more possible. That's because the anime or manga was written to be based around the main characters with all the other characters existing mostly to either make the MC look good, or to give the MC some temporary pain and drama. There is just no room for player characters in such a game.
Well its why I said MMO. There has to be some anime out there with good enough setting or lore.
I'm not a fan of One Piece but exploring its world would be pretty crazy.
I did say Hunter would be good earlier. Even something like Toriko would be fun.
A-anon...thank you...so based!
Fuck your hard mode , i'd play the shit out of Elder Tale.
Probably Little Witch Academia or RWBY.
