Why is Natsume so good?
The OVA finally got subbed a few days ago, check it out if you haven't seen it yet.
Finally a Natsume thread. I haven't lost my faith in 4chan.
I was really expecting this to go somewhere.
Mushi-shi is better.
Mushi-shi is so overrated, but still good. I prefer Natsume though as it has more likeable characters and a better atmosphere plus humor.
I guess Mushishi's OVA was a little more filling, but this was just another nice warm episode of Nastume.
The manga isn't even over yet
I've not seen the TV anime but I read the manga and I watched the OVA when it got subbed. It feels so cozy and sentimental, just as expected.
That is a rare occasion. Most people first watch the anime then go throught the manga. I recommend you to watch the anime for the glorious setting, OST, VA's and etc.
I'll surely do that someday. My motivation is low since there are 50~ episodes to get through though.
Because he is just like us, lonely
That just means there's more fun to be had.
thanks for reminding me
>1 hour special > Natsume tier episode
Well that's obvious, I'm just biding the time until they announce another season of Natsume.
I just finished second season.
This episode, man.
It's filler and not even in the manga, same for the Lala ova. Just enjoy it for what it is.
The manga has lots of one-off stories that feel just like this, and to me they are a part of the manga as much as the overarching "plot" of the story, if you can call it that.
The ones in the manga are canon not fillers. Not really worth nothing just like all extra scenes with filler characters like Sasada.
I swear to fucking god, if she doesn't end up at least a significant character in subsequent Natsume establishments, my rage will dwarf entire galaxy.
She won't, the only recurring yokai are sensei, the yokai group that lives near Natsume's place, the exorcist's shikis and shota fox for anime only canon.
Well, I know that, but one can still hope for improbable.
