So I just finished Black Rock Shooter TV.
Holy shit I can't stop laughing.
THE MACAROONS, /a/
WHAT DO THE MACAROONS MEAN
you mean macarons OP?
macaroons are the chewy coconut balls
macarons are the two cookies with paste inbetween
I loved this show, unironically, as a guilty pleasure on the same tier as Caligula
Now this is school counseling.
The show is great if you use your brain as you watch it.
I did not know this shit at all man. This blew my mind.
Every fucking thread
Middle School Lesbian Drama apparently fuels CG-battles in a semi-metaphorical wonderland.
This drama apparently consists of abusive relationships and macaro(o)n consumption.
Imaishi's contributions in episode 7 were fucking fantastic.
I'm going to dump some stitches.
One of the shittiest shows I've ever dropped.
Same. I was surprised afterwards to see that everyone else thought it sucked.
the movie was shit so I didn't watch the animu
BRS is one of the most unintentionally hilarious shows ever.
They're all so melodramatic about stuff that shouldn't be important, and the lesbian middle school drama is about hook ups and breakups and how they all overreact to it.
So...Yuu switched places with Strength when Saya-sensei was in middle school...
That means that she's been in Shooter-land for over ten years, maybe twenty. And she hasn't aged a day ever since.
Why hasn't anyone noticed that a kid that disappeared years ago is attempting to return to school, and hasn't aged?
And for that matter, why the fuck was the school counselor causing despair?
Why? For what reason would she create CG doppelgangers of middle-school lesbians?
All in all, I wish BRSTV was just a series of ambiguously symbolic CG battles.
The "character development" was awful...except for Yuu/Strength. Seriously, best girl. Should have been the MC.
I don't remember there being any hate for it whatsoever while it was airing either.
I really wish BRS would drop the Otherworld aspect. I think it takes away from it a bit
I dropped it after the ridiculous second episode. It was just hilariously melodramatic.
But taking away the huke designs removes any reason I would have to watch the TV series.
The CG was so. good. I couldn't even tell it was CG in some places.
I didn't mean "Take away the Otherworld aspect" as in take away the designs
Rather the other side of it, the "normal" side
Something like the BRS game, but better
You mean Overdramatic
Melodrama is something completely different
Fuck you /a/, I loved it. Maybe it was 33deep55you retards.
DM a best
Moot doesn't let me to upload shit so,
One of the worst shows I've watched, but hell it was kind of fun
They could just make it like the manga. It was simple and cheesy but not necessarily bad.
I hoped that the anime that have CGI in them would use the technic BRS used for it's CGI, but sadly noone does it.
I watched it and accidentally had some trollsubs that commented how ridiculous it was. Hilarious.
I wish I had done that. It probably would have been much easier to watch.
Saya was great
I still don't understand what the fuck Maya's intentions were. Was she Black*Gold Saw?
the OVA was great. Sadly the anime didnt matched the original
There a GIF of where she turned her arms into rails and propelled one fist with another into BRS' face over and over?
I still don't know what was going on.
I went full masochist and completed it.
It was a lot better to watch with /a/, coincidentally just like another not so good noitaminA show that aired at the same time.
Macaroons taste fucking good as well, too.
Guidance counselor sexual harassment was pretty high-tier.
