Let's have a manga thread because /a/ feels worse than usual.
What manga are you reading /a/?
Does anyone know where can I read some proto manga?
Just read the new chapters of Nickelodeon and One Punch Man, now it's time to see if I can catch up on Nanatsu no Taizai before work
Thank you for saving this thread from death
Is Nickelodeon the series of one shots?
I wouldn't reccomend speed reading through NnT. It's a nice read and it's etter if you take your time with it.
Really old stuff, like pre-Tezuka.
wrestle idol, it's hard to read it without becoming diamonds
>Is Nickelodeon the series of one shots?
Sen to Man
It's a bit weird though since the author makes some of my favorite loli hentai.
One of my favourite mangas kimi wa midara no boku no Joou
Reading some touhou
Waratte Sotomura-san, a simple light hearted manga, perfect for relaxing after some other depressing mangas.
>Sen to Man
Oh man. I want to like it but I'm afraid of being burned again.
Umi no Misaki
It's ok so far. But just that:. okay
Jitsu wa Watashi wa
Where every girl is the best girl.
Damn I forgot this one, last chapter was ridiculously funny.
mahotsukai no yome was pretty awesome. thanks for the anon who dumped yesterday.
but i'm itching for more now.
i need more series with interesting worldbuilding.
It's just seems to be a SOL story
I doubt it will go in that direction.
Only ongoing manga I'm currenty reading is Koe no Katachi. I recently finished Bitter Virgin, and think I will start reading 20th Century Boys next; something I have intended to do for a while.
D-does webcomic count? If so, I'm reading Senyuu and gaddahmn it's p good for a dramedy.
If not, Itoshi no Karin is so cute I'm fuzzy inside. Also I Tokyo Ghoul is pretty good, I'm excited for next chapter.
Reading through Bambino!, it's really great.
On another note, I just finished downloading my whole backlog, it's like 130 gb, not counting my H-manga backlog (another 130 gb).
Still waiting on more Subaru
Currently reading Akumetsu. It's alright, but I really don't see why it gets as much love as it does.
The MC killed this series for me, but I loved the detail they went into when talking about fighting styles.
New chapter when? ;_;
There's some shit going on with a magazine transition, but it's irregularly in Young Jump, and is probably going to Miracle Jump when it returns.
This week I've started and finished (atleast finished to where english scanlations are):
Kimi no Iru Machi
17-sai Degree Celsius
Half & Half
Itoshi no Nina
And currently readon My Little Monster
Where the fuck do you find so much free time. Kimi Machi alone is like 250 chapters.
Does he bone her sister in the latest chapters?
It's 261 chapters and Suzuka is 167, but aside from those two there really isn't that many chapters in the rest - they are all around 10 or so.
And yes, I have had a lot of free time this week, have been lucky with my job so I could stay up and read most nights. Also, I read rather fast
I'm sure I've fapped to some before.
Shit, I remember that thread.
Great choice nigga
I don't know why but something about the character design is sexy as fuck
>I don't know why but something about the character design is sexy as fuck
It has a kind of 90s feel to me.
How can you possibly read that garbage?
Atm i'm checking out some source manga i've missed for upcoming Spring anime season.
Partly to decide if watching the given show (there will be so much stuff to watch alredy that i need to filter more), partly for the enjoyment itself.
Ugh, I was so happy when it started back up, I hope it doesn't somehow get lost in the shuffle.
i managed to read bleach up to ch.504 (which was all that was out at the time) in one sitting despite me getting bored of the repeatativeness.
I just bought the first volume of Nisekoi: First Love today, I wanted something to contrast the usually darker, action based stuff I tend to read.
Anybody here enjoy it?
Why would you that to yourself?
Kokou No Hito.
My life in drawn pictures, but I'm not as ripped and I'm a shitty climber.
One of the best manga out there and surprisingly not everyone had read it yet.
I read the one shot and enjoyed it somewhat, but I heard it turned into a harem instead of just being about 2 tsundere which means I never continued.
I just finished reading Devil Man yesterday.
What the fuck /a/, that ending was uncalled for...
As for right now I'm reading Tsukihime
There's no way you can process the manga like this. You're supposed to break every couple of chapters, at least every volume and reflect on what you've just read or your brain's never going to store it.
I mean it works in the sense of you will get the sense of the plot and important events but there's no way you'll get the lasting affect the author intended.
just got done reading a manga called Silva
only complaint is severe lack of rocket loli
Well I do, it tends to get a bit repetitive but it's fine, I mean it's not supposed to be some super deep story it's just a simple slice of lifey harem manga.
It's refreshing from the usual grim stories we get around without falling in the 100% moe things.
Wakabayashi 4Koma collection.
It's still my favourite out of the genre up to SS arc.
I was planning on reading it, was the ending bad?
The one shot wasn't bad actually.
Main serie is, instead, the "Romance/Harem cliche's: the ultimate compilation".
>translations multiple chapters behind
Ah that's disappointing news. Well romance/harem aint my thing so at least the cliches might seem fresh to me.
No, just read it.
No what I meant to say was that the ending was unexpected. It was Shocking in a good way
You hallucinate when you get your dick sucked ? Well that's a skill if anything.
Depends on the manga. You can do it with Gantz
Some things are just really easy reads
Oh nice, I remember reading this
Google Image Search doesn't want to work with this one, so title please.
Shishunki Bitter Change
I just started reading this. No spoilers please.
I was enjoying the flashback stuff they have going on at the moment but it looks like the big tits girl is going to whip them out for the sake of the president next time.
She dies at chapter 5.
Cause of the death...bukkake
Thanks anon, any Yandere Kanojo readers here ?
Or atleast I would, if somebody could translate the latest chapter ;_;
I dropped it. Do they even kiss/hug/hold hands ?
I now know how to start a manga thread that will last for more than 30 posts. Post a cute girl in the OP.
They did in chapter around chapter 15 or 20, they started to translate it again.
Her father is Undead !!!!!!
It took you so long to come to the conclusion ?
How many manga are you following?
Pics related, 84 currently on list and couple more that I haven't added yet.
>Started reading Akame ga Kill
I thought this was supposed to be something more than a generic shounen.
I'm very dense.
7 Seeds at the moment, I am about 30 chapters in, it's not bad but the art is difficult to tell at times what is happening. It has a similar vibe to the show LOST.
Basically the story is that these group of people wake up on a raft in the middle of the ocean and make it to an island. They find out that they may be the only people left in Japan and the world and have to restart civilization. After they leave the island they decided to make it to the mainland to see if they are indeed the only ones left alive.
People die and there's rape and shit, other than that, not really.
All the individual files are zipped/rar file. No png/jpg here.
The gimmick is that main cast members die.
Currently reading Orange. It's pretty sweet.
So what is correct?
>start reading manga
>it stops updating
>oh well, i'll follow a different one while i wait.
>follow a new manga
>same thing happens
>end up following hundreds of series
>none of them ever update
>drop them all, one by one
Nowadays I only pick up series that are complete or are oneshots.
Although it hasn't updated recently.
Been reading pic related. Finally caught up to it. Its been a slow but enjoyable ride
>K-On clone with Kagamin from Lucky Star about motorcycles
Jeez. I'm not hating on it or anything but ...
Here's my backlog at the moment, currently waiting for the Jupiter arc of The World God Only Knows to finish before I start reading again and I am taking a break from Diamond is Unbreakable to finish 7 Seeds.
I hate this aswell. Having to wait on new chapters all the time, especially those that take 2+ weeks to update just ruins it for me. Considering how small one chapter is I just don't get into the feel of the manga before I have to wait for another chapter.
Put aside my few favorite manga I always wait for 10+ chapters before I start reading it agian.
>K-ON invented "a group of girls with similar interests"
You pick up loads then have each one update randomly so overtime, you have atleast 1 new manga daily.
Read Angel Densetsu
In that format ? Yeah pretty much.
Just drop TWGOK, the new arc is awful.
Not really, and it was a 4-koma
So, It seems like most people use Free Manga Downloader - is this actually a better option than tablet apps like Manga Storm or Manga Rock? Or is the quality the same?
Most people use Mangatraders and/or Batoto.
Depends on where you get your manga from. If you get it from sites like Batoto, you will have good quality images. If you get manga from mangafox, prepared for shit quality + water marks.
MangaRock or whatever lets you download from Batoto so it's fine, but for PC/ereader FMD does the same job.
I guess no one does?
Wait, is it being translated again?
Currently reading Billy Bat. Oswald arc was great.
What is it?
Why would you read it before it's finished?
Never read a manga before, thinking of picking up one. I suppose I'll just start on the rec charts, but is there any list of unfinished, regularly updating manga that are good so I can pick them up and participate in the threads?
Ye, got both Manga Storm and Manga Rock which downloads from Batoto, but sometimes I don't find a specific manga on Batoto so I have to use mangafox and the likes - just wondered if there were a better alternative
Vol.4 Ch.31: The Popular PairVortex-Scans KidCongo 01 January 2014 - 09:48 AM
Really old stuff. Like pre-Tezuka.
Mangatraders has a lot that isn't in Batoto.
>so I have to use mangafox and the likes
MT. Or MU to track down the scanlators and get it from their website.
Just read Onani Master Kurosawa. Quick, one of the most popular on /a/, relevant, and, most importantly, it's good.
Currently scavenging the internet trying to finds raws for the first two volumes for No Dignity for The Captain, since YuriProject apparently dropped it.
>not using domdomsoft manga dwownloader
Kissmanga if Batoto fails.
The alternative for that particular form of downloading if you don't find them on batoto is to download from kissmanga.
I'd say the best way of getting into manga is to look in the catalog for one page threads and then start being in them regularly. Just make a list of all you find interesting and start reading.
Also, try to check up when they were last updated - really i annoying to get into a manga just to see no one is translating them. Also, this site is your best friend:
Open Source alternative Free Manga Downloader is better and transparent.
Not much this week, work has been a bitch.
Reading Kimi no Iru Machi up to volume 17. Rage doesn't even describe what I was feeling.
Also reading Tonari no Kashiwagi-san up to volume 2. Here's a summary: imagine you have a favorite artist on pixiv/da/wherever, then it turns out that your favorite artist is the beautiful girl sitting next to you in the class all along. Please note that it's not a spoiler because it all happens in volume 1.
What I hate about MU is that whenever I search for romance related tags all I find is Yaoi.
>Rage doesn't even describe what I was feeling.
Stop it with that shitty meme. It was a great and enjoyable manga.
I use it, but I don't know why'd imply it's the best way to download manga.
All methods are imperfect. There isn't a single comprehensive site for all things manga, not even mangaupdates.
Are you serious? Check off Exclude Yaoi in the search
Catching up on the last two chapters of Freezing.
So it's a given that you rage when reading Kimi no Iru Machi - but how do you like it? I raged tons over it, but it's one of my favorite manga (alongside with Suzuka, which is in the same universe)
Why wouldn't I? I still have 49 chapters left to read, maybe more will be out by the time I finish, and if not, I'll wait for new chapters while reading other things
There is almost nothing but Yaoi, and a lot of shit isn't tagged correctly.
You consider this piece of shit great?
I do too.
RIP in peace VP tits.
I'm reading Dragon Head. It's pretty good.
>filtering Yuri and Shoujo Ai
>filtering Smut but not filtering Hentai
>not filtering Webtoons
what shit taste
Obviously I didn't check all of these, but I'm clicking on a bunch of stuff and I'm not seeing any yaoi
>weird the author makes some of my favorite loli hentai
Woah, I was just about so say that that style could produce some good H-manga.
I knew he was familiar.
That's Sekiya Asami, right?
I'm talking about more specific tags.
I think one link would have sufficed.
What meme? I was really angry after reading THAT chapter, you know the one. Also, I'm not finished reading it yet. Who knows if I'll stop being angry at then end of it?
Sure, I'm enjoying it. The mangaka draws great bodies, though the sameface syndrome is bothering me.
>Rage doesn't even describe what I was feeling.
Then just drop it, unless you like that kind of stuff. I got too fed up with how dumb ever character is and dropped it long before that because I don't find a manga about retards falling in love very interesting
This and few hundred more.
I think not. That's a comprehensive list of all probably worthwile Sekiya H-manga and I would rather post them all if I can.
What does that matter? Once you filter out those main genre tags you can then put whatever category tags you wanted and results will have no yaoi
All right, thanks.
Yeah, the sameface thing bugged me a bit too - still a favorite of mine. Have you read Suzuka by same author? otherwise you might wanna give it a try - they kinda fit together, Suzuka being the first, KnIM being the second and the authors new manga Fuuka being the third in the same universe.
I'm reading Billy bat too. Volume 7 gets released it germany next month! =)
How long do you prefer your manga to be?
>I want to like it but I'm afraid of being burned again.
You should be, considering people are weirded out by Usagi Drop's quasi-incestual ending and considering the artist of Sen to Man draws lolicon H-manga, including a pretty long series of father-daughter incest.
Did you see the picture I posted? I never dropped a manga.
I'll decide after I finished KnIM.
Depends on the style. Action-adventure series with a big scope have a reason to be long, but other stories (like some survival game ones) would benefit from being shorter
Okay. That doesn't change what I said though, and I'm confused why you would keep doing something you don't like.
Some people like to rage. >>102202959
It's like Horou Musuko except with more deep-seated psychological problems and less indecision.
Because the anime got me hooked and Yasuda's balancing fetish is something I recently found myself being turned on by. Also all the girls are delicious as fuck.
>Yasuda's balancing fetish
Wait, can you explain this? A fetish for balancing?
Pretty much. Yasuda tends to place objects on the girl's heads. Objects range from apples to eggs and well anything. Pic related
A Divine Love Alone
Attack on Titan
Just finished catching up on Tetsugaku letra. I haven't read much manga in comparison to anime but I thought this was really damn good.
harvest moon arc took long tho, and i don't expect crazy ass combat as the prelude anymore.
this manga is quite deep for some reason, like realy weird random shit happens in that universe
How often does MALgraph update your profile?
Yeah but I haven't read it in a while.
Just catching up.
I'm at the 36 chapter of both the online and the physical versions.
Thanks anon sounds like the perfect manga for me.
This looks cute. Too bad I don't like monster girls.
Reading Flame of Recca. On to the last 40 chapters or so. The characters were surprisingly likable and I've enjoyed reading it. I either can read battle shounen quite happily or get bored several chapters in.
fire fire fire came back so I started reading that again
dont know why I like it so much to be honest
Mah nigga. I absolutely love this manga.
I want to send a "thank you" letter to the author for making it, even though I don't speak Japanese and the author probably doesn't speak English
It has a great balance of romance, incredibly depressing moments and hilarious comedy.
I'm going through some backlog, reading Historie right now.
Picture related in both ways.
I've been reading Sabagebu among other things. It's just pure silliness with a cheesy airsoft premise.
Give me something good to read /a/
Just got up to date on Tower Of God, now my reading list is free, any good recs?
is anyone else having problems with batoto today? website seems to be shitting the bed for me
Read the thread, faggot, learn to pick up series on your own.
No one here uses it?
I thught it was pretty popular on /a/.
Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro
Yeah, I've been getting random "down for maintenance"
Yeah, it's a good thing I download. I use Kissmanga as a backup usually.
I wouldn't even think of using MAL to track manga and well I hardly use MAL since I don't watch much anime. I'm sure you're asking the wrong people.
>implying I haven't read the thread and picked up manga from it
>implying I don't usually pick up series on my own
I just want some recommendations, dude, people like to share things they like, ignore it if you don't want to contribute
Amanchu, diving/sol (from ARIA creator)
Ichinensei ni Nacchattara, loli/comedy
Nana to Kaoru , romance/s&m
Change 123, action/fanservice
Franken Fran, comedy/horror
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, supernatural/romance
I use both MU and MAL, which I made especially because MALgraph looks pretty nice.
They're not really that different.
Awwww shiet. Saving this for later fap time. Thanks.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask but,
mentioned a fatty x roadkill. What is this? I suspect this is a typo and Google doesn't help.
Ichinensei is complete, though.
Is Boys on the Run any good?
I need something else to read while I wait for a new chapter of I am A Hero
Don't tell me you type in the post quote
Anybody reading Again!!?
I love it but it's a manga that's more fun marathoning than reading each chapter every week.
Uh, it's not a typo. Just read the manga.
I was on the second to last page on an I am a hero chapter when batoto died for me.
It had been loading much slower than usual and some pages wouldn't load without refreshing
Now it's dead
what do you guys use to view the pages?
I am a Hero actually goes like 30 more chapters in the raws, but I guess no one is TLing anymore.
At least it finally gets back to the main story, even if I cant read it.
Every time I load a chapter hoping to see what is happening with Hideo, Zombie-chan, and Piss-chan, only to see the Kurusu group again, I die a little inside.
can't find sauce
I pasted it from foolz though. Just a mistake.
Well this is embarrassing. Pic related
Any GOOD sports manga? (Completed) I already read Slam Dunk and Prince of Tennis.
A lot of people like Eyeshield 21. If you aren't picky about it being ongoing you could try Real. If you count extreme sports under sports there's Glaucos and Kokou no Hito.
I am currently reading Spirit Circle, Nanatsu no Taizai, and Karakuri Circus.
Rookies if you haven't read it already.
There's a bunch of MMA and boxing manga also like Tough, Teppu, Ashita no Joe etc.
Same here, I had to go through the raws just because I was so pissed off at how long that Kurusu shit dragged on, and the fact that the TLs ended only a few chapters before it went back.
Yeah, Real's very good but it comes out super slow.
Try some Mitsuru Adachi like Touch, H2, Katsu!, and Cross Game
Did you read what he posted? There was nothing more than yaoi.
Their TL was busy for a while, they're probably working it. Probably.
Ping Pong. Can't wait for Yuasa's anime. Noririn, but it's not completed and translations are dead. Still, it's a great read. It's by the author of Bokurano and Narutaru without any suffering, which is frankly pretty nice. I actually don't like their stuff like that.
Summit of the Gods if you can pick up a physical copy. I still have to read The Ice Wanderer actually, which is online.
Goddamn, it's been ages since there was someone working on Glaucos.
this right here will hit you in the feels and the ending is okay
my favorite baseball manga
Most of what I'm reading seems to barely update once in a blue moon, either because it's all caught up or because scanslators are v.slow/busy/involved in drama or whatever. In no particular order for stuff with some release in the last few months, or else that I picked up even if it's done:
F/KL Primsa Ilya
All You Need Is Kill
No Game No Life
Dr. Hitomi's Infirmary
Shin Sekai Yori
Qualia the Purple <- wins award for most "yeah I did not see that coming after the first few chapters" what the fuck
>partial/total clusterfucks I'm following because not bad enough to FUKKEN DROP at this point and want to see the end but don't recommend starting
Freezing, Claymore, Mahouka Rettousei
I dropped that so fast as soon as I realized it was by the same guy that did UxU
>partial/total clusterfucks I'm following because not bad enough to FUKKEN DROP at this point and want to see the end but don't recommend starting
I'm glad Gantz is finally over.
I can't see how people like that. It's not even fun, unlike SAO.
Although it was terrible enough for me to drop. Why did I still pick it up again to get to the finish?
Just finished Fourteen.
I don't even know.
Arachnid, Arpeggio (god damn what a let down that anime was), Murciélago, Riko to Haru to Onsen to Iruka. I regret nothing.
I wound up dropping it, even though the art is great.
That would have 100% made the list, thank fuck that's over with. It was terrible but we got closure, if he'd died or something it would have been worse, that the end was rushed was fine by me. Also to my shame I'm still poking my nose into Naruto from time to time just to see what the fuck he's up to now.
I truly did drop bleach though, and feel zero desire to ever look at it again, so I guess I'm not totally without hope.
As long as it's good length is unimportant
Appropriate to the material.
Super-Dreadnought Girl 4946. thanks whoever recommended it it was a glorious ride.
Minamoto kun Monogatari due to my aunt fetish, it's pretty good.
Also picked up Kiba no Tabishouin, art style is cool, and the story is pretty good so far.
Also One Punch Man, art is amazing and it's a pretty good read
Someone please tell me the name of this manga.
I need cute shotas
>How long do you prefer your manga to be?
Long enough but not too long? Dunno what you want man, I have read incredible one shots and many-volume series that BOTH left me hungry for more, which I guess is the ultimate measure. If I finish and think "shit, I wish there was a sequel/side/more right now" then it was a success. Conversely there have been one-shots I dropped halfway through and immediately deleted.
I guess I would say though that at 8-10+ volumes it's easier for authors to start going off track or having filler or whatever. Not for sure, but it's out of the more standard categories and well into the "many year/decade epic" category with all that entails. It seems easier for authors to get burned out or lose the thread or whatever over such a long time, which is only human I suppose but still a fact. I'd say 1-8 volumes seems to be sweet, short enough to not consume the author's life but long enough to have some real meat, not be frantic and explore the world a bit and cover even significant stories as long as pacing is tight.
Good authors can do whatever they want though.
10+ is optimal, if it's too short I end up reading it too fast with no time to digest.
I'm not sure, I just wanted to start some discussion on manga length and what you like more, but I agree it depends a lot.
Does anyone have some college romance manga recommendations?
Kimi no Iru Machi
man I am up to my neck in college romance stories, there's just so many to choose from we definitely don't need any more!!! what we barely have any of is highschool romances, why do artists never do any manga on highschool!!?
Golden Time, but I don't know how the manga is.
Kimi wa Midari na Boku no Joou is the best romance manga ever.
This is a fact.
If you think it isn't you can get fucked. I don't even want to hear arguments against it just get fucked.
Yonensei. Though it focuses more on the life aspect than pure romance. But It's quite good.
Natsu no Zenjitsu.
I love it, wish there was more like it that isn't full on Hentai.
I dropped Freezing when I saw that all the fight scenes were incomprehensible messes.
Good move, although the short spinoff/prequel 1st Chronicle at least was pretty straightforward. As for the main series though geh, yet I'm far enough in I kind of want to find out what is going on. It's better then some of the type I guess, though it's gone into the steep powerleveling phase now.
I didn't complain about Yaoi being filtered though. And fuck you.
This. I don't understand why /a/ take recommendations as a sin - most people love to share what they like.
Here are a few of my favorite, you might try them out.
Kimi no Iru Machi
Nanatzu no Taizai
Ran to Haiiro no Sekai
Have a good read anon.
Finished reading whats been released of Ran in the Gray World. I put it off for ages since I heard it turned into a battle manga but thats not really accurate at all.
Poor Rich dude. For a womanizing lech he was alright. I loved how he used one of his final moments in life to troll a little kid.
>normals love to share
Fixed. There are place to share your manga, its called google and mal and gaia and reddit. Not /a/.
>I don't understand why /a/ take recommendations as a sin - most people love to share what they like.
You would if you thought about it for half a second. It an attitude developed to stop the board from constantly getting flooded with threads from people getting into anime and manga
And most people don't like people they hate getting their hands on things they like. Honestly, I just ignored his post because he posted ToG.
Do you want the catalog to be filled with recommendation threads moron? Requesting is against the rules, recommendations you make are fine, but not encouraged.
Kimi no Iru Machi
You won't find better.
I always have thought you should reccomend series if the one asking isn't acting like a complete newfag or jerk.
I never mentioned recommendation threads. I'm fine with not having those, but it seems like /a/ have gotten to the point where you are not even allowed to tell someone else what manga / anime you like. If someone asks for a few good reads in a thread like this or a OPT I see no problem with sharing my favorites, it's not like it ruins /a/.
I don't think 'should' is appropriate. More like 'don't care' if someone does post something.
And you'd see that this thread in itself is a bit of an antithesis to that. Some people have straight out asked for recommendations on certain things and got rather decent responses.
Is Fuuka looking to be rageworthy yet?
It's that monkey experiment effect.
Stop it with that idiotic meme please.
You said recommendations, and I took that as meaning threads, but yeah you're right about the over concern.
You can't have threads like this otherwise, and there's no other place to discuss manga in general, small series that can't sustain their own threads and the like.
Fuck you moot for the cooldown.
It's about an assassin who when he changes his left hand switches to a different person.
Like he can change into a gunslinger high school girl, sniper shota and more.
Nothing amazing yet but it has potential.
How is that a meme? These manga make people genuinely angry.
Yes, this thread is nice imo. But a lot of threads on /a/ ain't like that, I just think it's a shame that people on this board sometimes ruins a thread because that one dude wanted some quality reading.
Haven't read Fuuka yet (waiting for a few more chapters to get out before I begin, I'm using all my willpower) but knowing Seo, and the fact that this is the same world as KnIM and Suzuka I bet it's rather nice right now and the next few chapters, but once you get to know the characters it starts all over.
I understand how it could be seen as I was talking about rec threads, as that's what gets most of the hate - wasn't intended.
These threads depress me because they remind me that even on the best site for discussing manga, nearly everyone has really shitty taste.
This was great.
Maybe... Maybe it's you who got shitty taste.
Anyone bother reading Samura's new stuff?
Only one chapter is translated, and he's going fucking overboard with his fetishes.
Looks like he can't be fucked to actually care about the writing.
I'm generally nicer to mangafags on here. Comes with the territory. Although god forbid I respond to people looking for edgy, gory, horror shit.
And what kind of taste is 'good'? And who are you calling the best site? I sure hope that's not /a/. Because it's the only place to really discuss manga. It's not like I spend every day reading Tezuka.
Because that would mean that liking shitty rom-coms and pandering garbage means you have good taste.
So I take it Batoto is being DDOS'ed?
Unless it's FMD that's clogging their servers.
You do know that most people have already read whatever you deem 'good' and now are reading whatever they see looks interesting. Stop being new.
I'm not too much into that either. I tried a few horror things, but never got into it. Only the arms peddler got my attention, but through it got kind of a horror feel it's nothing like the edgy / gore kind of horror - it's a great adventure manga aswell, just a different feel than other adventures.
>implying someone who uses that reaction image has any right to comment on taste.
It's not even a fucking manhwa.
It's a fucking webcomic in manhwa style.
Also, manhwa is complete garbage.
shit taste man
Manwha isn't shit, it's the manwha authors who are shit. Webtoons are shit on their own though.
It's not so much that I'm not into it, it's that it's the inevitable /b/tard looking for it a bunch of the time. There is a lot of stupid stuff, there's some good stuff.
You know, you dudes are a little late. This place just has such nice quirks.
I can use whatever reaction images I damn want.
Also, just because someone uses a reaction image doesn't mean they liked or have watched/read the series.
>you dudes are a little late.
I can't resist.
I've had an irrational hatred of manhwa ever since I read fucking Rebirth all those years ago.
I loved that shit.
Jesus, did that crap rip off The Golden Age or what?
my actual list
Yeah. You're the prime example.
Read the first chapter of Real Account. The art looked familiar so I decided to take a look.
Oh boy, it seems to be like a Twitter death game. Or I suppose a bit of a mishmash with Facebook. 10,000 players, half of them appear to die on the first day. This sounds awfully familiar. Why do people still lap up this death game shit? I suppose I only have myself to blame for even paying attention. At least I managed to drop Kamisama no Iutoori 2.
New chapter when?
I'm trying to pick up enough manga to have a few new chapters to read every day.
This is my latest acquisition. It's neither good for my sides nor my heart, though.
Does anyone here ever buy tankoubons of authors they really like?
I know some people can't read moon and would see them as fancy paperweights, but has there ever been a series you liked to the point where you had considered it?
The only time I've considered it is Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. Still haven't bitten the bullet though.
I have, feels like a waste of money in the end though since I still only can read it online.
I thought about it with Kokou no Hito. Since the series has some volumes almost textless, would be that big of a loss.
And besides, there's a italian edition, and that's a language I can try to learn more easily
The YKK tanks are beautiful. They got a re-release a few years back and were well worth the purchase. If you don't read any moon then I can understand your hesitation though.
How do you guys track your series?
Preferable not online services. Or at least software that sources from an online database but can function offline.
Started reading Angel Densetsu thanks to another thread earlier today.
>/a/ feels worse than usual.
it's beacuase valentine's day
Which was 3 days ago.
>people actually suggesting KNIM is a good manga
Wow, what the fuck is wrong with you guys?
It ended, you can drop the stupid hivemind.
some fag are still grumpy
It's terrible and by no means an example of good romance. Just look at the characters, 250+ chapters and they barely developed at all, they behave exactly like they did in frist volume.
I wonder if you really read the manga if you are saying that. But don't worry, I'm not in the mood to discuss this.
>if you really read the manga
I read it, Haruto is still the same dumb and whimsical guy as he was in the early chapters.
>Hurr you seem tired, let's broke up
Yeah, still the same stupid guy.
Ah, you dropped it and just followed the discussion.
Except I followed it every week, because it was too late to bail.
And don't pretend like he had any good excuse for the last break up, it's just him jumping to conclusion (like what he always did) because apparently Eba was fine with the long distance relationship thing.
addicted to c- yeah... nevermind.
>/a/ feels worse than usual.
even this manga thread is horrible (and manga threads are usually good). Guess I should leave /a/ for awhile
Is it just me or batoto looks like without styles?
kaibutsu ending sucked monkey balls
good thing I didn't read it. How was the anime compared to the manga?
Someone here recently recommended Onani Master Kurosawa. Let me just say that manga was so good. The ending left a good taste in my mouth compared to other mangas. I recently just started reading mangas so can anyone here recommend me another good one?
Really good, I liked the art in the anime more, it was stylish and pretty funny, you missed the threads that were decent and had some nice people on it.
That guy is a genius with drawing the human body. Standing still, swinging swords, pretty much anything he makes look divine.
You'll love Wrestle! The Underground even more then, especially if you love ENF. Hard as fuck finding the raws though.
You can export your mangaupdates lists, I do that every now and then in case the site is taken down.
Just read the first three volumes of Bokura no Hentai.
For anyone that's read it was Yui-chan's sister getting raped?
Same author: Molester Man
Really, I would just start picking stuff off of the charts like this one. This is not quality of the manga, just the art. The title can be confusing.
And this one, keep in mind that you are more than welcome to drop a series but you might want to skip ahead because some can drastically improve themselves in the later volumes.
Like how in Narutaru the first impressions is some happy SoL with hijinks her new alien friend get into.
I remember this.
I was horribly disapointed it was a battle manga.
I actually think I like more non-highlighted than highlighted titles on that...
Is there a part 2?
Well, I'm keeping up with 41 manga.
Other than that, I'm reading The Ravages of Time. While the constant schemes and plot twists make it interesting, the action scenes themselves are very boring. I think it'll get better later on, which is why I keep on reading. Also, it has nice art.
I know it's a manhua, give me a break.
Yeah, I really like Kitoh's work and I think the creator of that list had a bias against it. Decent list because of the size though, has helped me choose series I might not have seen before. The list is also fairly out of date.
It needs more Thorkell.
I think all the manga charts are fairly out of date.
I'm reading Tokyo ESP. So far it's fairly standard shounenshit but FeMC is a qt pie and there are fun things such as flying penguins and hippos with superpowers.
I'd agree with that, and they tend to favor what I can only call an "artsy" style of manga heavily.
This >>102229344 was updated last winter.
There are tons of new series I follow, but you have to admit the list of top tier completed (and translated) series which is mainly what the charts are for is added to rarely.
Frankly I think it's better off outdated.
There's an entire chart full of what really is mostly action.
>go through whole thread
>No Desert Punk
>ctrl+F it, still no results
That can't be right. Surely someone else on /a/ enjoys this marvel.
I do, but the current plot is confusing me. But then again, I'm following pretty much everything in this thread. I have a lot of free time.
Why are Vagabond scans so shit? This one is old, but the ones being made now are really fucking bad. Where can i find good ones, if there are actually any?
If I got it right, Sunabozu & co. are being forcibly employed by a secret organization that has a plan to overthrow the current government (the "opposing party"). The guy with the mechanical limbs and the other shadowy figures are pawns of the government, a counter-intelligence of sorts, which are in the current arc trying to root out Natsuko and her group; that's why now Sunabozu and her brothers are trying to rescue her.
Also, Sunabozu has a plan above it all. I think he wants a spot at the government for himself, but certainly it wouldn't be something so obvious.
That's the gist of what I got but Sunabozu's sudden personality change, and the costume change along with the length between chapter updates makes me feel slow in the head. I'll probably go back through it once the arc ends.
Because obviously tanks vs magazines. Most groups hardly even work on tanks these days.
Frankly your best bet is the physical English volumes and when someone ever bothers to scan them.
>tfw no gf with fap fuel
Post the next page.
>Almost regretting his decision to come to the school, Saito wishes that somehow their dorm rooms would connect to each other. Magically, because it turns out that Subaru wished the same thing, their wish comes true but, in return, Subaru loses her self-control for one hour per day. During that time, her erotic desire for Saito, that she can normally hide, comes pouring out and her true intentions are revealed. He wants to take advantage of this once in a lifetime chance but doing so might jeopardize their relationship during the other 23 hours.
mite b kul
It's worth the read, definitely in my top ten for fighting manga.
I think it anime that excels in certain artistic styles, rather than manga. As I said the title is confusing.
This one was not completed as it was in the process of updating, though there is an older completed version somewhere. Probably at
There are other charts there too.
Just caught up on the latest volume of Heroine Shikkaku, a manga where the stereotypical shoujo villain is the MC.
God damn does this shit ever make me angry, fucking Rita.
The punchline would need 2 more pages unfortunately
In honor of the olympics, everyone should be reading Nononono.
I was thinking the same thing.
The plural of manga is manga.
Same artist, not the same author.
Fucking rape culture, worst boy a shit.
I'm waiting for more chapters to read in one go.
>a manga where the stereotypical shoujo villain is the MC.
I read that as "the stereotypical shoujo MC is the villain." I'm a bit disappointed, but still sounds interesting.
>the stereotypical shoujo MC is the villain
Well, if you take the "shoujo MC" to mean the male lead, it kind of is this as well.
Quick /a/, what's that manga with the fluffy cat where you can see his thoughts?
Basically, nothing has happened. So just keep enjoying the tasty bodies.
Great, you described the entirety of the wife's sex life.
I bet you could google talking cat manga and find it.
Yes! I just found it anyway by looking through 15 pages of "that fucking cat" on the archive.
Glad to see Adventures of Nympho-chan got popular here.
Well, take solace in the fact that Tonnura-san is worth the effort.
I recently read through Yankee-kun to megane chan and loved it, felt as though I spent the 3 years with daichi and the lot.
Are there any more good SoL/school life manga like this I've already read yamada kun
Why do all my favourite things have the worst release schedules?
Zai x 10
Try out Kyou kara ore wa. It's pretty old but I reckon you'd like it.
already read it, was great - currently reading one outs
