If Shirou can analyze the structural composition of any sword, and Shirou/Archer is a sword, why couldn't he recognize that Archer is his future self at first glance?
>What is a metaphor???
Shirou is actually made of swords tho
>If Shirou can analyze the structural composition of any sword
Not until after Archer's already gone.
He never analyzed Archer
hurr why didn't he know seibah was king arthur at first glance after looking at her sword
She never showed her sword until she shouted "EXCALIBAAAAH!"
After that it was pretty obvious who she was.
Could Shirou analyze Shichika?
By that time Shirou would've been torn into pieces.
Could Shirou trace Shichika?
Shirou's pretty good at making swords, but not much good at anything else. But he can make things like the Gem Sword, which isn't really very sword-y, it's just shaped that way.
So if 'being sword-shaped' is the only requirement, could Shirou project a sword-shaped airplane? Or a sword-shaped nuclear reactor? He could build sword-shaped mansions for people. He could feed the hungry with swords made out of bread.
This might be the only time Shirou's denseness would make sense.
Unlimited Shichika Works
