An action based anime with the same story as it's manga counterpart is always objectively better because you can't portray motion and impact in the same way you can in animation.

I actually agree on general principle, though there can be exceptions for really shitty anime adaptations - while action mangas CAN be very good, adding the dimensions of motion and sound makes scenes far more powerful if done half well.
