Archa had a hard life.
I was seriously distressed when I read that. I was so mad at Shirou and his stupid fucking ideals. God damnit, I'm still mad.
As if you need to ask
>white knights ain't supposed to get bitches
>shirou's rollin' in bitches
Shirou is just another faker trying to copy the King of Heroes style
Even down to the hair
King of Heroes is best!
>Chose his path willingly
He knew what he was getting himself into
He didn't know about that shit.
Shirou never thought that he should love though, nor that anyone should love him.
Shirou deliberately ignores, misses, and disregards any kind of romance and love related to himself, as he figures he should have no part of such things.
People still call him dense, even through he is otherwise proven to be quite adept at reading both situations and people.
That love thing is just something where he through some pretty stubborn effort keeps himself out of it all.
Wait, did they just reuse the same hill every time?
>He knew what he was getting himself into
He didn't. He got the opposite of what he wanted. He wanted to save people before disaster struck, but as a guardian he had no such choice.
He couldn't even choose who could live or die, he was just made to kill.
He wanted to become part of a solution. But while he arguably did become a hero, he became a part of the problem.
Shirou and Arthur shared "the same" hill, yes.
They are alike and all. I am guessing it's supposed to represent how their efforts ended them the same way or something.
He could've just ignored his impossible ideals or became a cop. The minute he wanted to be "An alley of justice" he knew that he would have to be a moralfag
>he knew that he would have to be a moralfag
That was never the issue though.
And how Takeuchi just didn't want to draw another hill
No doubt. Of course.
It saddens me that Taiga was single.
Oh Taiga, you card. To bad you'll never get a route I guess.
Hey, she's free to be you're waifu!
I think he means Saber and Archer having the same (or at least very similar) hills.
Can't say you know much about Archer's story until you E-Matrix him in Extra
What disappointed me about FSN is Archer had little to no interaction with Saber, or anything that showed Saber meant a lot to him.
Not that there was any room in the routes for that, but I wish Saber was faced with more conflict over her Master being another Master's Servant. You'd think Archer could lecture Saber in a more personal way than Gilgamesh or Alexander could.
I know. The little hints given at UBW was nice, but other than that, it was rather put off.
Fake Assassin from FSN lived a hard life.
Not really. It was uneventful, but he supposedly led an easy life.
Sounds like Archer became a less-than-omnipotent Dr. Manhattan in a Watchman-style universe
>died nameless, alone, forgotten by everyone and stuck at some shitty temple
Just about everyone dies that way minus the temple part. 100 years from now, no one will remember you or I, either. Not being remembered is hardly a crappy life. We don't really know enough about him to make that call.
He just wanted to be a hero.
Sadly, the Counter Force doesn't work like he wanted.
>100 years from now, no one will remember you or I, either. Not being remembered is hardly a crappy life.
He was a farmer. Probably wasn't too poor and had enough to get by. Maintained his farm on routine, and spent close to 100% of his remaining time engaging in his hobby, swordplay.
He was a hermit, but he wasn't poor. He had a hobby.
Uneventful, but hardly hard.
extra archer the best
First one posted probably comes after this one
It's Kerry's fault! Kerry killed Shirou's parents and accidentally forced his messed up ideals on him!
He wanted to save everyone. Then he realized, even with superpowers, it's still not possible.
Extra Archer literally is FSN Archer, but over the course of the journey he was able to make peace with himself in a different sort of way than in UBW. Might be more permanent as well depending on how Mooncell works.
Although we do get to see a more personal side of him this time around, which is nice.
I don't even care about other people remembering me. But if I'm dead I won't be able to remember all the anime I watched. That's at least 10x worse than by hard drive dying.
It's literally stating the same stuff that was revealed in Unlimited Blade Works.
it was really cute how sweet he was to FeMC/MC at the end of the game
like that part at the very end where he stays with you as you both disintegrate into data
Not only that. But as part of the counter force, Archer killed an infinite number of people.
And he never wanted to kill one. It was unacceptable.
There are good reasons for why he wanted to kill himself. He never even thought he lived his life wrong, he just realized that Emiya Shirou, should never have become a hero.
That hero just did more harm than good after all, as far as their ideals are concerned.
>Extra Archer literally is FSN Archer
Talks more in depth about what kind of hero he was, his friend who betrayed him, why he betrayed him, and how he died to the courts a bit more.
Mooncell summoned his counterpart from the fifth war there, just like it summoned Tamamo from a previous war to fight against current Tamamo. Doesn't mean Tama and Tama aren't the same person.
>Nasu: He is the same Acrher from "Fate". But in the game I made it so his name remains hidden. He is the representative of the nameless heroes that sacrificed their all for justice, but were not recognized by the people. This is the reason why Archer is referred to as nameless even though he used to have a name. It's not that he won't reveal it, he just doesn't have one. Not having a name is proof of his existence as a heroic spirit. To those who have played Fate I assumed that they would understand "Oh, he doesn't have a name, but Archer's tru identity must be him after all". In the 5th week, he likens the invisible attacks of the enemy to invisible air, as if he knows Saber. And in the 6th battle vs Lancer he says "Let us be the last time we see eachother" to which lancer replies "Hah, shut up! That's my line", as if they know eachother. If it were a different Archer than from Stay/Night, saying such a thing would be unthinkable
Although you could maybe get away with the idea that his new experiences and ideals make him different in the way Shirou and Archer aren't the same.
Thread needs more Archer
Why doesn't Archer just trace Gae Bolg and snipe every Master/Servant from far away?
Having knowledge of all the Servants and Masters in the 5th War, that would be the most efficient way to kill everyone. Have Saber distract Berserker, snipe Ilya, etc.
Because he knew the prize was a joke and didn't care about the war at all
Although a lot is touched upon in UBW, just not in as much detail.
Do you think Archer and his friend experimented? It must get lonely being a hero....
He had a lover, Ilya.
>Taiga route never
Issei seemed game during lunch
Shirou x Issei is the truest love.
Ufotable is making the Issei Route calling it now
A hard life is just the price for being GAR
Well it is ufotable, I wouldn't put It past them.
