What's your favorite shonen, /a/?
It got the things right that I usually complain about other shonen getting wrong. Kazuki's power being a lance was a nice mix up, his normal friends didn't sidelined and ignored, the romance with Tokiko wasn't dragged out with shitty drama or third wheels, it wasn't afraid to poke fun at itself and it ended in a reasonable amount of time instead of dragging on for a decade or more.
JoJo, HxH only because they're currently airing and nothing else good is on.

This and One Piece
Define "shonen". The likes of Lucky Star and Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl are both adapted from shonen manga.
For me though: One Piece and Pokémon.
This thread again?
is OP worth starting? Its incredibly long
No idea, I'm a manga person.
Does it have to be anime to begin with?
It's most definitely worth it, try not to think about how long it is and just enjoy the ride. I had a huge break from OP so I decided to re watch it again and I'm taking my time by only watching 1 episode everyday.
The first half of One Piece is great, timeskip changed things a lot.
definitely. look up a guide to skip the filler, it'll help a lot. it's got a slow start but you'll enjoy it. post timeskip got kinda meh but it's been awesome in this current arc.
