Anyone else not like yuri? I don't even see the appeal.
>>
Two cute girls loving each other. It's adorable and endearing.
>>
>>102127453
Here.
It's boring shit with a cancerous vocal fanbase.
>>
Most yurifags are:

-3DPD lesbians
-People who watch anime for escapism very hard
-Neckbeards who think they are cute girls
>>
Yuri is boring and only liked by the worst kinds of people.
>>
>>102127513
That try to shoehorn it on everything.
>>
Some people don't find it boring. I think it's adorable, but I also like yaoi and traps, and I also like otomege.
>>
i dont like or dislike. i dont care about it either way.
the loud butthurt haters are annoying though. too much stupid noise.
>>
Think about it like this: Two pure 2D girls are in love with each other.
Without a penis or the misunderstandings of 2D boys, there can only be pure unadulterated love.

Of course, it only works when the characters aren't complete sluts, but otherwise, it really is pure love. An entirely emotional bond based on personality rather than the desire to copulate (which is instigated by 2D penis).

I don't even like yuri that much, but if it's done right, why the hell not?
>>
>>102127526
Or people who find it adorable and endearing.

>escapism
That would be waifufags or haremfags.

Another Chagen thread. Just report it.

>An entirely emotional bond based on personality rather than the desire to copulate (which is instigated by 2D penis)
>yurifags actually believe this
Even poorly done het romance in anime is better than good yuri.
>>
>>102127671
We're talking 2D girls here, anon.
>>
>>102127646
>I-it's just one person who doesn't like what I like!

When did t/u/mblr take over both /a/ and /co/ and we have to check our privilege daily?

>conspiracy bullshit

Is Chagen the /u/ boogyman or something?

Here. http://fuwanovel.org/novels/lonely-yuri Try this one!
>>
Don't like it because the image of a fat 24 year old guy masturbating to 12 year old girls kissing eachother gives me a bad taste in the mouth.

And adult 2D lesbians are bitches anyways.
>>
>>102127837
Yuri != porn
>>
>>102127861
>has never been in a Sakura Trick thread

Ecchi is not porn.
Might be enough for some people, but it's really a small amount.
>>
I also think yuri is beautiful.
As a Guy I'm neither a Lesbian, nor am I watching Anime for escapism or think I'm a cute girl. Outside I'm just your average joe.

I'm also not obsessed with yuri. I just happen to find it very beautiful. I also get the feeling the D will defile the otherwise white bedsheet the "Pure" yuri love is.
Of course there is no such thing irl. But seriously we are on /a/ here! If one does not like yuri, I can understand. I did not see its appeal a long time too.
>>
I don't understand the appeal but I don't hate it. The fanbase is annoying though.

I didn't see the appeal until I watched Yuru Yuri

I guess I don't mind yuri as a concept, but some of the prevalent themes kinda piss me off for some reason.

Stuff like pairing up a bold and dominant girl with a timid and compliant girl. Or two innocent girls painfully awkwardly stumbling into love without either of them having any idea how to proceed. Or a comic relief lesbian acting ridiculously shameless and perverted towards some girl, doing stuff that any male character would have gotten beaten up for.

These kinda things just really turn me off.
>>
>>102128173
how would you do it differently anon ?
>>
>>102127453
I like it when it's not serious, like in Yuru Yuri and played of as a bit of a joke. I have zero interest in serious Yuri romance though.
>>
>>102130851
same here. I just like how my dick sometimes gets hard when girls make out in anime
>>
>>102127453
I don't like Yuri for the sake of it. However, it can be done right. Same for yaoi. Shingo Shoji and Takeshi Nakazato from Initial D is a good exemple. While not officially a couple, they do argue like one.

Fuck you these are the best things ever and you are wrong on both counts here.

>comic relief lesbian acting ridiculously shameless and perverted towards some girl, doing stuff that any male character would have gotten beaten up for.

However to give credit where credit is due, this does get on my nerves when it shows up in places it doesn't belong.
