What now? Should I just buy a Vita or spend the next few months improving my Japanese
It's so stupid to stop the translation project, the game is even on a different console anyway.
Keep crying poorfags. Just bought the first one from NISA.
Pretty sure if they continued they would get slapped with a cease and desist
2 Years here 2 hours a day and still nowhere near close to being able to read the game without a dictionary on hand and a shit load of time.
Take that as my retardation or not, but just I just got a Vita and play with JP voices.
Okay you're doing something wrong or you're slow. Its okay some people are slow learners
That's quite a feat to be that slow. You retarded? ok if you are good effort
They could release it anonymously.
I've been frequently the Daily JP thread since they started so I doubt I'm really doing anything they wouldn't do. Aniki reps, VNs with Text Hooker, finished Tae Kim and Genki. I guess I'm just slow.
I believe in you
You won't get shit from tuning into that thread, just trolled by others who already know/think they know japanese. Use it for the resources. I'm reading LNs after a month.
>not Super Danganronpa 2 Turbo HD Remix
I know is not the same, but I have shit genetics and a really weak body and I've been lifting about a year or so with a good diet and I see people having better results in 6 months.
Brother, if you're learning and improving, it doesn't matter how much time it takes, just keep it up. Some people are just much better than others at something. You aren't gonna learn if you give up, that's for sure, so keep it up.
You guys should keep an eye out for cheap OLED Vitas.
I'm sure a lot of retailers will be doing a lot of sales to clear them out.
>Use it for the resources.
Yeah, I know that. I don't really posted unless there is something I really don't understand at all. Even then I also use multiple sources, Tangorin, renshuu, etc...
At this point I'd rather kill myself then quit knowing I've used up years of my life trying to master it. Even on the bad days the thought of that keeps me well and going.
As a member of PZ, I'm kinda glad that this happened. I think the announcement of the DR1 localization did a number on our productivity so the SDR2 effort was limping along. Now PZ can focus on the novels.
ALPHA AS FUCK
The official localization was cancelled?
But what about the fantranslation
You have that backwards. Official localization was announced, fanslation canceled.
I just hope oren doesn't drop his LP.
Even though I haven't checked it since halfway into the second chapter.
eeeh, but only the Vita version is being localized.
Guess its another reason to get a Vita...
Pls do. Only thing keeping it alive is japanese games and more localizations should be encouraged.
I think he was gonna stop it if a localization was announced.
This is why turning translation projects into a public group and blogging about it is cancer. If it was just some niggers doing it discretely no one could stop them,
Doesn't this exciting announcement brings you HOPE?
That's why people are pissed.
>2 years 2 hours a day
Jesus man, have you really been studying two hours everyday?
I started to study for real this year, sometimes I skip a day, but I can read hira/kata and like 50 kanjis (slow, but still).
Try writing them a couple of times so you can memorize them better.
dungeon rapist 2?
If only they would localize more Vita games it would be a must buy for me.
At least theres Danganronpa, Akiba Street and Conception, three games I never thought would be oficially localized, so I guess more will be coming in the future.
There's not as much motivation on translating licensed games as compared to licensed anime.
The difference in workload is staggering.
Where and how? The cheapest I have seen is $150.
All those delicious piratefag tears.
I grew to like Nisa's translation and the reason for some changes. Saying "The Blackened" when referring to the killer is a bit retarded though, sure Kuro translates to black, but it just doesn't right.
You're just dumb. No one is stopping PZ but themselves. They did it out of respect for NISA. Also, it's pretty painful to translate something that someone else is doing, even if some people think your translation will be better
Maybe someone will crack the vita rom, extract the text, and dump it into the psp rom. We can dream.
Time to buy a Vita, I guess.
It's ok, I'm in the same boat.
Linguistics has never been my strong point.
>No one is stopping PZ but themselves. They did it out of respect for NISA.
Then they're faggts.
So guys about that translation project.
I guess it will die now?
Not pertaining to anime/manga.
It's as death as your waifu.
oh I didn't see>>102063559
Never mind. Have some more best DR2
>announcing your reports
I don't see the word "report" anywhere in there.
I have hope both are alive and okay
It doesn't need to be. You did nothing but point out which rule the thread is breaking.
Took me like 6 or 7 years of semi-frequent VN reading with dictionary support before I could read fluently without it.
Just keep at it.
Maybe its a dumb question, but is there any dictionary online that makes it easy to find kanjis?
I learned english by translating every word of the games I played, but I its hard to do the same with japanese because it can take a while to find one kanjis when theres like 2,500 of them.
Learn your radicals. and how they are placed in kanji. Once you do it should be easy.
You need to read using some kind of text hooker. Drawing by hand or looking up by radical is too time consuming.
You can graduate text hookers when you know at least one of the readings of the most common Kanji.
