Seeing as Kill la Kill is beginning to wrap up to projected success and fame, an important question must be asked.
What will be Trigger's next animated work or series upon KLK's conclusion? Will it be an adaptation or another original work?
>the 2nd LWA OVA doesn't count
More Inferno Cop to fund their next TV anime.
[Spoiler]Directed by Hideki Anno[/spoiler:lit]

The LWA movie.
They buy the rights for pic related and turn it into a 2 cour, 26 episode series.
>Inferno Cop......but animated and with a budget
Just imagine the possibilities.
Silly anon, based Xebec is obviously spearheading the LoGH ReAdaptation.
>Ruining Inferno Cop
You adorable little hipster.
Yeah, that's never happening. It's a shame though.
If I were Trigger what I'd do next is just a normal show, something pleasant and cute but still with a bit of signature Trigger craziness.
It will be advertised as such from the start so people's expectations are set at the right level.
It will set the standard of 'this is the sort of stuff we'll do when we're chill'.
>1st cour is gangsterisms and the search for LahLah
>2nd cour is OTP trekking and BAD END
Shit would be pretty cash.
A SoL about loli accountants.
>Trigger doing SOL or rom-coms
No fucking thanks.
What I think they'd want to avoid is being typecast as 'That one studio that will always do crazy over the top awesome shows.'
They need to show early that they have variety.
Hell, Little Witch Academia counts as "something pleasant and cute but still with a bit of signature Trigger craziness" and I don't see you complaining about that
A comedy would be nice.
An adaptation of Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer.
Comedies are a joke, from the sales perspective.
>What will be Trigger's next animated work or series upon KLK's conclusion?
Something terrible and un-watchable, but will still be watched by trigger fanboys.
TTGL was "crazy over the top awesome"
KLK is "fanservice and overbudgeted hentai"
your post is "shitposting of the worst kind"
and you should back to "your tumblr shithole"
I came into the thread to post the exact same thing. Too bad it will never happen though.
>It will set the standard of 'this is the sort of stuff we'll do when we're chill'.
>this is the sort of stuff we'll do when we're chill'
We already know Panty and Stocking and Inferno Cop is the kind of shit they do to relax.
Don't make to dig up the ratings and preorders, faggot.
Akame ga Kill
Come on, you guys know you want it.
You don't have to get preorders since the first volume came out over a month ago and it made it above 10k.
>there will never an Astroliner adaptation because >2006, >4.C Studios, >Black MC and >music video.
Feel with me.
It's only successful because of the staff.
People are slowly realizing how crappy Trigger actually is, so their sales will go down as they make more works.
What? Got your finger on the pulse of the anime audience zeitgeist or something? What, did you take some massive poll or something? Your post is hurting my reason-oriented mind.
The way you absolutely want trigger to fail is both cute and autistic.
Except the preorders have been skyrocketing since Battlefield Trip mini-arc and the show is only picking up more steam.
There's is no logical or empirical basis to believe that sales are going to drop any time soon.
Turning Girls: The Movie
They're making a sequel to Little Witch Academia (or so I thought they said).
Otherwise, who friggin knows? It's be completely strange for them to revisit old Gainax properties like Panty and Stocking, which despite the way it ended was presumably intended to never get a sequel.
Kill-la-Kill is definitely successful but it's not a success on the scale that would propel it to the loftiest reaches.
I would speculate that it's likely that it will be at least a year, if not longer, between when KLK ends and their next TV anime project begins. They seem to be a very careful and low-output studio.
Imaishi said that Trigger would never do adaptations.
>They seem to be a very careful and low-output studio.
It's not that they are careful, they just have a small staff.
>Imaishi said that Trigger would never do adaptations.
Living dangerous, huh. In that case who fucking knows.
Did he really? Where did you read that? I mean, it's a noble aspiration from an artistic point of view, but there is money in them there adaptations.
Probably something stupid or with robots.
A dark, serious but hot-blooded militarized mecha series similar to the original Gunbuster.
>something stupid with robots
Really!? That's my favorite thing.
Hopefully some mecha musume.
Hopefully something that could fill the role of this generation's Lain or Akira.
A psychological action thriller with steam/cyberpunk aspects and a really brutal, unforgiving setting where even main characters aren't safe.
What is Psycho Pass S2?
Best studio ever.
Hoshi no Samidare
I've been kinda curious what would happen of Masaaki Yuasa and Trigger teamed up, but I dunno the chances of that actually happening.
The great fedora'ing would be upon us. Trigger would be become the icon of hipsters globally to the point that it becomes akin to a world religion.
What? I just want to see what it'd look like if Yuasa's surreal style was mixed with Trigger's action scenes.
Inferno Coppu S2.
About 60% of the fanbase it got thanks to tumblr and /v/ will leave because of the graphics, and anime will be saved once again.
