We always talk about Adventure and Tamers but what are your thoughts about Frontier?
Only seen part of the dub.
From the start, I was interested because back in the day, I had imagined much the same ideas and plot. The OP that wasn't DI-DI-DI-DIGIMON was also nice.
Still haven't finished it. Want to go back and watch all the seasons someday.
I liked it a lot but it was pretty angsty.
it sucks, and I am not a big fan of digimon but this one was horrible.
Great idea executed poorly.
Underrated. Although it really isn't digimon. More like digital power rangers.
I do like it, probably more than other Digi-fans, but really only up to when Cherubimon is defeated. After that it starts to drag really really hard
Seems like the general consensus on it.
it was pretty good until this faglord was introduced
Zoe a best digigirl
Needed more zoe up skirting and fan service.
Was frontier suppose to be a prequel to adventure?
Bitch please Mimi is!
I remember that I liked the opening when I was watching it as a kid, but that's pretty much the only thing I remember about it, I watched it infrequently. I guess it wasn't that great.
She diffidently the most slutty digiGirl.
I remember watching the dub I disliked it because it took away the partners. Sure fighting as a digimon was cool but I liked the Digifusions of Season 3 better.
Dropped it when it aired in German TV at the point where the other digidestined became more and more useless.
I'm thinking about giving it another chance in the future.
Ranamon = Best girl
I liked it more than most of the other series when i was younger mostly because I always felt bad about the digidestined using their digimon to fight (like letting your friends fight your battles for you) and in frontier the kids WERE the digimon
and then I found DATS online and loved it
Personally, that's why I was really interested in Frontier when it started airing. While I loved Adventure, I always thought that it would have been nice for Tai and company to actually do something other than stand around making speeches and groping their Digivices.
And then when Tamers came along and hit the last arc and we got the Biomerge stuff, I was all sorts of hyped because the tamers and Digimon were fighting alongside each other to win the day.
And that's what I thought Frontier would be like, though it ended up not being so. Still need to finish watching it sometime.
I liked it a lot, there were a lot of cool Digimon designs and the characters were pretty varied. The arc with the two knights was pretty bad though.
You call that edgy?
You don't know the meaning of the word edgy.
the english OP is god tier
I watched that show as a kid, did Caillou actually get cancer?
I really liked it, it had some flaws and the 2nd half fell apart a bit but I just enjoyed the first half so much.
You honestly haven't notices he has cancer? A four year old being bald like caillou it's self should be a red flag. You never thought that was odd?
Royal Knights were annoying as FUCK. Other than that, pretty good.
Best evolution song:
I thinks she one of few digigirls that probably had sex in the digital world at that age.
Did the news crushed your childhood?
Wasn't as good as Tamers.
Oh god.... It all makes sense. Why would a four year old want to shaved his hair like that?
A solid entry in the franchise, unfortunately released after the agreed best and the fan favorite
At least it wasn't 02
Oh never-mind, you're just an idiot.
The original books yes. The cartoon never outright said caillou has cancer. But it was strongly hinted.
>watched that show as a kid
Unless you're French I think that makes you underageb&.
caillou named after a kid that died in a car accident for good reason.
Awesome idea, horrible execution.
Really sidelined everyone that wasn't Takuya or Koji. They should've brought in the Ancient forms because everyone had them, even if they did get an appearance in the movie but just the main two though.
It's a really shitty version of Adventure. I mean, look at that first episode. It just assumes everyone watching is familiar with Digimon and makes no attempt to ease you into its world. Maybe that makes sense because it's the fourth season, but it's a brand new universe.
Technically speaking, it's strong. Good character designs, good new Digimon, the Trailmon/railroad motif is cool... A lot of good ideas and concepts executed very poorly.
I don't really find frontier to be that bad. People don't like it because no digimon partners and the humans transform into power rangers.
