Christ, why are schools in anime/manga always depicted as either a utopia where everyone is cool and super special or as hell on earth where you get bullied for being poor/rich, having parents, being smart/stupid, liking/hating somebody?
>what is a genre
>has never watched hyakko!
Japan can't into subtlety.
>Implying Hyakko! isn't full of cool and super special people
Stop samefagging, OP. As I said in >>102022901 you have either a comedy or a drama as genre and the audience is supposed to get what is written on the label. There are also mixed genres, but you being a newfag have not seen them yet
most SoLs don't have people cool nor special
Hyakko had drama and family problems mixed into a lighthearted and funny setting.
Thus OP claiming those genres must be mutually exclusive has been proven wrong.
Watch more anime/manga.
>He's replying to the thread and he's not me!
>He must be OP!
Ya missed me
Dropped it at the page with the scissor shurikens. way over the top.
>Why are characters special
Not OP but OP never said that it couldn't be a utopia and a hell at the same time, either.
Because comics and cartoons tend to overdraw, that's kinda the point
