Yes. First anime I masturbated to.
7/10, even better than currently airing shows.
Of course I remember Chobits. I even bought the limited-edition scented DVD set. It wasn't really supposed to be scented, they just put too much masking fragrance in the printing ink.
Remember when Chobits were 2lewd4you?
Wouldn't be considered lewd at all if it aired now.
I remember watching this thinking it was so cool with all the lewd references.
I watched the first couple of episodes, then stopped. I want to finish it, but I dont' have the time. I expected something like Love Hina, but all I got was heavy robot girls who wanted love...?
Probably the first anime that made me cry like a little bitch.
The Ueda backstory episode is still one of my favorites of any anime.
I remember it was the Meguka of the early 2000s - a mediocre series with a bunch of autistic girls (b-b-b-but they are robots) that goes from generic shit to derp and gets high acclaim for doing so.
The shit taste of anime watcher really has not changed all that much in the last 12 years.
>Do you remember Chobits and its God-tier ED
Yes OP. Yes I do
I get hard to the thought of Chi peeing herself on the floor and not knowing whats happening and then she pees some more on my chest and i rub it
Best CLAMP manga after CCS.
CLAMP really fell in the wayside nowadays, huh
>autistic girls in frilly dresses then
>autistic girls in frilly dresses now
I don't see the difference.
The only Clamp work I like is RG Veda.
>I don't see the difference.
i'm talking about in relevance
compared how much peeps talked about CLAMP in early 2000s compared to now except for maybe Code Geass
Actually, personally I think that would be Angelic Layer. Chobits is definitely third though.
>criticizing the taste of others
You're right, but you STILL manage to have shit taste.
We don't have enough fujoshji here. I'm sure tumblr still talks about them.
Of course they're not as big as they used to be because they don't milk their one successful series (like for instance but not limited to - Anno).
I congratulate them for their "artistic" integrity, though they use it to make almost exclusively boys love nowadays.
Yeah the OP was pretty cool.
That isn't a very hard thin to do, considering this season
Where did I say I like Oreimo, I like the image because of the irony but also the truth of the observation.
Yeah the manga is wonderful. The anime is mediocre.
I assumed you liked Oreimo, my mistake.
My first anime.
>even better than currently airing shows.
Winter is generally a shit season. That's not even hard
This is a pretty good season though, even without the things from fall.
And yet there's at least 3 current shows I'd watch over Chobits I can come up with off the top of my head.
>Anything like Adomagi.
>you having it
Wait is this bizaro /a not a single just put it in her ass post yet.
>Eva is exactly like buddy complex, there's two guys who are probably gay for eachother, there's robots and a convoluted plot, They're even from two big name studios, same shit every year.
In retrospect, I'm pretty sure this is where I started liking Sugita
>I remember it was the Meguka of the early 2000s
Stopped reading there. You're a fucking retard.
I will try to explain this to you in a way even a moron can understand it.
I didn't say they share a resemblance in the plot, characters, or any other superficial characteristic.
I said they both got popular because they took a generic setting and added a twist which the autistic population finds deep and meaningful even though it's cheesy and lame.
I seriously still love Clamp's art
Can't get enough of the shoujo art.
They are barely even similar in any way, the same could be said about samumenco, Mikakunin, GuP, basically any story about normal people doing abnormal things. Their success was not because of the tweest, just look at samumenco.
>They are barely even similar in any way,
It seems you're a legitimate retard.
Yeah, just call me a retard. Don't refute my point of lots of other series doing something similar and not being successful at all. You sure know your stuff.
Is this show still worth watching if you've read the manga?
Which persocom would you fuck?
This is the one I would fuck.
So what did you think of the adaptation, /a/?
