>Episode starts with cecil complaining
>She gets a case because of all her "talent"
>Get paired up with kamakiri who has more expirienced
>Start complaining about him for half the episode
>Get told off by Natcchi
>ignore what she says and continues to bitch about Kamakiri for the rest of the episode
>kamakiri gets all the evidence that proves the victims innocence
>He even thinks up the plan that gets the confession
>Episode ends with cecil complaining and Kamakiri moonwalking out of the hospital
>Cecil somehow gets ALL the credit
They are trying really hard too make me not like cecil. Does anyone actually like the writting of this show? I can deal with how the cases are solved but the way cecil and the boss lady are written is unbearably annoying to me
Also, did they blow the budget already? This scene was fucking hilarious
It was painful waiting for the old guy to pull the answers out of his arse.
The part where Natcchi confronted her was probably the best #REKT moment I've seen in a while. Why isn't the show about Natcchi? Why are we forced to follow arguably the worst character in the series? How do the nips feel about this shit?
Did the RAPE happened already?
I only watch this to see Wakamoto frog molest Cecil.
>Cecil somehow gets ALL the credit
You what? Cecil is the only one thanked directly since the Kiri is busy faking death, which in itself was fucking stupid, but pretty much everyone, including Cecil herself, admits it was all him.
It has better writting that space autist, thats for sure.
Having to hear cecil constantly complain about him wasnt much help either.
At least the way he got them wasnt too bullshitty.
That would make sense if it wasnt for the fact the shark guys gave her most of the credit
Dandy has better writting than this
They used like one of the oldest cop/detective drama TV Tropes there is:
>Newbie doesn't understand why the veteran works the way they do.
>Newbie gets frustrated with veteran, claims veteran is to slow/old school.
>Newbie wants a new partner.
>Newbies boss reminds newbie that they are a newbie & they lack experience. Veteran knows their shit & you should learn from them.
>Newbie talks to veteran coworker who says the same thing as the boss.
>Case appears to be collapsing when suddenly veteran shows off their skills.
>Veteran proves themselves to newbie & newbie realizes they are a newbie & they have a lot to learn.
I'm not even bullshitting you. Go watch the first few episodes of ANY cop drama on tv right now. You will see some variation of this trope unless the MC is already a veteran.
How's the preorder sales doing?
And why is it flopping even though it has based Lia?
Thanks, captain obvious.
I dropped it on the mayonnaise.
No worries. They're just preparing for the inevitable rape scene that mindbreaks cecil and turns her into a cockfiend. It'll make it that much sweeter.
>They used like one of the oldest cop/detective drama TV Tropes there is:
I know they did but it was poorly used. Cecil really came off as unlikable in this episode and at the end when she says she need more experience it gets negated by someone yet again complementing her "talent"
You mean the one blonde faggot who hired her in the first place. And he doesn't even give her credit, just reiterates that they really want to hire her for what we can assume are magical cult reasons.
>That look of happiness when she though she would get a job
>utter disapointment when she didnt
Who are you quoting?
You guys think those conspirators they showed this episode are gonna go all Bible Black on Cecil?
At least Space Dandy is better than your grammar.
>magical cult reasons.
They're apart of it? I dont think i saw them in those scenes
You can always tell someone is a crossboarder by how much they greentext.
/a/ is my home board.
>le grammer police
lol, too bad dandy is still garbage. And way inferior to Barristers as well
I sure hope so or else this gonna flop.
Then why do you post like a /v/ermin?
you can always tell when people are trying to hard too fit in
Well they were staring ominously out the window at her in the first episode so they're probably scheming something along those lines.
This series isn't exactly big on subtlety.
>green text is exclusive to /v/
okay,wont use it again.
must have slipped my mind
Why did "crossboarders are bad" become a thing?
You people are fucking idiots. Browse whatever you feel like, just not /mlp/.
Who are you quoting?
While greentext is obviously not exclusive to any particular board, its primary purpose is for quoting. Writing out a long post in "greentext style" is both lazy and conducive to making low-quality posts.
In the future, please properly write your posts like a civilized person.
Also, I dislike Cecil. I watched one episode and I dislike her already. I don't think I'll give this the three episode rule, since I see nothing but threads bashing Wizard Barristers and Cecil.
You aren't missing much.
I'm basically only watching at this point because I'm already in too deep and want to see where it ends up.
The obvious meaning of "crossboarder" in this context is someone who used to browse low-quality boards like /b/ and /v/ and recently started posting (poorly) on /a/. It obviously is not a blanket term to refer to people that post on multiple boards; nobody is going to get angry at you for posting on /jp/ and /a/ at the same time. But if you can't realize something so simple, you aren't just a crossboarder, you're also unintelligent, so please lurk for at least a couple more months before posting.
Also from the latest ep, the cop that's in on the whole awakening crap is buddies with them.
Your elitism is showing.
>since I see nothing but threads bashing Wizard Barristers and Cecil.
Not like that matters, I see tons of threads praising kill la kill and is absolute shit, generic and QUALITY-ridden with bad art and animation
>Writing out a long post in "greentext style" is both lazy and conducive to making low-quality posts.
>In the future, please properly write your posts like a civilized person.
I used green text because I didnt feel like written and entire essay at three in the morning.
Again,/a/ is my home board.
I have started threads like that before and you are the only person who has ever complained. I will continue to post however I want
I'm not OP, and you're a faggot.
And who hasn't browsed /b/ in the past..? It was hilarious long ago.
Yea I know about the cop.
This is starting to remind me of Galileo Donna, good ideas completely wasted with a piss poor writing.
Unless their plan is making me not like Cecil, because then it's working.
I am not the only person who has ever complained. There have been at least two people, because I am not the person who originally complained. You don't seem to understand, so I am explaining to you why you were being criticized. I don't take a lot of offense to the way in which you composed your original post, but I can see why others might be upset.
Long ago, yes. We, or at least most of us, have started there. But like I said, the obvious meaning is that crossboarders have RECENTLY migrated, carrying over shitty posting habits from a board that is now full of shitposts.
Well, I don't think KLK is that bad. It's hardly "saving anime", but it is fun, mindless entertainment that cheers me up every Thursday night. As for the QUALITY, well, it can't be helped.
However, I don't think that /a/ is as united in criticism and hatred of any currently airing anime as it is for Wizard Barristers. I literally do not remember seeing a single positive thread about this anime, ever, and that has to count for something.
The plan is to make Cecil as unlikeable as possible then RAPE, just you wait Anon, it's gonna happen, mark my words.
>I am not the only person who has ever complained
I have only ever received a complaint in this thread.
Okay, but that isn't my point. There was someone who complained, and then there's also me, which means that there are at least two people who have complained. You said,
>you are the only person who has ever complained
which is patently untrue, because there was also the other person.
Don't like it? Go make your own chan. Fag.
Wizzard Barristers is it's own special brand of shit.
Good thing the opinion of entitled hipster contrarians around here is worth less than a grain of salt. I would be worried otherwise.
Well whatever, I'll continue to post how i want and if someone complains i'll deal with it then, again
Can you people stop talking about rape rape rape?
It wasn't funny in GD threads, and it's not funny here either.
It's managed to keep me interested, despite having admittedly laughable execution at points.
I'm also watching because I love Moyoyon.
It's grandma you dipshit
Why havent we dropped this show?. We all know its shit. Even the promising magic system turned into giant mecha fights. What are we waiting for?
were still waiting for the rape scene
I think most people are enjoying the frog. If only there were some way we could drop Cecil and keep Wakamoto frog.
>Why havent we dropped this show?
We are waiting for rape, hopefully of Sasori Koromo.
And I want to see what evil Tento Moyo will turn out to be.
Im hoping it turns around
Use a trip so I can filter you, scumbag
The frog serves no purpose except to molest cecil.
Cant you filter a name?. I only use a name because people said they wanted to be able to filter me.
His attitude is fun
Yeah, the part where he called Cecil out for being a whiner was awesome.
>Why havent we dropped this show?
I'm enjoying the show. Episode 5 was ok but episode 3 and 4 were pretty good in my opinion with the first 2 episodes being the worse mainly because Cecil felt more annoying or maybe I've become more tolerant of her as I watched more episodes.
By the way, is it just me or some of the decisions the characters make feel fucken stupid. Like its poor attempt at trying to show how the wizards are prejudiced e.g. How the prosecutors conclude in the first case that the fatty wizard was in on the robbery.
> What are we waiting for?
I'm kind of excited to see where this conspiracy shit is going to go.
>Good animation wasted for shitty chara design
>Budget blown in all the first michaelbaysplosions moments
>Feels like watching one of those typical german tv series about cops, but worst and with magic mechs
>AND YET NO FANSERVICE
I don't even know why I'm watching it anymore. I'll drop it if this doesn't get at least slightly entertaining by next week
>I'm kind of excited to see where this conspiracy shit is going to go.
What consipiracy? They flat out tell you that cecil is the choosen one and she is the strongest and that she is the one who will fufill the prophecy
Oh god, it's like Kommisar Rex but Cecil instead of a German Shepard. Now I understand why I'm still watching this.
Cecil didn't get all the credit. Everyone knows Kiri-jii is the shit.
I enjoyed this episode. It had more development than the rest in order to solve the case. It would have been great if it was more like this.
Yeah but we don't know what this prophecy is unless it's that wizard war they mentioned in one of the earlier episodes but then they mentioned something about killing humans in the latest episode so I don't know, writer may have fucked up there. Nevertheless, I want to see how this plays into the story.
>Yeah but we don't know what this prophecy is unless it's that wizard war they mentioned in one of the earlier episodes but then they mentioned something about killing humans
Pretty sure its a plot to kill the hummans and any wizards who side with them. This story is pretty straight forward
Speak for yourself, buddy. Apparently I'm the only one who genuinely likes it.
>Pretty sure its a plot to kill the hummans and any wizards who side with them.
I'm pretty they mentioned somewhere that the prophecy mentioned something about a war involving wizards fighting each other. I can't find the scene but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere unless I read the subs wrong
We're waiting for a mezzo forte remake.
Not the only one. Many anons like it, myself included.
Mark my words, Cecil will be crushed by the end of this anime.
>something about a war involving wizards fighting each other.
They did, notice how my post had two different factions of wizards. There's also the factor that humans are discriminatory against wizards. This fits perfectly.
>There's also the factor that humans are discriminatory against wizards
I like how they do the show don't tell approach for this rather the usual tell all that they do in a lot of anime but the execution of it is so damn bad with it's shitty writing though some reason I'm still able to enjoy this show.
Reminded me of this.
No, I hate everyone in that law firm besides Momoyon and the girl in your picture.
But Houtaru is a bit of a bitch with the no fun allowed attitude though if she loosens up a bit and allow just a bit more fun than usual, she would definitely be best girl.
I know despite her insecure bitchiness she still loads better than all the wankers working their, Momoyon excluded of course.
I don't claim to be entirely familiar with civil law systems but I feel like 99.9% of what is happening in this show is entirely outside the scope of a barrister or lawyers in general
Jesus, those animators need a lesson in perspective. All those books are wrong..
I wouldn't say all the other characters are bad in fact I don't mind them, they are pretty nice and sometimes enjoyable (except for Cecil when she goes full "EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!? AHHHHHHHHH!?" mode).
Out of curiosity, what do you find so amazing about Momoyon? In my opinion she is just as likeable as the rest of the cast and not particularly any better than the other characters (though I hate it when she does that mayonnaise and tomato sauce bullshit).
Also, Houtaru focused episode fucken when!? They fucken teased us with it at the beginning of the latest episode.
wud wud wud u fug?
Have they started being lawyers yet?
Or is it still mech battles.
Everything they do is either illegal or atleast the polices job. Why didnt they divide the show between cops and lawyers like america tv.
Having the lawyers solve crimes makes no sense
Momoyons cute. Cecil is dumb and naive. Head girl is MUH LAWS, defend everyone. Slut is slut (kinda hot), bee girl is bees. Horrible fashion sense guy is a straight A wanker. Old guy is slow and has severe communication problems.
That leaves Hotaru who is just bitchy, Momoyon and the receptionist. Quinn's annoying too, take the cigarette out when you talk, bloody hell.
And the other guy is just an emotional wreck.
Fuck that law firm.
This series may be the biggest bummer of the season. At least this arc isn't all that good.
I hope the next arc, when the secret cult gets the spotlight, becomes more interesting.
>Getting jealous of your co-workers
Yeah, this is totally like real life law firms where lawyers get jelly of people with more money, more cases and anyone working at a better firm.
In Civil and Common systems, lawyers only argue the case before the court.
For the sake of 'cool', they're also investigating and starting fights in this show.
