I've heard a lot of things about Mirai Nikki, and most of them are either extremely positive or extremely negative views on it.
So is this a story that I should experience, and if so should I read the manga or watch the anime? Is the negative reaction due to a bad adaptation?
Go away unless you want to be spoiled
I don't know anything about it and I don't plan on reading/watching it until my backlog is done.
I've read spoiler for stuff I never started before, doesn't make sense at all since I don't know anything about it
Follow this mans advice:
If you're interested in it, read/watch it before you read anything about it.
It's a series you need to watch unspoiled to have a full opinion on it.
You have one chance so don't blow it.
>most of them are either extremely positive or extremely negative views
Then why don't I just add that it's horribly mediocre and the only reason to read it was to speculate what the next retarded event was going to be. I don't believe the anime differs all that much, except inserting more grimderp backstories.
Well should I read or watch then?
CAN'T TOUCH THIS
you are now spoiled for the ending
I watched it and enjoyed it.
Read it first then watch it, just like Elfen Lied.
>tfw boner during rape scene
Why don't you just decide for yourself, or do both, you fucking faggot.
it was fun, had some great characters, and had decent art. the writing wasnt amazing, and the story gets shaky a little past the mid.
i personally loved it, mostly because of Yuno and 9th. It had its share of flaws, but its definately worth watching.
Elfen Lied definitely needs to be watched first, the Manga adds so much more stuff
what do you like more, faggot? reading or watching?
I was under the assumption that this was like FMA 2003 where a ton of stuff was changed around
The show was good, but the ending was shit and the OVA doesn't do much to make it less shit.
Maybe the manga was better, I don't know.
Why would that matter if you don't know either story?
Mirai Nikki is by no means a masterpiece, but it's not absolute shit either. It has a fairly interesting premise, and Yuno being a yandere basically carried the story.
There are some plot holes that are fussed about, and some of the characters are just plain annoying, but it's worth reading or watching. Just be warned that the ending is pretty damn terrible.
Also, I believe the anime adapted the manga pretty faithfully, but the source material is usually better anyways.
