What the hell happened? It started off so good then it just went completely off the rails into a stupid harem/love triangle story.
>It started off so good
Such low standards.
It's slim pickings for gender-bender manga.
What's with the typeset
It's just a cover.
Where were you expecting the story to go?
>a new fun series starts
>it becomes unexpectedly popular
>the author spills spaghetti
Happens every time, better get used to it.
What did you dislike about the ending? Its only problem was it was rushed, which makes me think the manga was axed. (In which case I doubt it was very popular.)
It essentially made 90% of the cast completely irrelevant weirdos-of-the-month, making me wonder why they were even introduced in the first place.
Also, if you summarize the point of the series, it's pretty much saying that love is just chemistry and your own will plays no part in it, which is kinda meh.
Then again, I doubt the author really even thought about things like points and messages with this story. It was laughs-out-loud funny at first, and then dwindled into nothing.
Anything is better than yurishit.
Yuika deserved Chinami's ass
Does free will exist, or is it just an illusion?
Perhaps it was for the best that the manga ended since the author didn't seem to know where to take the story. Though a couple of more chapters would have been good to flesh out the ending.
I was promised in the first chapter that Chinami would try to win Yuika's heart and now I feel cheated.
>>MC ditched cute frustrated senpai for one-dimensional friend.

>The end of [Idol Pretender's] serialization was decided with only two chapters left to wrap things up. Honestly speaking, I wanted to have it go on for a little bit longer.
>The response to the tankoubons was fairly good too, which makes it that much more frustrating. However, I do think I did the best I could with the time I was given to finish, so overall I'm happy with it.
I don't think I ever posted this on any of my releases, although it was pretty obvious from how rushed the last two chapters were anyway.
I thought it made sense. Chinami was brought close to Oguri by what happened to her and after they spent time together she fell in love with him. Besides, Chinami wasn't close to Yuika before becoming a girl so it's not as if they had an established relationship.
