Who else is having trouble containing their hype?
It's going to be so hard to stay off /a/ so I don't get spoiled, until I get a chance to watch.
TRIGGER ruined... um, Candian Maple Syrup Day?
I saw this coming weeks ago, but I'm not sure what's going to happen afterwards.
Hopefully Ragyo's assistant will still be around.
Pic made me smile
I just want to hurry up and see if best kill is la killed so I can finally drop this show.
I thought it was going to be something less gore, to be honest I didn't like the end of episode 17.
>week goes by after shit hits the fan
>obscenities are yelled
>OST is fucking bangin'
It's going to happen like it has every other great fight in this show and don't even act like you guys aren't sick of that shit by now.
Studies show that spoilers can lead to an overall higher level of enjoyment.
I'm hoping for Mako to play an important role in the fight, but not hallelujah. What are the chances of this happening?
Somebody better fucking die
Slim to none, she's been left outside the arena.
I'm wondering what her little brother will do, and when he'll get some pants.
If it isn't HALLELUJAH or ruining the end of the first half with RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN RYUKO-CHAN then she serves no purpose that other characters in the show don't do better.
It's not Mako's fault. If she didn't HALLELUJAH, Ryuuko would have died as early as episode three.
No one will die yet there's too many episodes left and the only people that could possibly die to bring the story along would be a Deva to make Satsuki go all hulk-raeg modo which I am 100% against. Without Satsuki and all four of the Deva's this show would be absolute shit.
I mean who would get anything done if the A-team got taken down? Ryuuko?
Especially now that 17 has happened you can look back and see that no fight Mako has stepped in to was between people people who really wanted to kill indiscriminately. Satsuki and co might have a very much "ends justifies the means" approach but they aren't actually the bad guys.
Hell in ep 12 Satsuki LET Mako interupt and held Nui back because she didn't want to have to kill Ryuuko.
If Mako gives a Hallelujah to Nui she is going to get cut bad. Either that or pulls out some crazy hidden Mako moves and the Toonbowl is on!
HALLELUJAH is just Mako buying time for Ryuuko. And it works, generally speaking. Last episode Tsumugu and Ryuuko were going to fight for like no fucking reason, so Mako intervened, wisely choosing to have Senketsu speak up instead of having Ryuuko's idiot tendencies backfire on her again.
Like the A-team did anything but beat up a bunch of no-starts
I don't understand, what's the problem?
I think it's possible that Mako simply can't die. There's more than enough foreshadowing to allow for it.
Then again, everyone thought Kamina was super strong before he got murked by that fucking Beast faggot
So is Ryuuko gonna cut up all the life fibers while the student council holds off Nui and Ragyou?
Not me, Koe no Katachi stole all my attention with the latest chapter.
>Holding off Nui
They'll last... Five seconds. If they aren't beaten in five seconds, then it's a trick.
My hype is limited. I'm working all tomorrow morning and will be home late, so I won't get to watch it live like usual.
Definitely ready to see the Elite 4 earn a Gold Star for Effort against Nui, though.
Exactly, in a show full of hot blooded rage fighters she's a release valve for tension that gets built up way more than it needs.
The no-stars do not count as people. They are nothing but dead weight and should be shed off as soon as possible. But they did kind of take on Nudist Beach and completely subjugate Japan, but that's yeah they've done nothing as opposed to anyone else in this show.
He has to save his family
He joins nudist beach
Called this days ago
Why is everyone saying they saw this coming?
If you specifically could predict that'd she'd kill her mother than you're a damn good critical viewer, or I'm more stupid than I thought.
I barely even consider what will happen next in this show. It's just not that type of viewing experience for me.
Maybe not but now we're up against the main villains her power of interupt is going to be a lot less strong.
So does Satsuki deserve the wrath of the Furies, or are her actions the justified response of a molestation victim?
Furies don't care why you killed family, they just rape your ass
That scene is the only time where I thought it was needed, however in every other scene it was just completely out of place.
I actually haven't even seen a Mako speech that popped up after episode 3 for more than a few seconds. Got damn good at timing those bastards.
It was a pretty obvious direction for the show to go. Note that in the OP, when it shows Ryuuko on one "side" and Satsuki on the other, Ragyo is on neither side.
You think she's dead? AHAHAHAHA
>Ueno and Kawai acting like nothing is wrong
>fucking Shimada returns
It was really obvious that Satsuki was going to turn good, or at least fight on Ryuuko's side eventually. It was even more clear later on that she was not going to go along with Ragyou's plans.
But as for her stabbing Ragyou through the chest last episode, no, I definitely did not see that coming.
Not dead but whatever.
File is not named KataMako.gif, you lose 5 points.
Her actions are justified response to saving humanity from complete slavery due to the revival of ancient aliens.
"merc'd" you dingus.
Next episode all the townspeople in cocoons will be turned into life fiber zombies and all the one-off characters, like the club captains, will show up to fend them off. Even Maiko will be there. And Mako will get her Fight Club uniform back to save Mataro.
Yeah. I was expecting something a bit more drawn out. I spent the whole episode waiting for Satsuki's declaration of war but that back stab came from nowhere and had me in shock till the end of the preview.

Does not compute
This actually sounds plausible.
Maiko was kicked out from Honnouji though
We're talking about Kill la Kill, not ur fav anime
Huh. That is actually a very apt reimagining of that image. Looks a little sloppy, though.
So hope we get 2 star Mako back:
>Ryuuko about to get a beat down
>"Groan Mako ruining fights again"
>Speech comes in time with a knuckleduster nuke punch of doom
>Inu not blue
That pic is fucking ugly almost just because of that/
As much as I love that song, it absolutely does not go with everything. Satsuki has her own leitmotif, Don't Lose Your Way is Ryuko's.
I like the whole "Don't Lose Your Way Goes with everything" meme that's going around and in that respect it does fit the scene (any sort of turn around to epicness) but obviously yes in the show it's Ryuko's and no one else's.
When does the new episode get aired in japan? Ill have to avoid this place after that because assholes always spoil it before its subbed
I know the one you're talking about, and that's one of the dumbest studies. Yes, spoilers can lead to a higher level of enjoyment, but then you'll never be able to experience it without spoilers. Why not experience it yourself and then watch it again with the spoilers in mind?
How long does it for an episode to get subbed?
tonight's episode is going to be filler as fuck, they need to stay in Honnouji at least until episode ~22
The preview showed all of the Devas looming menacingly over Nui.
Shit's about to go down.
Its pretty obvious that all of them will lose so Ryuko can fight and kill Nui.
I won't be surprised if nui beats the devas, but I hope she at least has to fight them for it this time. Iori literally has the rule of preptime on their side
Oh fuck me I thought a new PSG was announced.
But yeah, new episodes gonna be cray.
What if Iori turns out to be an incompetent hack compared to Grand Couturier herself?
>after honnouji fiasco, devas receive medals from satsuki
>they're just tin rings with AT LEAST YOU TRIED etched on them
Bro...we gotta hurt to heal first...
I don't even bother trying to contain it anymore. I do what I can to relieve the built-up hype pressure every night before bed.
Two bad I'm going to bed.
That's one bad.
>Nui about to murder every Deva
>cuts to Mako
>song is immediately cut off as wardrobe crashes into the place she was standing
>Kiryuu ga Kill starts up hard
>2 STAR FIGHT CLUB UNIFORM, MK 2, MANKANSHOKU MAKO!
Only Kawai is acting like nothing happend, Ueno said sorry (she didn't really mean it but yeah)
Also Extended preview where?
CAN'T WAIT FOR NUI TO SAVE THE DAY AGAIN!
>It was even more clear later on that she was not going to go along with Ragyou's plans.
What indicated this?
it's ok I guess
The entire preparation scenes were tinged with obvious betrayal. The only remotely ambiguous part leading up to it was the ominous glowing eyes of Satsuki and her group standing behind Ragyou but in truth the ominous feeling was aimed at Ragyou herself.
The only surprise of it all was the brutality and rage of Satsuki against her mother.
But everything she's done up until this point has been to further her mother's goals.
That's the whole idea of deception, to make it look that way.
Looking at her actions in hindsight with the new perspective of her doing it to oppose her mother, it makes sense.
Assuming there's no sub delay today, I'm fine with containing my hype. If there will be a delay, though, I guess I won't be able to wait and just go to /a/ after the episode airs.
fuck you /a/ I won´t visit the board before I have seen the episode
There's a delay.
Time for Daiz to save anime again.
