weirdly drawn, thought the left hand had the sword and she just said fuck the sword i want the sheathe
h-how did this happen it wasnt in this order the first time
this makes the anime looks like toxic shit
Because Satsuki has actually human feelings?
Seeing a strong person's resolve falter momentarily gets me every time.
This is pretty awesome on just a technical level. I love the first page with the unsheathing and gripping of the sword.
She lost her mother years ago. She was dead when she became a slave to clothes.
Its a really nice touch, they are perceive more as human a less of the role they assume and take. I hate when people call out of character, expecting them to be robots all the time. Their moments when their resolve falter momentarily actually builds on them instead of tearing them down.
>they are perceive more as human a less of the role they assume and take
Yeah, that came out weird but fuck it, I am tired.
I still don't know what the fuck you were trying to say.
Probably something about how it humanizes/fleshes them out instead of making them seem out of character.
Its like they see the role or the job as the individual itself, anything outside the role that interferes or hinders with that role detracts or "cheapens" that character as a whole. Like say Satsuki hesitating calls in question her whole persona and the build up she was given during previous episodes is supposedly invalidated.
Here >>101992428 Satsuki its more than the imperious president of Honnōji Academy's Student Council, she is also the daughter of the woman she is killing. When her resolve falter momentarily it shows that she loves or once loved her mother but despite that she continues on with the matricide and her decision to kill her mother carries more weight because of that. If she didn't care then the murder lacks the weight it otherwise could have and it seen easier and less important as result.
In a fewer words there is more to Satsuki by hesitating than there is if she didn't.
