What does /a/ think of Gundam Build Fighters?
Anime of the season or what?!
i don't get this pic
I think that sagesubs sure are taking their time this week.
>waiting for re-encodes of hs subs
No way, HS is youtube rips. Sage looks better than that.
And now you're going to say you were only pretending.
I download HS because I'm not gonna wait for shitty TV QUALITY. If the show was good I re-download the BD releases.
Okay, but the difference between youtube rips and TV rips is really noticeable in this case.
Sei is alpha as fuck
JUST FUCK ALREADY!
TV quality is worlds above youtube QUALITY, especially in a show with as much action as this.
I love this show.
Will we ever get to see Indian Haman? Aila already has dibs on the Qubeley so what
Will we ever get to see Indian Haman? Aila already has dibs on the Qubeley so what would she be piloting?
They can't. Ral's cockblocking Sei, remember? Otherwise, China would've spent the night with Sei.
Ral is just butthurt he can't tap some Sei mama ass.
He's not a GUNDAM BoyFriend material to begin with. He's a blue zaku.
Sei is gonna die, isn't he?
Of course not, this is a kid show.
China will though.
Come on, the results of the fights are stupidly obvious.
It's fucking awesome. OST when?
next week: Rei/Sei vs Nils
week after that: Aina vs Felini
the week after: Rei/Sei vs Aina
When is Meijin fighting LULA SANTANA?
Of course they are. But does that mean the fights have to happen entirely off screen? Not even like a five second clip of Indian Haman and her Cobra Gundam getting stomped by Fellini?
Offscreen since Lula isn't important
At least post the official version you dumb nigger
NILS THE FUCKING WEEABOO NEGRO FINALLY GETS HIS ASS WHOOPING NEXT WEEK
We're already in the Quarter-Finals. We won't see that fight.
>Rei/Sei vs Aina
You can't even count how many times his gundam katana has been folded
I hate twintails, I hope she doesn't change her hairstyle.
I also appreciate all the images you're posting in this thread
not that there is anything wrong with that
Any doujins about her getting the D?
We already got episode summaries.
Episode 19: Blade of Astray
On the battle eve of Nils Nielsen, Nils calls Sei and Reiji. "I have something I need to ask from you two. It's alright to forfeit the battle if you tell me." What are his motives?
Episode 20: Aila the Betrayer
The best 8 are advancing, and Fellini is taking the field. His opponent is is Aila. With the myth of unbeaten Aila and Qubeley Papillon, how will Fellini fight with Wing Gundam Fenice?
Episode 21: Among the Sparking Particles
"What am I doing here?" - An encouter with Barthes. A scout. Forced battling. Endless training... There is no choice but to fight for me. Aila is reminiscing...
Im still mad, Renato Brothers should have won, fucking meijin and his plotarmor. They were better pilots and tacticians
What? Yuuki pulled the exact same stunt they did but it's not ok when he does it?
Nah they had to resort to tricks to win.
is there a collection of all the twitter stuff?
I wouldn't call them better pilots. Yuuki is the better marksman, and in melee combat they needed the advantage of the EXAM system plus the K9 artillery support.
I could concede that they're better tacticians, since they were able to come up with tactics that nobody else was able to think up. They did, however, get too arrogant and assumed that Yuuki would simply get caught up in their pace. They were smart enough to keep the EXAM system as a secret back up plan, but they didn't think that Yuuki might have his own.
To be honest, you can't really compare them. Nothing new about the Kampfer was revealed in the middle of battle aside from the ability to block beams; it's not like he hid a secret power up from them that was revealed just as he was going to get killed.
He just remembered where his weapons dropped and lured the Renato brothers over there. He even dropped his rifle with the container as insurance, even though it was only the container that had taken a hit.
Anyone else slightly mad that the Meijin and Renato fight felt like Meijin won through luck and plot armor and not really because he was a better pilot?
I was, it was pretty bullshit that Renato couldn't finish off Meijin quickly. I would have jump from my seat if Renato K9 had killed him.
>Meijin won through luck
Are there really people who thought he didn't set that shit up beforehand? I thought they were pretty clear about that.
The Renato brothers didn't really show off their piloting skill. When it came to shooting, Meijin was better, and when it came to a melee fight they relied on the EXAM system - which is pretty much computer assisted combat on top of the power boost. That's ignoring their backpacks doing some of the fighting for them.
They were good at setting traps, but you could hardly say they were better at actual piloting.
It bothered me too.
>We saw the K9 blow up the abigorbine's joints, but we don't know how
>Lets grease the joints anyways, just in case
>oh look, the grease actually worked.
>we didn't even need to spend our immense resources from PPSE at all
>luck and plot armor
Don't tell me you're one of those idiots that thinks he magically ended up in the same area as his weapons even though he explicitly said that he lured them there?
Meijin was the better pilot. Meijin is a better pilot than the majority of the people in the tournament actually. A lot of them rely on plavsky bullshit while he just uses plain skill and fundamentals. And before you go "b-but PPSE built gunpla", he was doing the exact same shit with Zaku Amazing.
Get over it. Renato brothers were shit at close range. Their entire gimmick was strategy and tactics and they got cocky and didn't finish him off even when they had multiple chances to because "gotta show the world this dude fucking sucks."
He was in general a better pilot.
Actually, it bothered me that nobody noticed what happened the first time.
>Cameras focused on Abigorbine
>Abigorbine just standing there for 20 seconds, while the GM just casually blocks a melee weapon with its gun
>Nobody can spot little green Zeon men planting shit on the joints, even when replaying the footage
They knew it wasn't funnels, wasn't bits, no visible weapon fire other than the weak handguns and the damage was explosive. So that leaves direct contact explosives or direct contact explosives. I wonder which it could be?
The only thing bullshit in the entire episode was that no one noticed those mini-soldiers that are suddenly plainly visible in the second fight and are on a comparable size to funnels, which most people have no trouble noticing.
This episode's battle was bretty good.
>that sniper doge
>tfw marathoned all 18 current episodes
>tfw now I have to wait every week for a new episode
Why is life so much suffering. I expected this show to be kiddy shit. And while the show have no qualms what is it about the quality of the animation and the writting is ahead of your typical BUY OUT TOYS NOW KIDS kind of show.
>superior marksmen and long-range fighters to Yuuki/Mejin
>matching and overwhelming him in their beam saber duel regardless of using the EXAM system
>setting up constant traps and using different tactics and ambush techniques to put Meijin off balance most of the fight
>didn't really show off their piloting ability
No, what did the Renato brothers in was getting confident and ignoring their situational awareness.
They showed off a lot. In fact throughout the world tournament they constantly used different gunpla in different parts to success.
So have you bought your plastic toys yet?
Not into toys anymore.
Back in the late 90s I bought model kits of Gundam Wing and shit. But I'm to lazy to do that anymore.
>watching Beyblade with Gundams
You didn't like Beyblades as a kid?
I feel like I've seen that scene before. Guy limping out of the flames with a pistol and a panicked mook double shooting wildly.
So 21 is Aila flashback episode? How much orphan bullying do you think there will be?
>Renato brothers were shit at close range
It's like you didn't even watch the episode.
They lose both their pistols to Yuuki's one and then pop the EXAM system giving them an overwhelming power advantage. I don't know if that's enough to make a call one way or the other.
They had to rely on the EXAM system for their close combat.
Renato bros should've won.
>Superior Marksman to Yuuki
They couldn't land a decisive blow even after ambushing him several times and having support artillery distracting Yuuki.
And then, when there's an actual direct shootout between the two of them, Yuuki manages to shoot their handguns out with just one pistol.
>matching and overwhelming him in their beam saber duel regardless of using the EXAM system
Ignoring the power advantage EXAM gives, it's a system where the computer assists the pilot in combat. It's literally auto aim.
>Setting up constant traps, tactics and ambushes
That's not piloting skill itself. It gives them an edge in battle, but it's mostly stacking the deck in their favor before the battle begins.
And, when those strategies failed, they panicked, unlike Yuuki who was able to keep a clear mind even when his operator was feaking out.
> [sage] Gundam Build Fighters - 18 [720p][10bit][CCBCCE20].mkv
AD-san confirmed for bro.
Its a new meme by some nip TV. Look at the catalog.
They are shipping them way to hard for them to get a happy end.
