I tought next chapter will be the last one, but they will just celebrate an anniversary.
Well duh. Long series like Beelzebub usually countdown the final chapters. If it were ending next week, we'd have known by now.
Well... that was quick
It was probably just rushing to end the arc so it could go back to comedy.
So next time it's angel arc, right?
After the obligatory comic arc.
Did... did Tamura just recreated the entire Goku vs Vegeta fight?
Rushed as it was, at least he had fun with it
Yeah, there were too many loose ends for the series to end here.
You can't kill the Demon King!
jealous aoi is always fun
>Manga literally closed all ties
Well that arc was shit.
>DB got old : the chapter
You can't start a thread about a new chapter and not dump the chapter.
So now, that Hilda become officially tsundere, will ever see her amnesiac personality again?
Man they should just pass it to Sunday it fits better there and would have run longer
>Furuichi is 0th Crest
your tears will be delicious
Why would they pass it off to their "rival" magazine
he was there before anyone else ;_;7
It'll go to Shonen Jump's Japanese Online edition. Same thing happened to Policewoman Kiruko when it was axed from its run in Jump, and it was a pretty good comedy series.
>Since when were you under the impression that yada yada yada
Usually they'd have an interview or something for a long-runner. Bleach and Naruto both got to say they were in their final arcs. Beelzebub wouldn't get the same treatment as Sensei no Bulge.
No it's symbolise an anus what Oga wants so bad.
He had a crest the entire time, he's just too weak to actually activate it.
I'm gonna miss him
Didn't Medaka end on its anniversary or something like that too?
The Adventures of Furuchin no Hentai continue...
>5th anniversary color
>thank you page
sounds like an ending flag.
So who won da beelzebub?
They'll celebrate the anniversary and the axing. Probably make meta jokes about how the story really isn't over but there's no helping it. No resolution to Aoi's love, Beel still goes naked, Furuichi and Nene break up, and everyone goes back to St. Ishiyama because their school was destroyed.
Where the hell was Zenjuurou this whole time?
What about the other three old dudes?
Was the long-haired guy in the demon world Christmas gift arc actually Satan, or was he that guy from Solomon?
What about that clone of Beel that was made during training?
Who was Forcas?
Alain Delon won the Furuichi.
Well Furuichi fits all the requirements of being Yammy.
What's with all the second-stringers in the end panel? There's Paako, Good Night, Natsume, Maskes, and Lamia's mom. They're taking up all the real estate.
>inb4 bland delinquent girl win
>Furuichi wins da Oga
>Furuichi wins da pillar Squad
If fandom didn't think Beelzebub was ending until now, there is no hope. No wonder it got cancelled.
Shit. My sides. Are gone.
No one put a crest on it except Oga
suck it, waifufags
To be fair, Beelzebub is generally at the top of the bottom. It's not like those axed series that just can't escape the valley of disinterest.
On the bright side, it's gone on long enough that Jump would consider a continuation in one of their other magazines.
Unlike a certain other series that was shitcanned at chapter 99.
>furuichi jokes that the crests mean waifus
>gets Crest number 0
bet he's regretting that joke right about now
There's always a chance to continue. Small chance, but chance. There's no harm in hoping is there?
>Paako hugging Oga
Best girl won, just not with the guy I wanted her to be with
That was before the spring arc that introduced us to the new freshmen.
What series? Mx0?
Wait, wait, wait.. Beelzebub is ending?
I stopped reading at 199 I think, because I like reading a whole stack, but if it's ending I'll have to catch up ASAP.
Mx0 was better than Beelzebub too....so much more potential...
She doesn't care. She feels equal friendship with all the guys, except maybe Kanzaki, who is fist in her heart.
Wait a second...
Didn't the demon king have a beard?
>Wait, wait, wait.. Beelzebub is ending?
next chapter is the last, flags everywhere
>xcept maybe Kanzaki, who is fist in her heart.
>fist in her heart
Highly relevant. And cute as fuck.
Or not. Did you see how happy he was this chapter? Furuichi is ready to get tenderly loved[/spoilers]
where the f*CK is mah boy ATHRUN?
What about MK5?
Nice typo there. It fits
Oga's definition of tender loving is not drawing blood. furuichi is screwed in more than one way
It started as a typo, but I left it in
Well, that was a fucking stupid arc. I'm glad it's over.
>Furuichi turns out to be super special and manage multiple contracts and withstand demon energy
>Alaidelon really likes him
the reason Alaidelon ended up in ishiyama when transporting Beel was because he felt Furuichi's uniqueness and potential as a contractor. But he was so weak he miscalculated and ended up near Oga (who, having been around furuichi so long, felt like him) so seeing oga's evil he handed beel to him.
This is my explanation and with the manga ending next chapter not even tamura can prove me wrong.
Not really. If I recall neither Reborn or Medaka Box had a countdown, and it wasn't known that the series were ending until a few days before the respective issue hit
The author browses pixiv. How shameful
Medaka most certainly did start counting down a few chapters before the end. No idea about Reborn, though
Oh really? I just remember the Bouquet Toss to the Future arc, then we had two epilogue chapters. If they made an announcement I might have missed it
I knew it was going to be a Kamehameha.
The taglines at the end of each chapter have been pretty explicit
>The final battle begins now!
>the final attack!
Also, there was a chapter actually titled "countdown"
To be fair, when Oga fought what's his nuts and Lucifer at the end of the previous arc one of the taglines was "A fierce fight! The story heads towards its conclusion!"
>yfw Furuichi is the whole reason the manga happened in the first place
>Reading the last episodes to catch up
>Super Sayan Oga
Farewell Great General Furuichi ;_;7
>"Thank you color page"
>5 Year Anniversary
>story is wrapped up
Yep, it's the end
"heading towards its conclusion" is different than "this is the final battle!" The editors have used the word "concluded" a lot, but actually have never used "final" until now.
But it's not. I suppose the biggest plot, Beelzebub III wanting to destroy the Human World, is, but there are so many loose ends.
And 23 pages is kind of small for a final chapter.
Any chance we can have one more week of Imoortal Furuichi generals for old time's sake?
Nene versus Agiel for access rights to Furuichi in the last chapter, I can feel it.
I will miss this. Those were fun days /a/
God Furuichi vs Oga was funny.
They built it up for like two chapters then just this happened. It's why I can't stop reading Beelzebub.
>the general rises
It actually came true
It really is good at comedy. Is there anything left in Shonen Jump that focuses on comedy first?
Gintama still does, though it has its own share of serious action arcs.
That's why it's such a good manga. It balances the humour and the action perfectly. If you remember immediately after this it got into the serious Bohemoth Furuichi vs Oga, it and transitioned perfectly. I haven't read a manga close to the perfect balance like this.
Meanwhile Kishimoto inserts a joke about Neji who died about half a day ago....
It was good when it was actually about delinquents, then it went all demon and got painful to read.
Did you read Needless?
It's pretty good with humor/action balance.
I think every good shounen had to contain large amount of humor.
Most series tend to be like that.
Bleach was at it's best when it was teenagers running around town exterminating ghosts
Reborn! was decent when it was just some loser kid getting plagued by the crazy people in his life.
Beelzebub was good when it was Oga the delinquent
It's part of being a Shounen comic, part of teh styling is to have a decent chunk of humour to go with the action. What I'm saying is I havent read a manga as funny and well balanced as Beelzebub.
And no I havent read Needless, I'll check it out. Thanks.
Who are the guys at the bottom?
M6 or was it M5, Goodnight
Beelzebub became unfunny to me when I started reading Angel Densetsu
All those side characters showing up...
I hope they get more screen time if the manga continues like it seems to be. I always had a soft spot for goodnight, ryoko and kaoru.
>Beelzebub III showed up on Earth
>Angels of Heaven were defeated
Its a long shot, that '"Thank you" color page' sounds dubious. But I can see some hope as there hasn't been any official word yet.
So, we agree that Hilda made just about the manliest 'power of friendship' phrasing ever, right?
remember when it's revealed that Hilda was the same age as oga?
i'll be mad if Aoi wins da BeelzeB ub
Will we ever find out how strong Natsume really is?
Which fight was it that goku used his foot to boost his kamehameha?
Reading Angel Densetsu makes everything else you're reading at the same time seem unfunny dumbass.
I was disappointed that he wasn't /actually/ an angel
Canceling the series on it's fifth anniversary seems harsh. So I hope it survives.
Around the same level as Oga's sister.
Seems about right he seemed ready to fodderize that one crested dude.
You could tell with Reborn, though.
Also, it's ending was terrible. Amano should feel bad about that ending.
23rd tournament against Picollo in the finals.
Isn't the fact that he can contract with a bunch of demons at once indicative of his ability to use demonic magic etc etc or something
Final chapter is a flash forward dream Oga has.
Fucuichi is buff and has like a dozen tatoos. Chiaki is the new leader of Red Tails.
Furuichi has a tsundere Harem
Toujo looks more like his master now.
Himekawa is in permanent Bishie mode and followed around by his fiancé.
Pako and Kanzaki are dating.
Beel now looks like a 3 year old, and is wearing clothes.
>Furuichi starts talking about all their amazing adventures.
>Oga doesn't remember any
>Furuichi calls on Oga's special friend to come help him out see Hilda and Aoi and they ask "Are you alright Dear?"
>Oga wakes up screaming
Beelzebub should continue but if it ends I will send it off with tears of satisfaction
What an underwhelming end to an arc. All the tryhard action wasn't to my tastes either, but I have to admit I liked it at the beginning of the arc.
I'm curious to see where they go from here, because if Tamura keeps trying to push this style of action then Beelzebub's quality is about to go quickly down the drain.
Wait is Beelzebub ending or not?
The battle arcs are ending.
The slice of life humor is only beginning
That was something a random faggot said here without any base or source.
This was supposed to be the last chapter according to what the random faggot said, due to the new manga schedule.
It did seem like it was winding down, but I guess not.
