What is the worst anime you've ever watched?
That Xenosaga anime
There was a Xenosaga anime?
Not sure, but I've seen some truly bad anime.
Uchuu Senkan Yamamoto Yoko would probably be my top pick, but Misutenaide Daisy, The Skull Man, and Kenya Boy are contenders.
My favorite anime is your favorite anime.
- Saint Seiya Omega
- Aquarion Evol
- Dragonaut the resonance
These aren't even legitimately bad.
>you are favorite
>you are favorite
Thanks anon, I love you too!
Pic is a "good" one. The original OVA wasn't even good, why hell did they remake it?
Also "The Humanoid"
Please be bait
Even if it's not, there will be people on /a/ who would think it isn't.
It's like a Tom Clancy novel with a gratuitous Japanese character added and all the plot taken out.
For me it would either be the DMC anime, or SAO for being so boring. But if you count watching a spoony riff for sure the worst is Final Fantasy Unlimited.
>Uchuu Senkan Yamamoto Yoko
it really baffles me that a mostly girl-cast doing space battles directed by Shinbo ended up being SO BORING
That was so bad it was good, while most of these are so bad they're bad.
Pic related. I thought it would get interesting, but it never did.
>3.33 compared to anything in this thread
it's like you haven't even watched anime
Vividred Operation, I find myself answering this thread daily.
Long as people know Vividred is bad I'm okay with that.
Futari wa Milky Holmes.
How is Vividred the worst thing you've ever watched?
Lelouch has seen fucking nothing
You're favorite animu
It was ok for what it was.
Worst I've seen is Chaos;Head, I usually at least go through the first episode. I dropped it after 10 minutes.
VN is much better in capturing how crazy he starts to get.
texhonylze, its only good if you're feeling suicidal and need that final push
>yuri kiss between succubi
>not better than 2.22
>not super interesting
Others are too bait to reply to.
the second half of SAO
ITT: people that have never watched legitimately bad anime
You watched >>101967764?
Only redeeming quality: the trap.
I'm referring to the majority of the posters in here.
Was too busy sleeping to notice the kiss.
man, the early 2000s was seriously a dreck of harem comedies and bad ecchi shows especially ones based on VNs like:
Wind: A Breath of Heart
Hit o Nerae!
Date a live
>bait a live
W-wish could have been interesting for the double imouto incest, if it wasn't so badly executed.
Jojo's bizarre adventure
Fucking male power fantasy, not even a single woman in that shitty anime
Mediocre game turned into mediocre anime.
well why don't you just go back to the department stores then?
What is the most entertaining bad anime you've ever seen?
Ninomiya-kun. Fucking hilarious.
That summary, what the fuck.
Ninja Scroll TV
It was shit.
That one where big tit sister won even though other girl had way more development.
Look, Lelouch. I agree with you every thread that it's a piece of shit and one of the worst I've seen, but honestly, Mars of Destruction, Green Green etc are worse, you have to admit that.
>implying he has seen anything outside of the mainstream
We warned you.
one of these three:
Kannazuki no Miko
I'm so glad I introduced /a/ to this on a higher scale just so they can be mind broken.
What was wrong with Green Green? it was dumb, but entertaining as hell.
MoMH is actually good compared to some of hte stuff posted in this thread. It actually had entertainment value.
Kampfer hands down
It's like someone took all the reasons why I don't like anime and made an entire show with them.
U fucking wot m8, those r' fighting words.
Ninomiya-kun it's actually better than Bakemonogatari
But it was so bad you had your mind broken, which is good and bad all in one. The asspulls itself were entertaining but possibly worse in a way than shit that is just boring and bad that it's just bad.
MoMH is a different kind of bad in my eyes. I mean, there's no way in hell it can be considered good in any possible way.
>I mean, there's no way in hell it can be considered good in any possible way.
It was entertaining. It was good in that regard.
I'm sorry man but I own those three. I actually paid for them is what I'm saying, and Excel Saga is the only one of those I dropped. I dropped an anime I bought. That's how much I didn't like it. I wasted my money on it and it wasn't worthy of wasting my time as well
Cosplay Complex and Asu no Yoichi were both pretty horrid.
>Why did I sit through 2 cour tier:
Melody of Oblivion.
Goddamn my completionism
I was thinking the same actually
I fucking hate myself for this too.
So much shit I've watched when I just could've dropped it.
The only redeeming part about Kampfer was watching it with /a/
I dunno anon, I was enjoying it for the first couple of episodes, though that was only because I'd not played the VN and thought that it was gonna turn out to be Welcome to the NHK meets Silent Hill
Well it gave a reaction, so I would personally consider it good. Anything that gives any form of reaction, be it bad or good, is, in my view, considered good in some respect.
There's no way a ''bad'' anime would create so many twist in so little time without being good.
Eh, who knows.
Worst? In terms of how bad or how much I hated it?
I'm still going with Lovely Complex.
Not the most objectively bad but definitively the worst by how much I kept raging and hated the goddamn MC that completely killed the story and made it worse and worse as the story got along.
It's like making a satire of romcom anime and then forgetting to put the satire and you're left with full of cliches that seem purposefully placed there and a guy who is so dense it makes shirou look somewhat a genius in understanding the opposite sex.
I'm glad I don't have that I dropped something I was watching I don't remember the name of with one episode to go. I just got bored. It's that one anime where the screams externally gif is from, and I dropped Toradora 3 episodes before it finished when that aired.
Ultimate Girls and Steel Angel Kurumi 2 and 3.
Chaos;Head 3 times
NGE, it managed to be more retarded than TTGL
How is NGE retarded?
>Asu no Yoichi
giant robots fighting giant aliens for 20 episodes in a row, i just dropped.
Fuck the movie store guy for suggesting it.
Except that's not what happens at all.
so, what else happens?
It wouldn't have been as bad if Gonzo didn't turn it to the purest form of QUALITY.
Also, this one gets my vote. Why did I watch it all?
How so? The character interactions and turn of events fit with what was going on in the show. It's a show that's pretty unique and really doesn't pander to fanciful ideas of character archetypes. I just rewatched it a few weeks ago and realized it really doesn't deserve the hate it gets.
TTGL was just absurd.
You must have not seen much to call NGE the worst.
i watched 20 episodes, all of them was about shinji getting in the robot, suffering some damage, killing the angel, thinking of giving up, remembers humanity's hope is with him and gets back to nerv, sometimes he has some help from asuka/rei. It's like this for 4/5 of the show, how can someone possibly like it? it's just a boring anime to watch
NGE. It's only good for the nostalgiafags.
A good portion of the show is just angel fighting and filler episodes. That's common with any anime though. Like 70% of the plot and reveals happen in the last 4 episodes + EoE.
Don't judge something without watching it all..
And Shinji does nothing but give up. He doesn't remember he's humanity's hope. He just thinks "I like being wanted". That's why the fucking show ends in everyone being turned into tang except him and Asuka. He was just a child.
It's also the BEST anime I've ever watched
Has to be NakaImo. That shit was just awful from the start and only got worse.
everytime i discuss why i hate NGE i make clear i didn't watch the whole thing, but even if the end saves it, i can't really say that an anime which is 4/5 boring is good.
I never said it was good.
It's unique and not shit.
Love Live!. That was the most painful thing to watch, I just skipped half the dialogue and guessed the outcome, and what do you know, I was right 90% of the time.
