explain me why Gon is so fucking mad, he was a good boy.
Why should I have to explain just because you're autistic and can't follow the show?
He needs to get laid of course. Killua wants his asshole too. No homofag.
Not op but this was my first episode of hxh ever. Only watched it because of the threads here.
I'm totally lost since I've never read the manga.
Use the fucking catalog.
im just don't get it
there's no reason to be that mad
Read the other thread. Or better yet, read the manga.
Read the very first chapter of the manga. Kaito was Gon's mentor or sorts and was the reason he wanted to search for his father and become a Hunter.
This anime omitted the part where kaito was the first gon's hunter teacher. Kaito was a father for Gon for a while when gon was a little kid. I know this sucks, but the Kaito past is the only part that this anime changed.
that's explain everything.. is there any other change or just this?
The anime omitted a lot of explanations, and a minor task during the Hunter trials was replaced with a really stupid filler.
>This anime omitted the part where kaito was the first gon's hunter teacher.
They just put that part at the start of the CA arc.
Sure Gon suddenly remembers it but that doesn't change the fact that he knew Kite since he was a little kid.
Also the anime expanded upon the Ging/Kite relationship which is an important part of why he's so important to Gon.
That's pretty much it regarding changes to the story line itself. Although there are many, many details, information, worldbuilding and scenes skipped from the manga, the G.I arc is the arc that suffered the most from this.
So really, if you want to get the full experience with HxH, read the manga.
Dude Kite/Kaito was the most close thing to a father that Gon ever have. think about.
Nope... In this version Gon know Kaito at final of Greed Island. Maybe you are thinking in the first anime version?.
Start with the Chimera ant arc. And when you see a named character you don't know, assume they are a former villain if they look evil, assume they were a past ally if they look good.
The Ants are their own new faction. Don't bother reading from the start, it is pretty shitty and drags on horribly at Greed Island. If you like what you see when you watch the Chimera Ant Arc, just know that it is the peak of HxH.
>bomber tortures people and threatens them into doing his work then kills them after
>wants to kill gon and almost succeed
>LETS FORGIVE HIM HES ONE OF US HEAL HIM UP WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT THE HUNDREDS OF INNOCENTS HE KILLS
>someone actually kills someone who matters to him
>BADURR HURR U MUS DIE I DONT CARE IF OTHER PEOPLE SUFFER IN THE PROCESS MUH REVENGE!!
Nope, this version also include the flashback in which Kite saves Gon from the foxbear.
:O I dont remember that...
Feels like pretended lack of understanding.
I remember back then when Kite was introduced to the anime there were lots of old anime and manga fans who launched a hate war for the series not starting with Kite like the manga did. They said people will not understand why Gon is so attached to him. I think they are playing game of pretend now so they could call themselves right.
I have watched some youtube revieweres and many of them are entry level anime fans. None of them even showed a slight confusion over why God was so mad. I don't think there are people who actually notice this at all, with the direction level the anime is taking. There are far stupider things and far more implied emotions in anime and even the average watcher gets used to shit like this.
So I don't think anyone would actually bitch about this unless they pre-decided to do so since the Kite reveal. Which is kinda sad since what is even the fucking point that they are making if they even have to pretend the reaction that they are talking about. Who is convincing who of what there?
That's the point. this is why Gon said that things to Killua.
I hate that they did that. It makes the whole Kite thing seem like a massive asspull to someone who isn't familiar with the manga.
That's pretty much how humans think. Mass murder is just a statistic unless you were directly affected by it.
Gon has killed people. He doesn't give a shit about murder. His best friend is an assassin who has ripped out people's beating heart.
What Gon cares about are his friends and family. Kite was one of the closest people to him, even if the anime adaption downplayed their relationship. That's probably Madhouse's biggest mistake so far.
He dated women for fun.
His best friend was an assassin.
What did you expect?
Firstly, Gon's a sociopath. Secondly, he was sort of responsible for Kite "dying".
>I have watched some youtube revieweres
Also what is with the horrible english littered throughout this thread. Is some spanish fuck trying to fit in?
I see, because I was really wondering why the fuck he is so mad and then telling killua off when they literally barely know the guy beyond gon's little flashback.
It's google fault.
u mad broh XD
Please go to your spanish forums, this is just painful to read.
HxH is really popular on South America so I wouldn't doubt it.
I would know, because I'm from there.
''You have it easy Killua, you're perfectly calm since it means nothing to you...''
de donde eres
Sacó dos triples seguidos señor.
You are responding to the words and not what is being said. It is a bad habit.
>My cute MC can't possibly be this sociopathic.
I wish he screamed like that to me
It was foreshadowed that Gon is practically a monster and a ticking time bomb since at least York Shin Arc.
Gon did jack shit on that kurapika infested fujoshit arc.
He also didn't give a shit that the spider/bomber murdered a lot of innocent people.
>He also didn't give a shit that the spider/bomber murdered a lot of innocent people.
That's just proving his point, dude.
Gon's a self obsessed, superpowered brat.
>Gon did jack shit on that kurapika infested fujoshit arc.
He proved that he really was completely open minded as far as morals go.
>He also didn't give a shit that the spider/bomber murdered a lot of innocent people.
Or his best friend? That was in the first fucking arc. His best friend is a professional killer, and Gon is totally cool with that.
Murder was not the problem in the case of Kaito.
Most of the people Gon has fought or been near long enough called him inhuman in some way. Genthru called him completely insane.
>Gon did jack shit
Yet, except for all the character development (actually, it was more exploring his character than developing his character, but whatever.)
>He also didn't give a shit that the spider/bomber murdered a lot of innocent people
He doesn't really seem to care about Killua or Hisoka's bodycounts either.
He isn't mad at Pitou because she killed innocent people. I mean, Kaito was here to exterminate the ants, it was just self-defense. He's angry at her for killing Kaito and toying with his corpse, and most of all because he couldn't do anything.
The reason is Gon blames himself for Kite's death, he took all of the responsibility for himself unlike the stuff that happened with Genthru
It's also extremely popular in the middle east, it's more well known that shit like Naruto One Piece and Bleach
He also blames himself for Kaito's death
Yea as someone who only watched the reboot, I didn't get it either. But with this in mind it makes way more sense.
Gon almost feels dumber than usual for snapping over a dude he knew for less than a week.
I only thing I don't like his how Alluka heals Gon right after anyway, would've been nice if Gon's actions had consequences.
>main character of a shonen manga dies
>everybody else moves on
>story is not about the wacky adventures of minor character B
*story is now about
Togashi probably just wrote himself into a corner and needed a fix
I agree. That's why I think that if Togashi ever resumes again, Alluka will either never appear again or just be the first one to die. Having a character that can break the story just as easily as Alluka could do is dangerous.
I'm holding a button on Alluka being connected to a being of some sort on the dark continent, and that being ends up as an antagonist that has to die.
Make his death fall ambiguously into Gon's responsibility, and there'll finally be a reason for a standoff between Killua and Gon.
But my shota ships
Alluka is a boy or a girl?
They didn't omit it, they made that episode but it wasn't at the start of the show..
I've been wanting to pick this series up.
Should I go with the original or the 2011?
Is it catching up to the manga or is there any telling whether it's ending soon or not?
ADD please, the showed the episode when Gon and Kite meet each other and explained the close relationship with him and Gin, put more attention the next time but with the quality of the thread I doubt you even watch the show.
There is no way my heart could take this.
Killua was a serial killer too
It's interesting to rewatch York Shin after going through Chimera Ant. Gon and Killua intentionally fuck up Kurapika's attempts at revenge, because they're worried about what they will do to him (both actually say this to Pakunodo). About a year goes by before Gon does the same thing, and gets asspained when Killua tries to interject into his own attempts. Makes Gon seem like such a hypocrite; if anyone has a right to vengeance it's Kurapika. Kite was a soldier who knew full well what he was getting into. The Kurata, on the other hand, were an entire race, living peacefully in the forest, slaughtered down to every man, woman, and child, and then mutilated thereafter.
