They'll obviously never become real friends.
But do you think they're going to at least try again?
I think they could be interesting friends. They're certainly alike in various aspects as we've seen.
It would be neat if they took a liking to each others' interests; Komi's academics and Tomoko's passion for dating sims and anime.
They could at least meet halfway and share mangas and stuff. It would be a nice uplift to the series too.
Also, at this rate, watamote is really just more of the same, and it's getting boring. A change like this would be great.
Actually, I won't mind a happy ending with Tomoko getting an actual and close friend that she can meet almost everyday.
>Tomoko getting an actual and close friend that she can meet almost everyday
Consider also that Komi's influence could encourage Tomoko to be less of a delinquent and keep to more of her studies and such.
Komi... well, I guess we don't know a bunch about her, but she nets a close friend as well and feel good for helping Tomoko with her other problems.
Oh yeah, she gets to be closer to Tomoki, though this could be grounds for conflict later on in the series.
>Komi and Tomoko becomes clsoe friends
>Komi gets her brother as BF
>Tomoko goes crazy and ruins everything by losing her only 2 friends and making her brother hates her even more
>Also, at this rate, watamote is really just more of the same, and it's getting boring. A change like this would be great.
Yeah, Komiyama changed it up a bit for a few chapters but now it's just them awkwardly taking stabs at each other. When she was lonely and depressed there was actually more conflict since it was all about her trying to get better. But there's no goal now.
I don't blam Tanigawa Nico though, they never planned to have the series run this long. I'm surprised they've kept it going well for so long, the series certainly isn't awful at the moment.
Rage friends, then.
I hope they end up befriending eachother.
And I hope that fucking Yuu bitch gets raped and murdered.
It'll probably keep going with that in mind as long as it has popularity, and then get an abrupt, inconclusive ending when popularity starts to drop. Such is manga life.
