Who's interested in getting a group of Anons together and watching an old anime on a certain day at a certain time?
We'll pick a show that most people haven't seen before, and then comment on it and discuss the episode together.
I think it could be fun, I was thinking of maybe something 52 episodes long. Seems to be some good shows in this bracket which most people haven't seen because the size intimidates them.
Tokyo Mew Mew
Zettai Karen Children
Anyamaru Tantei Kiruminzuu
Pichi Pichi Pitch
Any other ideas?
I had the exact same idea but never bothered making a thread.
I thought it could be like an "Artificial /a/ exclusive bonus season" or something like that.
I daydream a lot.
I also start sentences often with I.
Here you go, OP.
I think we can do it. It'd cut down trolling in the dull seasons. I think most people do it because they get bored
That's beautiful, Anonymous. Thank you very much
I havent seen much old shows, so I think this is a really good idea. Im open for everything
Good luck finding subs.
I'd love to watch it.
I'd do it. Would you want to sync watching it somehow (stream or syncplay) or just kinda agree on watching it together?
Well we can't really do streams under 4chan's rules, and I don't want it to be reliant on one person's technology. I think it'd be nice if we just downloaded a torrent together and started. Plus if there are any disagreements on sub groups, quality etc. then people can make their own choice.
How about Twin Spica? No one talks about that show anymore.
Holy shit, they really are rare.
Not a bad idea
>Holy shit, they really are rare.
More like nonexistent.
ZKC and Shugo Chara aren't really that old, right?
Not really no, Shugo Chara might be a bit too girly for some but ZKC can appeal to lots of people.
I don't know if the average Anon can avoid stabbing themselves or their screen in reflex for Party! though...
I never made it through the second season. I never dropped it as such, merely put it aside, but its probably been 3 or 4 years since I stopped now. Nazo eggs just went on and on.
Yeah Shugo Chara is not for the feint of heart, I love it but then I'm also an old school /c/ poster
I think Uninhabited Planet: Survive would be a pretty good show for people to check out. I imagine there are still quite a few people that haven't watched it yet.
That's a blast from the past.
It's not the second season that's the problem... it's 3... oh 3... Heresy incarnate.
So is anyone willing to actually take part in this? Shall we think up some kind of name so we can find future threads?
I am. Not sure if it's worth the hassle if only two people participate though.
Sure why not? Might be fun.
Well the good thing about a 52 episode series is that it gives people time to catch up before it's over.
I would participate too
That was an... interesting series. Well I read the manga anyway.
I hope it's good. I don't know when or why I downloaded it, but it's in my backlog. But the fingernails in that picture kind of freak me out.
'eh They're Gals, a certain type of trendy Dweller in the Shibuya district. They kinda do that, can't be helped.
Think Clueless: Anime Edition
Or so I've been told. Been sitting in my backlog for ages also.
Sounds like a nice idea. But are we going to just watch one episode a week? What's stopping people from watching ahead and spoiling people (Assuming we're picking something that has some sort of plot)
>Tokyo Mew Mew
Are you trying to tell me that after those Tokyo Crystal Mew videos that popped up a few years back people didn't watch this?
Sounds fun. I'd love to get some of these older shows watched.
Well AMV hell did kind of make that connection...
The MC is Toyoguchi Megumi-san, that has to mean something?
Apparently, I watched it when I randomly found it and connected it to the dub one day...
But I've watched all of those
