Lets celebrate Black History Month.
A whole month delegated to celebrating the fact we are not brown.
Sounds awesome. Where do I sign up?
Everybody dance now!
Black History you say?
At /pol/ with the other inbred adolescents.
Why are black characters instantly the best character of any anime?
THEIR PALMS ARENT THE RIGHT COLOR YOU SHITS
Simon wasn't the best character in Durarara, but I admit he was awesome and a brotastic fellow.
even in Shit Art Online, although Klein is also my nigga
Agil and Klein needed a lot more screentime. Not sure why they cut out Klein in ALO; the way they dragged shit out they could've easily thrown him in there for a cameo appearance at least.
Why does black people have such white teeth?
I don't get my own history month just because my inbuilt ultraviolet radiation protection is not high enough?
Well you could read your own history any day.
And blacks can't?
Well I don't live in America. So I don't know.
1. Da white man took our land
2. We independent nao
4. Choice of Communism or Authoritarian Capitalist regimes
5. Civil War
6. More corruption
7. Child Soldiers
10. More Corruption, rape (If I fuck babies, I can cure my AIDs) and drugs.
Superior diet for thousands of years, maybe? Overpopulation/starvation in Africa is a recent thing.
Let's celebrate the month where we are retold that a black dude had a speech and a black woman decided not to give up her seat.
Then nothing else is taught, we question why it exists, or why other months aren't even mentioned, and we are called racist and reminded that nobody knows anything about black people.
Rinse and repeat.
That's disappointing, why don't they teach about Ethiopia wrecking Italy's shit in the 1890s, or Mansa Musa being the richest dude in the world.
It should be called African-American history month.
Why are Americans so comfortable with being massive fucktards? This is why no one else really likes you guys (well no, it's for more important reasons).
It sounds like you an inferiority complex. Please go back to /int/ where you are free to discuss it.
You people need to stop being racists
Not even, cause if it was African-American history they'd teach about the Harlem Renaissance, Malcolm X, the Tuskegee Airman, and many other things as well.
Instead we're just going to keep learning the same two events, and occasionally George Washington Carver.
You don't do the Tuskegee Airmen? Wow, how does America fail this hard at their own history?
History Channel does it. They talk about how they Airmen were aided by aliens and ghosts
I thought the Airmen WERE alien ghosts.
Hitler channel doesn't seem so bad now.
And Hitler! Don't forget Hitler.
It demonstrates blacks gaining success by working hard despite their disadvantages. Don't want to get an important peon demographic all independent and stuff.
Because the US doesn't want to tell about Black History, focusing on the proud colonists, how the Native Americans mysteriously disappeared, and how the U.S. never lost a war ever. I didn't even learn that we're on our second White House until I visited /int/ or that there even was an African theater of war in WWII.
It's worse in the South, because in the North they actually focused on parts of the World that weren't white. I actually learned about why Muhammad was a big enough deal to get a religion based around him
Turns out he was a really successful warlord or something.
Yes, American education is kind of bad.
>I didn't even learn that we're on our second White House
You don't even do the War of 1812? Holy shit, American education IS terrible. It's the war that gives you free reign to expand west. Also, though debatable, the first war you lose.
I bet you don't even do anything on the importance of nationalism over communism in revolutions in the third world.
Muhammad is probably the most influential individual in history, and is certainly one of the most important. Mind you that's hardly something unique to America's education system.
